Incredible women, men smart enough to love them!
I have loved Rosalind James' books since I found the first "Escape to New
Zealand" book. When I saw this 3in1 of another series, "Ever After" that appeared to be attached, I grabbed it. And read it all in one go (with food, sleep, and potty breaks of course!) I loved the characters in all three, and never felt I was reading the "same story, different names.
Especially the last story, Kiwi Strong. Daisy seemed so realistic and talk about strong! Leaving her family, everything she knew behind, never to have contact with anyone from her past life again. It never felt far-fetched, which some people might think. And that was reinforced last night when I happened upon a series about "leavers" from an NZ "Christian Community" site called Gloriavale. So, wow. If you want to get the flavor of New Zealand, and romance that don't always seem to be set on a straight and narrow path, read these books!
