Forever Protected

Seriously, Ms. Brooks ...
Can your writing ever get even more better...(how's that for a mouthful?). Obviously, based on this installment of Forever Bluegrass, it gets better with every novel you write!
Parker and Tilly finally get their story! Yeah!
You blew me away! It started so sad, and seriously, then boom, Parker's had enough. Enough of doing the right thing, a Federal Prosecutor with concerns about convictions vs truth, and staying away from Tilly because he chose the job he did...
And Tilly, she has her world blown away, but suddenly realizes Parker doesn't hate her, and hope certainly exists.
From here folks, I honest to goodness never stopped laughing! Ms. Brooks I laughed so hard during "Family Dinner" my throat hurts. It never got better.
Every novel in this series from the verrrrrry beginning has been a hoot, but filled with suspense, twists, crazy chaos, and immense family and township love! However, I do believe, you have exceeded your best Ms. Brooks, once the insanity began. It never ended!
I was hysterical till the end!

What can I say....
Another great escape to the South! I have enjoyed every book from Ms. Brooks, and this one didn't disappoint. Parker and Tilly are too cute! The pace was fast, but the thing about a fast paced book is that it can be enjoyed again and again.
What I love about this series is that the characters are so well developed that as each book just takes you to to a happy place with people you wished existed. Too many swoon worthy to count in my opinion., but that is just me (I guess). From the quirkiness of the townsfolk to the bursts of action and drama... I guarantee you will find enjoyment in every book from this author.
While most books can be read as a standalone, it is far more beneficial to read the books in order, starting with "A Bluegrass State of Mind". Be aware that there are other series by this author, just as enjoyable, and do happen to crossover from one another, as well as build the character base to this series.
A well deserved 5 star rating without offering spoilers.....

🍎 Apple pies galore 😉....(if ya know, ya know) ❤❤❤
Absolutely LOVED this trip to Keeneston!! There are oh so many apple pies popping up in this book hehehe....even to people you'd never ever suspect! Grandma Marcy how on earth do you do it 😆?! Get ready for the classic Keeneston hijinx, family, action galore, intrigue, humor, and of course romance. I just can't get enough of this series!!! The characters fast grab hold of your heart, and Keeneston itself is also a much beloved character at this point. So buckle up for this epic adventure, and get ready for lots of fun and the occasional humvee driving PTA mother that will run over a bad guy to save the town 😉. Welcome to Keeneston y'all!

'Cousins and siblings. Gotta love them, can't kill them'
Parker is very tempted to kill or at least maim his family members as they all flirt outrageously with Tilly, his woman...the one he cannot claim whilst she is the center of his investigation. He knows she is his soul mate, his one but he needs to keep her safe and prove her innocence before he allows his possessive Alpha to claim her. He is very sexy as he defends and protects, especially when Landon offers her his briskett! I thought Parker was going to shoot him on the spot!
Tilly is very frustrated and confused, for months Parker runs hot and cold and then he arrests her....with real handcuffs! The blows keep coming for Tilly but she never lets it defeat her, she absorbs the information, straightens her spine and allows her British stiff upper lip to take over. Heart Stopping
Omg omg omg it was so worth the wait, it was amazing. So many teases for up coming books I needed them answered right now. But alas I will have to wait till the next few. Parker and Tilly were just perfect for each other and the town banter is still the best part of the book I lost count the amount of times I went to reread a few lines just because they were that good.

This is the best of the best. It has me laughing out loud and getting teary at the same time. The Rose Sister and their weapons, Ahmed with his stealth toys, The Davies brothers and let's not forget Grandma Marcy and her pies and some other secret weapons we didn't know she had. Tilly and Parker's story kept me sighing and laughing. I mean what could go wrong when they were hiding out in Parker's cabin... I don't want to give any spoilers, but OMG you are going to need to hold on to your sides when family and friends come to visit.
I can't wait for the next Forever Bluegrass books...

A perfect book
Kathleen has done it again with the perfect Keeneston book. To get to visit with all of the people who make up the town with a variety of people from young to old who will always have their friends, family and the new people who come to town under their protection. I loved it and can't wait until the next book arrives.

Kathleen Brooks has done it again, another excellent book. Very highly recommend this author. Loved Parker and Tillie's story. Can't wait for the next book. Excellent Read
Another great story it was not what I expected. Parker & Tillie are a great coup!. I'm also looking forward to discovering Poppy & Sunni and secret in the future. Perhaps it was because the story required it, but Wick HAS been to Keeneston. He was Aidens' best man in Forever Guarded. In this story, though it's the first time he is meeting Parker, and states he wasn't able to attend Aiden & Paper's wedding. Thanks for entertaining me. I'm looking forward to Landons' story.

I love the twists and turns Parker and Tilly have had, and the hints we got about them in Porter and Greer’s books. But I can honestly say I wasn’t prepared for it all! I love that Marcy was such an active role in this one with her apple pies and amazing spy work! There were so many Easter eggs in this book that just kept getting me excited for what’s coming next. Tilly really fit so well into the Davies family and the laughs that came with this book were just immaculate.

You get small town, light suspense, humor to balance the suspense so you aren't freaking out throughout the whole book. You get apple pies, s'mores, drones, spatulas, brooms, and even the royal member. You have a nosy town, gun fights, hand to hand combat, and spoons. Yes, spoons. Now go read it to figure out all of those little tidbits. :D It's AWESOME!!! Love love love Kathleen's books.

I love how Apple pie solves any problems no matter how big. I think I pulled a muscle at one point I cried with laughter. I pulled an all nighter as I could not put the book down. Loved the chemistry between Parker and Tilly. They banter and mischief they cause at the family dinner. So excited about the next book! Thank you Kathleen you are my favourite author EVER. 💜

Love takes a bumpy Road.
Tilly has always been attracted to Parker. But he knows something she doesn't, which results in him arresting her for possible criminal activities. Oh dear. Romance dead before it started? Hardly. But the road to true love is never easy. No spoilers, but a fast paced, action packed story. Plus a lot of apple pies!

I loved this book. It just seems
Kathleen just keeps getting better and better. I love a!l of them. And the episode with Pam's truck and a cow. It is a good quick read. You will enjoy

The Usual Excellent Forever Installment
The usual characters we love are starred in this book. Parker Davies and Follow Bradford are star crossed lovers. Anything that could get in the way of their love, is enjoyable here. Lots of excitement and romance.
