A Burberry Prep x Adamson Academy Crossover Novel!

This is the FINAL story for both the Rich Boys of Burberry Prep series, AND the Adamson All-Boys Academy series . . . all in one volume!

Harem versus harem.
How often does one university entertain two coeds with harems of rich boys on their heels?
My name is Marnye Reed and this, this is Charlotte Carson.

Girl, just call me Chuck.
What are the chances? Is it fate? You have five boyfriends; I have five boyfriends.
Whoever could’ve guessed that Bornstead University had a strange and unusual tradition—one that’s put targets on both of our backs. Not that we’re unused to it. You dealt with an elitist club; I ran from a cult.

Mm. It’s unexpected. More so, it’s disappointing.
High school is a closed loop, isn’t it? It’s so easy to say happily ever after with a graduation cap on one’s head. But what happens afterward? How do we make this work? At least I can talk to you about it.

We can talk boys all night! Just so long as I don’t have to pretend to be one. Um.
But do we really have time to worry about how to make things work when it’s possible we won’t have harems at all at the end of this? I’m worried, Marnye. Somebody died. A girl died because they wanted to steal her boyfriend from her. We each have five.

It’s not as if we haven’t struggled before, right Chuck?
It’s not as if we haven’t fought, scraped, and bled.
It’s not as if we haven’t been bullied and intimidated.
If anything, this is our chance to come into our own. If anything, this is a chance at redemption.

This time, we’re not alone. I have you; you have me.
And we both have them.
Our boys. Our hearts. Our futures.

***Author's note - This book is a full-length follow-up to both the Rich Boys of Burberry Prep series, as well as the Adamson All-Boys Academy series.
It's highly recommended that you complete reading both series before diving into this book.
This story takes place immediately after the endings of both series, and is told from dual points of view by both Marnye (from Burberry Prep) and Charlotte (from Adamson Academy)It takes place at Bornstead University, the college where the characters from both series attend.

is it weird i really love chuck's boys more than marnye's?? also i love chuck's personality more than her's lol, i mean i get that they have different family background and all that but honestly, chuck handled all her problems easier than marnye and marnye spent the entire book overthinking and worrying, and it kinda annoyed me 😭

i really hope this is not the end for Chuck and her boys cuz i really love them and they have more personality than all marnye's boys combined lmaooo but overall i enjoyed this

I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE! I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF THIS BOOK!

WARNING: There will be some spoilers, but I will try to keep it light.

WOW! Just WOW! I haven't really read many crossovers, in the past. Only a few easter eggs or snippets of a character in another series set in the universe. Other than that, the only crossovers I have experienced were in TV and Movies (i.e. the marvel universe (one giant crossover lol) and like when the Sweet Life of Zack and Cody met Hannah Montana and That So Raven - Classic lol).

Anyways, mostly I don't think I've read many crossovers unless they were spin offs or snippets of characters that were mentioned. Still, its always a treat when it does happen! Which is one of the reasons why this book was so FANTASTIC! I got to see two of my favorite series actually interact with each other in the most comedic way (I'll get into that more later). You do not know how long I had been waiting to get my hands on this baby. IT WAS TORTURE! I had been stalking the Author's website and her social media just for updates on this one, it was THAT addicting. Finally, the day came. I had the book loaded onto my tablet. An iced coffee with extra mocha sitting on my nightstand. My favorite pillows propped up with the air con running pleasantly in the background. I was ready.

Here's how it went:

The Differences between Groups

This is a RH. So, it was one big get together. We got to see the Adamson Boys meet the Burberry Prep Boys. IT WAS EPIC. (You guys can't see it, but I am totally grinning right now). Honestly, although I liked each series on its own, we get a whole new feel on both groups. Let me explain...

In Burberry Prep, we see Marnye overcome a lot and everything that she went through fit in her world. The guys' behaviors also completely fit the vibe of that series. Same goes with the Adamson boys. Chuck had her own issues she had to overcome and the boys fit her vibe in that series. Them meeting each other really highlighted the differences between each of their group dynamics in a good way. I found out that I really liked Chuck and her boys WAY better than Marnye's. Not that I don't like them (they're completely swoon worthy too), but they still have a long way to go before they will be as cohesive as Charlotte and her guys.

Not to mention that the Burberry Prep boys are a lot more serious and morbid than the Adamson boys. This is why I think that this book just hit another level on the EPIC scale. We really get to see this contrast between characters and somehow it just made each interaction, hilarious. For example, when the Adamson boys would tease Charlotte in front of the Burberry boys. Then they would seriously judge the opposite school just because they were rivals. It was like hilarious to see them be like my school is better than yours and my girl may be nerdy but she's awsome-er than yours too. lol

Can I also say I LOVE that both girls love Boba and ANIME! It was like the BEST combo everrrr!

Comedic Balancing Act

Since Marnye had just lost her Dad to cancer, there had to be a morbid note to the book. It wasn't too depressing, but there was a very somber vibe that had me seeing grey during her POV scenes. Her discourse with the guys, more specifically with Tristan (He was acting seriously weird, like more than usual). However, adding Charlotte's POV really balanced the tone of the book. Her lighthearted, nerdy, and comedic personality really helped lighten the mood when it got too heavy. Ummmm not to mention that the twins had A HUUUGE part in helping out with the whole mood lightening thing. Even in the Adamson Academy books, they were my favorite characters because of their humorous outlook and their lighthearted banter. It was total Ouran High School vibes in both this book and the original series as well.

Well-Written Goodness

I never really have many complaints about books as long as they're well-written and aren't very depressing. Serious is fine, but depressing is a complete no no for me. Here, everything is SUPER well-written. I have no complaints whatsoever. This is why even if many people have mixed feelings about the Burberry Prep series and even the Adamson Academy series, C.M. Stunich will always be on my Authors I Would Follow Til The End Shelf. She gets to know each and every one of her characters. Then she writes about them fearlessly, having absolutely no qualms about changing their natures in a very realistic way. For example, we saw Tristan in the first book of Burberry Prep, start off as a spoiled rich boy with the ENTIRE world in his pocket. He was manipulative and over confident. So much so, that it definitely came off as egotistical and narcissistic. Now, he's lost all of his wealth and everything that made him the Tristan we came to know. He's still wayyyy too narcissistic and egotistical, but he is struggling with his identity in this book.

That is what I mean, though, about Stunich's ability to really mess with her characters in a natural way. He isn't changing his personality completely or becoming an instantly "good" person, just because he fell in love or because he's poor now and is relying on Windy to help him out. NOPE. DOUBLE BIG NOPE. He's still the complete a-hole we fell in love with since the beginning. It just wouldn't be the same otherwise. That is the beauty of books and truly good writing. Characters are more than just words on a page. Settings are more than just images being described to our minds. Nothing is ever just black and white. No there is flow. There is a push and a pull to the characters, building this roaring sea that builds in a reader's mind of information, imagination, and ingenuity.

Overall Impression

Basically. I LOVED this book. It was funny, it was sad, and it was heartfelt. There is not one part of this book that I didn't swoon or laugh at. I may have even cried...just a little. I loved the guys...ALL OF THEM. Even the a-hole ones. They bring their own little joy to the party even if they aren't the epitome of "good" dudes. They add the salt to the waves. (Sorry for all the beachy references, guess I miss the ocean. :)) So, if you're wondering if you should read it, PLEASE DO! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day of reading!

Fave Lines from the book:

"Once, Tristan asked me if I had a bathroom in my house; I told him we regular folk only had outhouses. He believed me." (SEEE what I mean. Just plain hilarious!)

"He's holding a cup of coffee in one hand and checking his phone with the other." (This scene! I love that it was the introduction of TRISTAN and CHURCH at the same freaking time. It was like the perfect mesh because they both have this untouchable yet really overintelligent vibe. They also are the most leaderlike characters in both groups.)

"When I said, Yeah, go ahead and wait outside, I didn't mean walk three blocks down and leave me at the hotel with Ranger." (XD)

"The longer the guys and I work as a unit, the more I realize something: I am the pet, and they take care of me. They give me food and make me eat; they carry things for me; they brush my hair and buy me clothes. And I love it. I do." (I dunno I thought this was super cute because the guys do really take good care of Charlotte and I thought this was a great line that represented that. lol)

I really wanted to read this book, it makes me one of a kind.

Without a doubt I LOVED the way they two know each other and the way they accept each other

I love the union of Chuck's boys and how they evolve and grow together as a unit, with their ups and downs but always together, understanding each other, respecting each other.I was fascinated by every individual moment the five of them had with Chuck, how each moment as a couple didn't obscure the moments when the five of them could be together.
Chuck is undoubtedly super lucky just like them to have found each other.
I LOVE CHUCK'S FAMILY HAHA. Chuck's drunken dad's rations are priceless. It fascinates me to see that union and team, they were just made for each other and that's the best. Without a doubt Church surprised me and I loved him much more now.
To the queen of the Harem, as she herself would say, I LOVE AND RESPECT HER AND I WANT HER TO TEACH ME HAHAHA.

NOW...
MARNYE'S HAREM...
It hurted me. It just hurt me.
I loved Windy and Creed impressively but honestly they disappointed me all, Tristan and Windy especially, it's not fair, I don't care why they did it. AGAIN HE WAS PLAYING WITH HIS LIFE and I can't stand that.

I hate to see everyone's rivalry, it's painful to see how everyone is so jealous of each other and see how they hurt her in the process. When Marnye saw Charlie without a doubt my heart ached to think how what she yearns for so much was in front of her and when she looked around there were only breaks and oroblem I understand that in the other books it can be fixed... but I don't like to see it like that. The only way I can describe Marnye in this is OFF, they're taking the light out of her 🥺

My only logical solution would be for her to separate from them in the future, for them to learn how much they hurt her for not being a respectful unit, and they return because they will always be hers and she theirs. I need to see her happy, on fire and with a smile, not worrying if one day she's going to wake up and one or all of them are just going to leave.

I loved their individual moments but HATED that even in those moments they couldn't help but say that they wanted her for nothing more than themselves. I'm sorry, but they don't seem to get it yet.

And like Marnye said. Chuck's boys are pieces of a puzzle that ultimately just fell into place and her and her boys are broken pieces that need to be mended to put them back together, but I hope Do not harm her in the process, she deserves much more

I will have faith in them for their next evolution

This book was everything that I hoped for and more. A crossover between two of my series ever Adamson All-Boys Academy and Rich Boys of Burberry Prep

Seeing these characters again brought back so many amazing feelings. It was healing in a way to read about them again. They were the characters I turned to on those dark days and they helped me again through more dark days.

This book brought tears to my eyes seeing Charlotte get her happily ever after and I’m excited to see what CM Stunich has in store for Maryne

This book gets 4 stars from me and if you haven’t already go and read a book by CM Stunich, she is brilliant

4.5 stars. I absolutely love Chuck and her guys. The banter between them and how down to earth she is? Really enjoyed it. This is one reverse harem that I actually don't mind because each guy seems to fill a role and they all get along with one another so well. I think Ranger and Church are my favorites though.
Marnye and her guys? Unfortunately, not as much. I just didn't really connect with the guys very much. Zach is about the only one I really care for right now tbh. I like Marnye, and I really felt for her and her grief from losing Charlie, but personality-wise, I just really prefer Charlotte.

FOREVER YES...BURBERRY NO

Looked forward to this book for a long time. And I loved the Forever Crew's side of it. I'm not sure I will tune back in for what is to be, if history tells me anything, another 3 books at least with Bornestead Boys. If these guys don't have it even quasi-together after what, 6yrs?, then there is no plausible HEA. The only hope is for her go the realistic route and start schucking off some of the harem boys. Tris and Creed are not capable of being polyamorous. Don't blow smoke up our chimneys and write that story.

C.M. has clearly a favorite group and it's not the same as mine.
She gave this whole fairytale to charlotte and the boys, they barely had any "pranks", they have cute scenes, sex scenes, just things you would want to read in a sort of epilogue, but marnye and her boys just.... wtf? there was this tension the whole book between her and the boys, her and miranda, the boys with eachother, AND by the end of the book there's something wrong with creed but we don't know what it is, tristan has something going on as well but it's just brought it up in a really vague way, and so on and on. And I'm not even bringing up how she got so focused on the detective thing to try to cope with her father's death and the boys just... it felt like they didn't care enough to try to help her other ways.
The burberry part it felt more like a chapter of a on going book than an "epilogue", I thought that at some point this tension would resolve, the boys acting as if they're just waiting for her to chose one would stop, but no.
And i mean, if you're going to make it "easy" for one group and not for the other, then what makes sense is more time writing about the one who's falling apart but nop, that's not what's happening here
Honestly, to me it felt like marnye and her boys are not gonna last, she probably will end up with one or two but not the whole group (which was NOT what i was looking for when I started the book and i rather i just didn't read it at all tbh) but chuck will live an HEA which is cool, but it would be so much better if it ended on a happy note for the both of them, not one having an orgy and the other hugging one of her boyfriend while he doesn't tell her why he's so upset

it's gonna be a no for me, I'll just pretend that this book was all about chuck and the boys and marnye just bumped into her the first day but they never saw each other again and marnye is leaving happily ever after

This book was perfect. I loved the ending of the story of Chuck and the boys. I love that they always presented themselves as a unit, they never bothered Charlotte with her arguments or problems. On the contrary, they always presented a united front to make Chuck happy and look out for his community. The wedding could not have been more perfect.

And for Marnye I just hope she has something like Chuck and her boys. I feel bad for her and all the problems that group has. They have a long way to go and I hope with all my heart that they get on their feet and learn to work together. I have a feeling that Bornstead U series is going to be full of complications for all of them, but I hope that in the end it will be worth it and they will manage to work as a team as Church, Spence, Tobias, Micah and Ranger.

Rating is mostly just for Chuck and her guys, loved their chapters so much. I know the point was to highlight how their harmen is in-sync with each other but Marnye’s isn’t yet and I get that, but it was almost to much of a stark comparison. Putting them side by side like this made me not really want to read Marnye’s chapters because we would go from the sweetness of Chuck, to the tension and angst of Marnye. And I just personally didn’t enjoy that. Maybe they would have worked better as two separate books with no shared POV.

So sweet

I loved getting to see Chuck and her boys get their happy ending. It was sweet, funny, and very much forever crew.
Mar and her boys tho..... Tristan was extra Tristen. Windy was toeing the line of going dark. Creed has some feelings going on there. Honestly I'm worried about where they are all headed and I can't wait to read about it. Zack better stay away from that coach's daughter! Zayd was a good boy so he's the only one that doesn't have me worried.

**Contains Spoilers***

It was really hard for me to rate this book. For half of it, I wanted to give it 5 stars - LOVE it. But then there's the other half; which I wanted to give 2 stars. I adored Charlotte Carsons' story. The guys from Adamson-All Boys Academy have always had and kept my heart safe. Everything about their story kept me hooked, hopeful, and feeling 'happy' ;) I want to live her college life <3

The complete opposite of Marnye Reeds' story. The Rich Boys of Burberry Prep just kept letting me down. I found myself dreading when I would end a Charlotte Chapter and find myself at a Marnye one.
I already had issues with a few of them. (Mostly Zack.) By the end of this my entire perspective of my favorite character, Windsor, has been flipped around. I am so disappointed in him, Tristan, and Marnye, that I just don't care if they make it or not.
Actually, it makes me feel a little sorry for Marnye, because at the end I feel her desperate need to make all 5 of the guys stay with her is just sad. Those boys together are becoming (more) toxic to each other. Them picking on him so much has trashed any confidence Tristan may have had. The competition to have only her has made Windsor into a psychopath. Seems like he's all oozing charm one second and back-handed manipulative the next. I know his character has always been dark, but it seems like he's headed down a more dangerous path trying to get Marnye to himself.
I don't feel like Creed has matured at all. I know it's only been a few months since all the stuff went down from senior year. But that should have pushed him into some progress.
Tristan is no longer the strong backbone of the group. He's seriously falling apart.
Zayd just seems clueless. And Zack can swear she's it for him all he wants, I am not buying it. Plus, his future dreams are not cohesive to hers at all.
Honestly, I just don't see any of them making it. And I think she would be better off walking away from all of them. Not for her sake alone, but for theirs too. They do not have the bond that the Adamson Boys have. And seeing her trying to force the issue just makes me feel sad and annoyed.
Plus, the grief over her dad has her too messed up to make these choices right now. Probably why she's acting so desperate.
I get from all the other books she's strong. Not a quitter, even when it would be ok to be one. I don't doubt her tenacity at all. But I would hope that if she wasn't clouded by loss and loneliness that she would clearly see that Tristan and Windsors actions with the Infinity Club was a huge NO-NO. They almost got killed by those people and they seriously are going back there and placing bets?!
It is NOT for Marnyes protection. That's crap. Tristan goes because he's addicted to power and wealth and can't stand to be without it. And Windsor goes for the power he feels there. Especially over Tristan, whom he knows has more of Marnye than any of the others. Tristans broken-boy persona is like catnip to Marnyes must-fix personality.
UGH! I just am so upset at how this turned out. And worse, it's left open! Goddess knows when we will get a follow-up!!!???

Really got pissed off so bad like mind you I'm still gonna tap into bornstead u because marnye my sister but fuck this book fr 😭
Like WOAH why is marnye SO unhappy in this book? I know I said I like Charlotte's boys more than Maryne's boys but I love marnye more than Charlotte because she's lovely and sweet while chuck is so unserious. Like why did she kept making digs about Miranda being a lesbian? She's so weird.
Church being nasty to Tristan ouuu when I catch you I don't like marnye's boys that much but I'll go to war for creed, Tristan and Miranda.
Also Creed Cabot I know what you are you literally lgbt like your sister cabot twins the best characters it's true.
What was the point of introducing Rome 😭 I swear if he being used as plot device I'm gonna be mad because what is the moc being used as plot device???
Infinity club business being back...oh I need a cig
The whole seojoon-shi business...PLEASE BE SERIOUS
Also I hope Miranda and Monica end up together and I hope Maryne and her boys get married and have KIDS by the end of the series.
Anyways I loved seeing everyone again 😭 bornstead u in a week or two so I'm prepared

I loved Burberry Prep, and enjoyed Adamson Academy, so I was really looking forward to Orientation.

Spoilers ahead...

With this being a crossover novel, you really got to see the differences in the group dynamics.
Charlotte and her boys were a loving poly group with an HEA.
Marnye on the other hand seems doomed. She may be in love with all the boys, and them with her, but I don't see a way for their 6 person group to work. The boys can't stand each other, which makes it hard for her to be around them all. On top of that they still keep things from her, or do not feel confident in themselves and their individual relationships with her. Until they grow and get over the past there is no future.

As far as the plot to this book, the hazing and accident were a good start, but then the things that were thrown at them seemed to all just be brushed off. Nothing was serious, there really wasn't any suspense to it. I also felt like the infinity club thing at the end was just thrown in there as an after thought.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the book, it just wasn't on the same level as the original series.

This crossover was everything I hoped it would be. Marnye & Charlotte aka Chuck meeting again was priceless. No big surprise that trouble would follow Marnye & Chuck. I love the guys interaction so much. Both groups are completely different and I know they all want too be together but my heart hurts for Marnye because I really want her too have what Chuck has. I know the guys love her but can they really stay together forever? I missed every character and was so happy that their was a crossover. Truly an amazing read that I didn’t want too put down.

Burberry Adamson Come together!

What a book! After waiting for it I had to savor it slowly rereading passages as I savored it like a delicious cupcake! Chuck and her guys are goals! A family unit that Marnyes guys really need to emulate! One a cohesive unit the others a dis functional mess. Finally getting more of Windsor is a dream I don’t care if said dream is kinda grey lol. Seeing Tristan having to cope with not being powerful was an eye opener so real. Thank you CM for this! I loved every single moment!

Yaas i have waited for this book since stunich told us readers that she would do a crossover with the adamson and burberry prep series i was so happy! And i finally have read it, it made me even more excited for Bornstead U with Marney and her guys. I feel like their relationship is very rucky and they are still in the beginning trying to settle down and come to terms with not having their girl alone , obviously
Happy to see more of chuck aka charlotte and her guys, hopefully we will se them in Bornstead U also

I have been waiting a year for this book and I wasn't at all disappointed. This story was told from both Marnye's and Charlotte's POV. It's orientation at Bornstead University and after a prank gone wrong they find themselves trying to solve the mystery behind a girl's death. Marnye's using the case as a distraction away from her grief and fears about the future of her relationship with the guys who seem to merely tolerate each other. Charlotte and her guys are determined to stay out of the drama since they're busy wedding planning. Yaas, my girl got married!

There's a strange rule that freshmen aren't allowed to date each other and anyone breaking the rule is asking to be hazed. With Marnye and Charlotte each dating five guys, they're the main target for all manner of pranks. One prank in particular got dangerous and Charlotte's guys responded viciously. No one touches their Chuck and gets away with it. Loved the way they took care of the pranksters and kept Charlotte safe. Loved that each guy got their steamy alone time with Chuck and the orgy was also smoking. I think I loved her POV more than Marnye's since her relationship with the guys were on more solid ground. It solidified why the group worked so well together. They were all best friends and brothers before she came along so it made sense to share. They fit so well and I loved watching them get their HEA. The drama with drunk Archie was lol funny. Especially the scene with Charlotte's and Church's moms at the wedding.

Marnye on the other hand was still wrapped in the grief of losing her father, dealing with her shitty egg-donor and the boys being at each other's throats wanting her to choose between them. I wasn't invested in finding out what happened to Tory. I wanted Marnye to be honest with herself and the guys about what she was feeling. She spent so much time worrying and overthinking that it got tedious. The ending was set up for a series featuring her and the guys. Definitely curious to see how she manages to get them to agree to be her harem. Also super curious about Rome and his interest in Marnye. I can smell the drama coming. Bornstead U series when?

I want to first say that I enjoyed this novel, but to me, it felt incomplete regarding Marnye's story. It felt like this book centered mostly around Charlotte rather than Marnye and Charlotte equally. I also felt like it was a tad bit rushed, like things were a bit shoved together. But, again, this may be just me, but I didn't feel satisfied with how Marnye's story ended; it felt like it lacked something.

Reading about the group's adventures at Bornstead University would have been a great series. Maybe had this been a series rather than one book, it would have felt complete. Perhaps we could have even had them trying to take down the Infinity Club or another secret society within the university. I am not hating on the plot; I just wanted a bit more? If that makes sense.

I like both sets of Harems in this one, but again, it seemed that there was more focus on one than both. It didn't feel like it was both Marnye's and Charlotte's story; it felt like it was Charlotte's story, and Marnye was just along for the ride. Which would have been perfect had this been a series or even a duet rather than just one book.

I did enjoy it, and I could say more, but I don't give spoilers, regardless of the Spoiler option. I just expected more; that's why I am giving it 3.8 stars.

Anxiously awaiting Burberry #6 (Rich Boys of Bornstead U). This background tension building between Creed and Tristan has me hooked!
Loved Chuck and her packer penis adventures! So creative and deliciously dirty!
The drag of Marnye and her greif/unfunctional harem ruin a lot of the story flow. Both girls are also described as big readers, but they literally never pick up a book.
The shoehorned hate of social norms/patchriarchy/ male phrases is frustrating, distracting, rant like, and not pertinent to the storyline.

Not as good as each separate series BUT....

You have to give the author props for keeping all the characters straight.

It was a good book and I look forward to more from this author. The books have become a standard RH read, it is on the list of every recommendation list in book groups. Both series at that.

I look forward to Tristan and Wind figuring out that they are going to have to play nice together.
