The third book in The Deceit of Riches Series, V M Karren's historical thriller saga, October Revelations, reunites characters from the first two books in order to expose past crimes that have jeopardized the Russian nation, hold the corrupt accountable, and intercept horrific schemes. A fast-paced, mind-bending chase, this novel will raise your adrenaline levels!
Since 1992 my travels around this wonderful world of ours have been my inspiration for my stories in letters, journal entries, around campfires, in short story form and in novels.
One story flows into another. One experience builds on the other, events tie us to each other in countless ways. Perspectives shift and come full circle.
After twenty-five years of gathering material, the time has now come to tell my stories to you. I hope you enjoy them. Follow along, step by grueling step, rejection letter by rejection letter and help me tell my story to the world.
This was such a fun trilogy and this last book did not disappoint! Peter Turner and other familiar characters are back for more twists and turns. Its fast-paced and nonstop adventures make for a fun read, set against the backdrop of Russia and other European countries. As always, the author sprinkles cultural and historical tidbits throughout that make me want to learn more and more about the places where his stories take place. A great trilogy!
Complex, fast-paced, with Karren’s trademark 5-star imagery. This is the third book in the Deceit of Riches trilogy and it was fun to see old friends in action again and to put unfinished business to bed. Great wrap up.
This series is unique in the time and place of its setting. The collapse of the USSR and the messy aftermath weren’t covered in my schooling so this has been a very entertaining way to fill in the gaps about a topic that is still shaping our world today.
