Ahhh, I’m closer to Wes and his story now! Okay, that outburst is done. Now back to Jaime and Kade. While they meet in, shall we say unconventional and inconvenient, circumstances, their connection is all too clearly seen from jump. So when Kade’s team comes for him and takes Jaime also, they may all be getting into something much bigger than anyone expected. And now we have Jaime trying to keep Kade and his team safe while Kade and his team try to keep her safe, a mystery man we’ve spent some time with before who may very well have some explaining to do, an increasingly unstable weak link, and some added worries about who is truly pulling the strings.
I loved the fast pace of this story, as well as how Jaime and Kade attempted maturity once they got over their initial annoyance and feelings of betrayal (more one than the other). And the fact that Kade was willing to slap down even his best friend when he thought that Jaime was being disparaged was even more enjoyable. Because these men and women are a team and a family, so some squabbles are expected. It’s all in how they move past any disagreements that keeps me coming back for more. And, y’know, the HEA for our couples and the added questions about what’s coming next!

"Jaime’s Vengeance" is the fifth book in the Charlie Team series. The series features a dedicated group of alpha men who work for a protection security team. Their mission is to protect those in need and eliminate those who pose a threat. Each member is described as sexy, with a hotness factor over 10, and they have a soft side that emerges when they meet the one woman who could change their womanizing ways. I'm completely hooked on this series and the characters with their banter and sarcasm. The mix of action, danger, fun, and laughter has me fully engaged. I've discovered a new author whose books I can't wait to read more of.

Kade was probably one of the characters I most looked forward too, besides Wes. He just had that cocky, playboy vibe that made you smile. I think Jamie was definitely his match. I almost wished she was maybe a little more badass, but I think the Bravo team series will fulfill that desire. I do like that she will be involved in the foundation Wes and Trista set up. I hope with Wes’s book that the serious topic of Sex trafficking is front and center and each and every person who was effected in each book gets their victory over the villains. I sometimes think the timelines of couples falling in love is a bit too soon. I do like the love at first site storyline, but it’s a bit excessive in this series. I like that Bentley is taking his time and savoring his romance a bit. I definitely recommend this series though. It’s has been enjoyable and the author has made us love their boss Wes to the point it’s been hard to wait on his book. Kade’s book was fun and it was fun to read another One of Team Charlie go down!

"Jaime's Vengeance" is book #5 in the Charlie Team series; this book is Jaime and Kade's story. Kade is the "last remaining bachelor"; while his teammates found their significant others, he has yet to find his "partner in crime". Kade doesn't mind the single life, however, seeing his friends' happiness (even though he doesn't like to admit it) made him realize that he wants to settle down. Jaime is on a path of destruction, and she has one thing on her mind: vengeance. And unfortunately, indirectly, Kade is a part of her plan.
I love how the book title of Elizabella's work plays a major role in her novels tying into the story so well. I enjoyed the pace of this novel; from the very first page, it was action-packed, and this pace continued on throughout the book. A combination of forced proximity/stuck together, romantic suspense and action. And as always, I loved the team's friendly banter! And Wes!! Ahh... I'm so curious about the big grumpy teddy bear boss; I'm dying to know his backstory! And I cannot wait to read his book!

Just like the colour of her hair colour, Jaime is a feisty, independent and sassy red headed female MC. And like a moth to a flame, Kade loves the way she burns, unable to stay away despite getting burned. They did hit it off on their first encounter, but afterwards, it sort of went downhill. Kade was kidnapped, and Jaime was one of the people behind his kidnapping. Kade shouldn't be attracted to her; Jaime challenged him in so many ways. The feeling is mutual; it's not one-sided. For years, Jaime has been carefully setting her plan, and with Kade coming into the picture, she's about the risk of all the progress she made so far. And somehow, they both managed to break down each others' defences. Jaime's plan intertwines with Kade's team's mission: they have a common enemy they want to bring down.

Woah. Just woah. Jaime's Vengeance was... interesting, to say the least (in a good way, of course). The idea of the "eternal bachelor" (Kade) finding love is intriguing in itself, but finding love with the woman who kidnapped him (Jaime) brought it to a whole other level.
The words "kidnapping," "loss," "vengeance," and "love" don't exactly sound like they could make a cohesive book, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It was full of steam, sass, suspense, and plot twists. Just when you think you know though to guess what's going to happen next, you get there and find that it's something totally different. It really keeps you on your toes, and I have zero shame in admitting that I finished this book in two sittings because I just couldn't put it down. 😂
Overall, this was exactly what I expected it to be: incredible. It was an excellent addition to the series, and I'd definitely recommend it (you might be better off starting from the beginning, but you don't have to). I'm super excited to see what happens in Wes's book, Westley! 😁

This book is the latest in the Charlie Team series by Elizabella Baker. This book features Kade. He is the last of the team to be a bachelor. He is in no hurry to find a match.
Kade works for Wes as part of Charlie team he is the pilot and also a sharp shooter. He finds himself in an interesting situation after a night of sitting at his favorite bar alone. He spotted a pretty redhead (not his type) and started talking to her. The next thing he remembers he is in a warehouse with his arms tied above his head and he can barely touch the ground. Kade has been taken hostage! How did this happen and where is he? Who was that woman and was she the one that did this to me?
Jamie has her own secrets and she doesn’t trust anyone easily. She is desperately trying to find the man responsible for her sister’s death. Her teenage sister was killed in an alley while trying to find Jaime. She wants to make him pay.
This book is a lot of fun and games but some serious business, too!

Jaime’s name is distracting
Jaime is supposed to be from Dublin. Her sister was named Aileen. Aileen I’d an Irish name but I haven’t found yet that Jaime is an Irish girl’s name. I saw that Jaime is a Scottish boy’s name. I see where Jaime is a Spanish boy’s name and a Portuguese boy’s name. And I kept mentally pronouncing it as the Spanish boy’s name is pronounced.
This was majorly distracting through the entire story. It took a lot away from the story for me.
I disliked it all quite a bit.

🍁 I really enjoyed this book. I was really excited to begin this and I must confess to finishing in only two sittings!
🍁 It is rather amusing reading the shenanigans these characters get up too... always keeping each other on their toes! And then their gruff and grumpy boss... it is really lots of fun!!
🍁 "Jaime's Vengeance" is fifth in the series, but is also a standalone novel. However, the fun and excitement is so much better when you are well acquainted with all the characters!
🍁 The slightly startling beginning to this adventure sees us encountering old friends! From prior interactions with Kade we know, like his teammates, it will take an extraordinarily capable partner to engage and keep his interest, and Jaime is certainly all of that! I love this fiercely determined girl!!
🍁 I hope you are ready for this journey because this is a fast-paced, suspense-filled read, and you will need to hold on for the ride! You won't want to put the book down so try to start reading in the morning, not the afternoon! I laughed, I giggled, and I cried! So hold your tissue box handy.

Elizabella Baker writes amazing characters..great storylines and I cannot wait to read the next series Bravo team..Kade and Jaime meet in very unusual circumstance, despite the attraction they both feel neither trusts the other, Add in Wades team and his boss Wes and the fun really begins!

An excellent read and addition to the series. Jaime and Kade have a story to tell. It's filled with action, suspense, twists and turns. You'll be glued to the pages, not wanting to put it down till the very end. This book took me by surprise with how it all went down and came together. I absolutely loved every bit of the story.

Such a wonderful series so far. Can't wait to read #6 and Wesley's story. I mistakenly read Bravo Team first because I mean B does come before C in the alphabet but boy was I surprised. I recommend this to anyone that likes suspenseful romantic private sector guys and gals who are military grade A.

This story will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. Jamie is on a mission to find out who killed her sister. She's done things she's not proud of, but she's determined. Kade was drugged then kidnapped. I don't think she realized what the men would do to him. Danger, plenty of heat, suspense and HEA.

Wow! This entire serie is amazing! I read book 1-5 in less than one week. This time is Kade’s opportunity to fall in Love!!! Wes is still an enigma (can’t wait for his book in February). The action is awesome, the romance magnificent, I love all the Charlie Team boys and their woman! Elizabella manage perfectly combined action, vengeance, love, romance and steamy all in the perfect amount and in harmony.

Another amazing book. While Jaime and Kade's HEA happened it's only making me want to know the subplot of these books. Who is this King? That being said, the story progressed so well. Can't wait for the next one.

This book is loaded with suspense, action and intrigue. Some secrets are revealed. Jaime and Kade are perfect for each other. Neither could handle a meek and boring person. The storyline has a rich character development. I really enjoyed this book.

Although….. 🤔 I’m hoping to still see the Charlie Team around…. I mean… the turn of events and the ending…. We can’t possibly have seen the last of them, right?
As I read the story I was trying to figuring out who was behind it all!!! I got some right and other things just blew my mind!!! 🤯

Although Jaime and Kade met under unusual circumstances, they have an immediate connection but Jaime's need for vengeance overrides the feelings she has for Kade. When she is kidnapped and faced with possible death, she realizes that the need for vengeance may have cost her, her happily ever after.
This was a fantastic book!!! I can't wait to read Wes's story because it's going to be a doozy!!

So so good. As always Elizabella killed it. Charlie team is getting closer to taking down the head of the trafficking operation they, and bravo team have been after. Jamie took Kade by storm, not only literally kidnapping him, but also stealing his heart. I love how well Elizabella leaves it open for the next book, and also how well she ties the series together. I can't wait to find out what happens next in this crazy world.
