Will she realize too late that they don’t have to be enemies?

Evelyn Johnstone is the eldest of seven sisters. When their parents die in a tragic car accident, she must step up to prevent her family from falling apart.

Stephen Sampson is a former cowboy turned businessman who is ready to move onto greener pastures, literally. Blue Moon Ranch is up for sale, and he plans to buy it.

Only Evelyn has something to say about that. Her parents left her and her sisters a million dollars each, and the Johnstone sisters wish to buy the ranch they and their parents worked at.

From the start, Stephen and Evelyn are enemies, but maybe a bit of Christmas magic as well as wedding nuptials between Evelyn's cousin and Olivia the matchmaker will help a grieving heart find love.

Sierra Gamble has always loved horses. She used to draw them all the time as a little girl even if they were sometimes far too fat or way too skinny. For al little while, she took horseback riding lessons, and she would love nothing more than to get back in the saddle again one day!

Her grandfather used to watch western movies all the time. Sierra never really got into them until he became really sick. Now, she tries to write combine the horses that she grew up loving with the westerns Pop-Pop always loved. Of course, being a hopeless romantic, Sierra has to add romance to each story too!

This read like a first novel written by a teenager. It was hard to follow at times, so poorly edited and felt so awkward. The conversations didn’t flow at all because no one talks that way. The plot dragged on the beginning and then all of a sudden it felt rushed at the end. And I don’t feel like the ending provided that happily ever feeling that I was waiting for. The main focus of the ending was clearly to set up for the next book which I couldn’t be less interested in.

Sweet Romance

This was a sweet book. I liked how she used her convictions, in with a book when it came to God. I like how Stephen and Evelyn started out really being against each other, and then learning to know each other.
I like how she interacted with the other characters so that there'll be further books in the series, however there were a lot of errors in this book and it made me have to go back and reread things so I understood. However that didn't deter me from wanting to read more of the books in the series all in all it was a great read.

This was a nice clean modern ranch read. I enjoyed the characters, felt sorry for the sisters. The biggest problem was the spelling errors. There was one sentence I couldn't even guess what it meant. I have been camping, using a stake to hold down my tent. I have read that a wooden stake will kill a vampire. This is the very first time I have read, that a medium rare stake was served at a wedding, on a plate. Are you kidding me? There weren't any vampires around, in the whole book.

I liked the book but Evelyn irritated me with her attitudes sometimes. I understand she's grieving and needs to lash out but it wasn't fair to him. I feel like she never made any effort and their relationship just happened out of the blue. I liked them but I wanted more from them as a couple

Good story

The two main characters have more than a few disagreements, but with this being a romance, it all works out. Seven sisters keep it interesting.

REVIEW
Fantastic new series by this author and it is really good.
Evelyn is the oldest, and when her parents pass together of all things, it leaves her unsure how to go about taking care of her six sisters. She knows in her heart what she wants but can she have it?

When a fellow by the name of Stephen shows up wanting to buy the ranch that Evelyn and her sisters have worked at with their family for as long as she can remember well that just won't do.

Can these two figure out that they both care more for each other than they are ready to admit? And that maybe they don't need to be enemies.

Sweet, romantic, funny all the things that make a wonderful story. Can't wait to see which sister falls next.
