They begin to work side by side in the kitchen and Alden leans down and tells her she smells good. They lean in to kiss but the timer going off stops them. They both agree to continue later. Thankful for the Mountain Man is the third book in the Holidays with a Mountain Man series. Hope has moved to the small community of Independence Springs, Colorado six months ago to fulfill her dream of opening a bakery. Her family may thing she is crazy for doing this but with hard work she is making it happen and is already is the black. It is Thanksgiving tomorrow and after baking a lot of pumpkin pies there is one left which still needs to be delivered. So after closing the bakery Hope stops at the grocery store to pick up all the things she will need to have her solo holiday. She has plans for a miniature version of the feast with all the sides, and only sides. Then the plan is to hit the couch to veg out for hours watching TV and drinking some wine. But the special pie delivery proves to be a lot more than she had planned as she climbs higher up the mountain and a storm starts to come in fast. Alden is out walking his property before heading inside to hunker down before the snow storm hits. That is when he finds a car trespassing on his property. He is just about to give the person a piece of his mind when he instead becomes dumb struck by the young woman's beauty. As it turns out she was sent to deliver a pie which was ordered by a couple he is friends with. With the storm coming in fast Alden knows that he cannot let the beauty drive away as she will never make it back down the mountain without getting stuck. It seems that both Alden and Hope will have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving as they are snowed in together.........and make enough heat to melt all the snow that falls, just not too fast as they are having too much pleasurable fun together!!!

Hope is delivering a pie to a local man who lives high up in the mountain. As she's driving there the roads and weather get really bad and she runs off the road. There is a knock on her window and when she looks the most gorgeous mountain man is standing at her door. She's on private property but this is the man who she was delivering the pie too. There is an instantaneous attraction between Alden and Hope. They have the most amazing Thanksgiving dinner and while together they fall in love. Will he leave the mountain to be with Hope? One last pie delivery and Hope is off for the Thanksgiving Holiday, but getting stuck in a snowstorm and stranded on the mountain wasn't in her Holiday plans. Alden lives on the mountain alone and he likes living like that until he saves Hope. The more time Hope and Alden spend together the closer they get and before they know it the storm has passed and it's time to go back to their lives. Thankful For The Mountain Man is a sweet, insta love story about two people who are brought together in an interesting way. The writing is well done and the ending is perfect. This is book number 3 of the Holidays with a Mountain Man series and focuses on Alden and Hope. Hope is the owner of a bakery in town and she is asked to deliver a pie to Alden for Thanksgiving. On the way to his cabin, she gets stuck thanks to a snow storm and Alden is there to rescue her. The author has given us a fast paced, quick read that pulls us into the lives of Hope and Alden and does not let go. Alden lives on the mountain happy to be left alone until Hope enters his property. Hope has one last pie to deliver before going home and spending Thanksgiving alone. Can a grumpy mountain man and a small town bakery owner have anything in common?

This is the third book in the Holidays with a Mountain Man series. You can avoid the book as a standalone but it is connected to the other two books. Hope and Alden's story is a steamy, short instalove that takes place over Thanksgiving. They both have plans to spend the holidays alone but thing change when Hope ends up stranded, then rescued by the very man she was delivering the pie to.

A fabulous addition to this holiday series. I am LOVING Kate’s mountain men! Alden was a wonderful addition to it. A loner living on the mountain meets curvy baker Hope when she comes to deliver a pie. Weather causes her to be stuck for a few days with the mountain man and loving every minute of it. These two are sweet and steamy and I cheered for their ending.

This was a wonderful mountain man romance. I loved how it seemed at first like Alden was this gruff unapproachable guy, he was actually really caring and a true gentleman. Hope was a great fit for him. I loved how the story flowed, it was so well paced. This was really a great read.

I just love this series. The descriptions of the shop, the drive up in the mountains and Alden...wow all so good. You even hard me smelling those cookies. Hope got caught in a snow storm and Alden rescued her and the pie she was delivering. Read how their story goes,, it's good. Hope you like it as much as I have. Written by Cindy :)
Hope is a Baker and, for a friend, has agreed to deliver a pie as a Thanksgiving gift to someone who lives in the mountains. Alden lives alone, choosing a solitary life, rarely venturing far from his house. Hope becomes stranded, a blizzard has blown in and Alden rescues her by offering shelter. They spend a few days together and it turns into a full commitment...
This was a great quick read about Alden and Hope, she has one more delivery to make before Thanksgiving. She had big plans to binge watch TV and eat side dishes, however the weather had other plans. When she wreaks her car Alden is there to save her, but can he save himself?

Alden not one for being so social had found a car stuck on his property. Snow storm taking over the area was a priority and getting Hope safe was now number one. But when the snow is cleared away in a few days days time,…? Good story. Amazing how buttons can be popped off of flannel. no cliffhanger story.

Hopes car gets stuck on her way to delivering a pecan pie to Alden. From the moment they meet there’s an electrical undercurrent that sizzles between then. They enjoy similar things including the peace and quiet. A lovely story of two people finding what they didn’t realize they were missing. Thankful for the Mountain Man by Kate Tilney is a quick, predictable read about a stranded woman rescued by a reclusive mountain man. The story is super short, making it easy to finish in one sitting, but the brevity leaves little room for depth. While it’s an okay escape for a moment, it doesn’t offer much beyond the familiar trope. Decent for a quick romance fix!
