It starts with a drink and a game of mini-golf and ends with a one-night stand.
Or so they think.
Mel dreams of being an art therapist, but an overbearing family and an absent father hold her back. Until she meets Travis. Tall, blonde, and handsome, he’s irresistible. He’s everything she’s not looking for, but everything she needs.
Travis made a mistake, and now he’s paying for it. His chance at qualifying for the Olympic sailing team is about to slip through his fingers if he doesn’t find a new partner soon.
But when Travis breaks Mel’s trust, he risks not only losing his shot at the Olympics but the woman who’s stolen his heart.
Sometimes, not even Christmas is enough to bring a miracle.

This is the first hook I have read by this author but it won’t be the last. Book 3 in the New Zealand Sailing Series and I can honestly say this read can be read and loved as a stand-alone but that being said I will certainly be going back and reading the previous books in the series. Christmas is all about magic and miracles and Mel and Travis need both to make their dreams come true. Mel’s dream is to become an art therapist and Travis is desperate to qualify for the Olympic sailing team so will Christmas work it’s magic and give them their dreams….. This is a story about love, families, heartbreak and forgiveness, it’s beautifully written and it’s a magical yet emotional read that left me smiling. Looking forward to what’s to come from the talented Trinity Wood.
This is the third book in this amazing series, and this is Travis and Mel’s story. Mel always had her own dreams and aspirations, but thanks to an overbearing family and absent father, they have always held her back. Travis is paying the price of making a mistake, and his aspirations to quality for the Olympic sailing team, is holding in the balance unless he can get a new partner soon. Can Travis redeem himself? This is a well written story which is filled with emotions, family, heartbreak, redemption, and love, which leads to an entertaining and riveting page tuner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
5 star review of Yule Be Mine (New Sailing #3) by Trinity Wood This is my first book by Trinity Wood but it will not be my last, In fact when time permits I will be going back and reading the previous books in this series. Christmas is a time for miracles, a time to make dreams come true and that is what Mel and Travis both need.
Sometimes all it takes is for one night to change a persons life, and that’s what happens to our couple. Mel wants to be an art therapist, whilst Travis is trying to qualify for the Olympic sailing team.
This is a well written emotional story of family, forgiveness and love, which was entertaining and one that left me with a smile on my face.
An absolute cheesefest, from the huge Greek family stereotypes to the drag queens in a party bus saving the day.
This is not particularly well written. There's typos (loom instead of look, gage instead of gauge), there's tons of telling and not showing, the spice is awkward (and unprotected), there's tons of miscommunication from multiple parties, and the timeline is unclear. There's no character growth, just a lot of will-they-or-won't-they in between the miscommunications. And yet, somehow, it was entertaining.
I can't really recommend this one, but I'm not mad I read it.
I really enjoyed Mel and Travis's story from start to finish. They are lovable characters with an immediate connection. Mel has dreams but helping the family is her number one priority and Travis is trying to rebuild himself from his past. This is a sweet, quick read that had everything I was looking for in this type of read. The story flowed with the ups and downs, smiles, fun family members and one great dog!
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is the third book in the New Zealand Sailing series and just like the other books in this series I loved it. This is Travis and Mel's story. It is well written and has all the emotions.
Travis is paying the price of a mistake while he is trying to find a sailing partner. Mel has dreams but helping her family is number one.
I highly recommend this book and the whole story. I have heard this can be read as a standalone but for more enjoyment I highly recommend reading in series order.
