This is real life and I’m done playing the delicate lady, because wars are won by blood, sweat, and tears.
Ann’s father was murdered in cold blood. And now, she is hell-bent on vengeance, pushing everyone aside as she anxiously awaits her opportunity to strike and gain justice. However, when King Christian warns her of the inevitable consequences, she hesitates. Is she willing to give up everything to get revenge?
Is she strong enough to uncover the truth, to face all the hidden secrets shrouding her life?
Can she mend her broken wings and fly again?
If you loved books one and two in this series, you will love this tantalizing addition!
Brittany Putzer is an award winning author constantly turning to books to escape her dull suburban existence. She can be found most days, exploring new coffee houses and bookstores to pass the time. She craves caramel macchiatos, pumpkin spice goodies, and tall, dark, and fictional men (preferably in gray sweatpants). When she’s writing, her scribblings are dictated by her character’s persistent opinions and generous hearts (most of them anyway). If she’s not writing, she’s soaring through the pages of other fictional worlds. Because of this, she’s also a lady of the night court, a scribe with an alpha shadow daddy (she’s afraid of heights so the other quadrant wasn’t an option), and a mafia princess with a touch her and die king. Additionally, Brittany loves the excitement of book conventions, both as a writer and a reader, where she loves to build everlasting friendships and eat tons of nachos and margaritas.

Brittany did it again. Just when I think I know what is about to happen, she flips the script and sends me on a wild ride I wouldn't change for nothing. I can't wait to see how this story continues in book 4.
After following Ann’s journey for so long I was hoping she would come on top and have her happily ever after, but Putzer leaves you wondering.
The story is an intense ride for anyone who enjoys love triangles (or “love squares” as Ann herself jokes about) that leaves you wondering who will really capture her heart. I don’t typically read that kind of trope, so I struggled with the constant indecisiveness from Ann about who she wants to be with. I also was a bit disappointed that the mystery we were left with in book two was wrapped up pretty quickly in this one. I felt it was too easily solved, but the character’s grief throughout the story was well done. I felt Putzer painted a real picture of how someone in Ann’s position would mourn while trying to keep some kind of control on the world around her.
If you enjoy the love triangle trope, mystery, and suspense you’ll enjoy Molting, and the rest of the books in the Feathered Dream series!
Still dealing with a broken heart from book 2, but ready to see what happens. First, I love the cover to this book. Don't get me wrong I really love the cover to book 1 as well and book 2 just makes me so sad. I think I am off Team Ryan and just Team Ann. I know she is strong enough to handle what is coming, but even I would crack with all the turns in my life. I love all the her close friends and really wish they were mine. To have crew at your side while dealing with the feeling of revenge is so hard. My hard just cries for Ann and the joy she finds in nature and chickens. She touches all she meets in this world with love and compassion. I had all I could do to put this book down and adult. I love another reason to ignore the house just to turn one more page, one more chapter, and left me looking for Book 4 ^_^.
Wow this one was a wild roller coaster full of prince drama and plenty of action. And best of all snowball and her friends. This book full of funny, silly banter and love able characters.
This starts off with Ann being a slight bada$$ and training! I didn't see that coming. You can feel Ann's pain rolling off the pages. Oh my gosh Max... "Lard Butt" so funny but dang I knew I didn't like Max. I'm glad Ann was saved. Holy crap Ann and the g*n... finding out everything about Mary and Max is just mind blowing... Mary and Prince Ryan hurts... The choice for Queen Ahh!!! 🖤 Sam seems so sweet. Poor Ann can't catch a break. Oh wow... the verdict on Mary and Max.. I'm so happy Karen's babies are healthy! Holy crap the Black Rose and Max! Ryan and Ann!!! Oh my gosh!!! What an ending...
Once more, the author did a great transition between the stories to keep you moving along in their drama! But question: Is it a love square? IDK but I loved it! Couldn't get enough of the back and forth, the are they or aren't they! Perfect title
