Jase is FINALLY here and we're thrown back into the CTTD world. Like the books before it, Jase delves into a dark world. I liked the way this book dives into the part of trafficking we don't hear about in the media much. It's hard to describe without spoiling anything so that's all I'll say about that. This book gets dark and graphic however not so graphic it's hard to read. It does get close to that line.
Jase is a fast paced, dark romance, page turner. There a sexy build up of his relationship with our heroine who grows stronger as the pages turn. The nightmare she lives through is astonishing. Jase, the hero, is super sexy and a dark knight in shiny armor. There is also a cameo of a character from previous books. I love when that happens. I love the twins whom are Jase's colleagues and am anticipating seeing them getting their own book in the future. Maybe? Please?!

Jase is the 5 th instalment in the Captive to the Sark series and Alaska has nailed the dark romance to perfection.
I was so excited that she dived back into this series and this book has just enough darkness, intrigue, suspense and romance. Jase is the perfect Hero and Kody is a strong and independent heroine. I loved the cameo appearances of a couple of characters Fromm previous books.
This story ties in well with the series in which each book is a standalone

This is the 5th book in Captive to the dark series. This series is by far my favorite from Alaska and I was so happy to see she wrote another book. Just enough dark romance for me. Definitely would recommend

A fantastic story that I throughly enjoyed reading.. 🤓
I’ve read all the Captive to the Dark series and was so happy another one was on its way! Jase, wow. Yes it definitely starts out dark. The horror of it really touches you. But as you read you become so invested with these two main characters that you find yourself pulling for them. To hope that the darkness they both feel will lead to a new light for them both. I’ve been Captive to the Dark and hope more stories follow. Amazing story..Amazing writing. ❤️

FINALLY!!!!! YES! The long awaited Jase is finally here...
This man has kept us on edge for so long. Let me just say that he was well worth the wait!
It was so great to be back in this world again. As the details of this 6th installment in the series approached I actually went back and reread the entire series. I almost forgot how much I missed them all. (Almost) lol The Captive men will forever stay with you and when we got a little sneak peek of G in this one I was squealing like a little pig. Followed closely by the anxiety riddled muttering of "NO ONE CAN DIE!"
This series is action-packed and Jase (like so many before him) has found himself in a dangerous situation.. This book is full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat and your heart in your throat. I loved the FMC in this one and I can't wait to see what comes next. Fingers crossed it's some kind of mutual threat and ALL the girls are in danger. That would epic!

This book ended up pleasantly surprising me. It definitely wasn't quite what I was expecting.
Although the first 70% was good, it kept losing my attention (may just be the head space I'm in).
But then when all hell broke loose, I couldn't stop turning the pages fast enough, I actually had to force myself to put it down to finish in the morning.
These beautifully broken warriors will inspire you, what they went through both together and apart is unimaginable.
The author has handled the subject matter with grace and dignity.

OMG!!!!! I love everything I read from Alaska. She has a style of writing that makes me truly want to live in the settings created. Kody and Jase are explosive. Jase a damaged Vet and media Mogul is haunted by the demons of his past. Kody an innocent girl snatched off the streets on her way home from work. Jase stumbles across her torture site of her capture and decides that he could possibly save her and put some of his past demons to rest…In the process of saving Kody he unknowingly puts both his and her friends and family in harms way. How will this story end? Read and find out.

I am so glad Alaska is back and we are in the CTTD world again.
Kody is kidnapped off the street on her way home from work. She is then tortured, with the viewing audience bidding on what happens. Jace is a computer mogul with his own demon's stumbles upon the web site. Once he realizes it's not a fake show, well that is when the fun starts.
This book is fast passed, action packed and kept me on my toes till the end.
Yes this is a dark book, but so good. There is a warning for good reason.

Alaska Angelini is back! I loved loved loved Jase, and read thru it so quickly because I couldn't put it down. And as much as I enjoyed her other work, Jase brought me back to old school AA and I didn't know I needed that in my life.
You need to read this book, especially if you're in a slump like I was, because it'll break it for sure.
