I was given a copy of this book to review a couple of months ago. Having read Book 1 and eagerly awaiting book 2 (Thank you for NOT making us wait 5 years for a sequel!), I was impressed with the way the writer was able to develop the characters from the first to second book.
The story-telling is so masterful that it immerses you in the story. I especially enjoyed the way the writer added depth to the character by delving into his past experiences. The scenes set in Africa and the protagonist's experiences added a fascinating new dimension to the book. That, interspersed with the events of the present, makes for a book that's hard to put down.

If you're looking for a book to while away the time when bored, then don't pick up this book.

But, if you're looking for a book that is going to keep you on the edge of your seat with its masterful story-telling and plot twists, then you should start it today.

From the very first page, you're pulled into a world that feels vivid, dangerous, and incredibly real. The fight scenes are so gripping, the kind that make you hold on to your chair, unable to look away.
The storytelling is sharp, fast-paced, and surprisingly emotional.
One of the things I truly loved was how the author wove in experiences, languages, and cultural elements from around the world. It gives the story so much depth and richness, making it feel global. It's more than just a thrilling tale, it’s a beautifully crafted adventure that expands your view of what science fiction and Litrpg can be.

This series has been my first foray into the the LitRPG genre. Being a child of Africa, I was drawn into the historical references and colloquialism. The writing is beautiful and personal with vivid descriptions of the worlds, characters and conflicts. I couldn’t put it down, the series just grows in scope.
