The events of this short story take place in the weeks just before Kingmaker (The Mapweaver Chronicles, Scroll IV) begins, as Neil and Adil and their desert companions seek out some way to unseat Li-Kamen, and return the proper emperor to his imperial throne. The following pages may contain mild spoilers for Wayfinder (The Mapweaver Chronicles, Scroll III)This tale is the result of a custom short story commission through my author Ko-Fi page, originally intended as a birthday gift from a wonderful father to his book-loving daughter. Solid

This really does place a solid context around Neil's actions and choices in book 5. I am looking forward to the conclusion and the game setting for this universe.
