She longs to win a place in her new community. He only wants to win her heart.
Kora competed as a professional athlete until a tragic injury ended her career. But the opportunity to adopt a baby and tame a wild frontier moon electrifies her adventurous spirit, and the moment she lays eyes on adorable baby Pax, she is convinced that everything in her life happened for a reason. But when the child’s maddeningly handsome guard tells her he’s staying with them for good, she starts to wonder what she’s gotten herself into.
Zyon is a brave Invicta dragon warrior, fully committed to protecting his tiny Imberian charge, no matter what. When the child’s adoptive mother sends the dragon inside him into a frenzy of desire, he’s not sure what to think. Surely a dragon can’t choose a Terran for his mate.
Kora is already worried about fitting in among the residents of the glamourous dome town of Cupola Cove. When Zyon makes a decision that causes tension within the community, the two find themselves back out on the dangerous ice plains in a race against time to make things right.
Will the big dragon prove himself to Kora? Or will they both be left out in the cold?
Join the Alien Adoption Agency for an amazing adventure on the brand-new moon of Atropos!
Another quick, feel good alien romance by Tasha Black! I've just loved the entire series. In this one we have Zyon, the grumpy dragon shifter paired with Kora, the ex-professional athlete turned adoptive mom ❤️. There's no denying that many of these stories run kind of similar, but I love how Tasha makes all the women in these stories completely different with different pasts and different life challenges. Well written super cute read with tons of chemistry and hot smexy - basically the perfect palette cleanser novel between heavy reads or if you're in the mood for something fun!
I don’t know how this author can keep this series so entertaining, but she does! This latest story centers around Kora, Zyon and baby Pax. They worked so well together while both being stubborn of course. This is a heartwarming story that all of the readers have come to expect from this fabulous author.
Simply wonderful read as a young woman leaves everything to adopt and raise a baby
I have read many of these books in this series and I have to say that I loved the characters and the story behind this simply wonderful book, I loved the interaction between Zyon and Kora who once had been a recognised athlete.
When she arrives, she cannot wait to see the baby she had agreed to bring up as her own child and to look after the piece of land and building where they will live as all of this is his heritage of the baby, any revenue will help to ensure that the baby has what it requires as and when to ensure that it has everything it needs.
Kora had been injured which had ended a career she had loved but she was determined that she could put herself to good use and help someone that was in need and she was also a fighter, up for a challenge and she wanted to find something she could both love and help and bring a life of love and a home to.
You will love this story the fact that Kora is unaware that she is the fated mate to the baby’s Invicta guard, Zyon is protective of both his ward and her and his dragon wants him to tell his mate that they are meant to be together.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
Her life as an athlete may have been halted by her bad knee, but nothing was stopping the thrill of motherhood. Little did she know that an added bonus was the gorgeous warrior protector who would be with them for 18 years. Another surprise was not so pleasant. An attack on their dangerous journey to their new domed home affects the whole community.
Zyon's decision about duty to protect the baby doesn't sit well with Kora and she heads out in the dangerous ice terrain to make things right. The land isn't the only danger. Finding her missing, Zyon admits his feelings for her are the mate bond. Will he find her and rescue her or will her stubbornness and strength put her in a precarious situation he can't fix?
Do they have a chance at accepting the mate draw and having a life together? Although she may not be wealthy in monetary ways, Zyon will learn just how rich in spirit she really is.
Each couple in this series is unique only the mate draw shows similarities. Strong, capable warrior dragon shifters, and surprisingly strong women each her own way. A winner with a couple I love and other wonderful characters, including a droid with feelings.
I have been reading these books one right after the other in this series. And this one is number nine. The alien adoption series is so good. This one is about Zyon and Kora. On her home world Kora was a major athlete, and that helped get her out of the poverty level. But after a severe knee injury that she did not have the money to get fixed she found one more way to escape her circumstances. She was going to be a mom to an alien baby. She was so excited she could not wait, she could a mom and this is an amazing opportunity. The big surprise was Zyon, an Invicta dragon warrior whose job it is to protect the child. Not only was he there for handing over the child, his job extended for 20 years. Zyon knew immediately that she was his mate, impossible, but there was no doubt about it. And she seem to have the same pull towards him. Now they had to make it across the dangerous landscape of the moon to make it to where they are going to live. Dangers are everywhere. This story is exciting, amazing, and the author did a fantastic job of being very descriptive of both the planet and the characters. I cannot wait to keep reading.
Ohh this was my favorite of this trilogy! Kora was fantastic. I loved her from the very first page. Her joy and determined spirit made this such a quick read. Zyon was the perfect combination of grumpy and stoic and sweet. His reluctance to embrace Kora’s dauntless spirit at first soon gave way to immense respect and love.
This book was the shortest of the three in this set, but it was so well paced. Nothing felt slow or too fast. It moved with ease and I’m almost sorry it’s over because I wanted to stay with this little family.
Baby Pax was adorable as all the babies are, but I love that he had a baby friend, in Cham, right away. In fact this might be the only book I can recall where the bonds of friendship were shown right away, I loved that. Seeing the communities all work as one is actually some of the best moments in these books- and in this one it came together very quickly. Such an adorable story!
Omg! I absolutely loved “ZYON: Alien Adoption Agency” and the 9th amazing, must read with romance and always a fresh new plot, relatable characters & clever dialogue ... Add in a smokin’ hot chemistry between the H/h, Zyon & Kora and yet the love of family with an adorable baby, gave me the HEA I always crave ;) ... Surprises and awesome attention-to-detail will send you on a trip to this other world, too :D ... I was hooked from page one & did not want to stop whenever real life got in my way :o lol .... Even tho I always volunteer to read this author’s books prior to the kindle release date, tho I have KU trial right now, and then I buy kindle books whenever I am able... So I can honestly recommend this & any book by Tasha Black, to adult fans of fiction. I can’t wait for more, but I always will wait, even if impatiently! ;) lol
Kora has the chance to adopt a baby after her career ended due to an injury. When she arrives on the moon to claim her child she discovers her child has an Invicta Dragon Warrior as a guard until he is an adult. During the trip from the landing area to their new home they are robbed but Zyon doesn't do anything to help as his duty is to the safety of the child. Once they reach their new home they hear how hard it will be to survive without the items that were being transported with them but were stolen. Kora decided to right the wrong and go after the thieves by herself. Zyon has to stop her before she gets herself killed, she is his mate even if she doesn't know it yet. I love this book, the characters are amazing, the story is original and it's a really good read. Tash Black does it again, I couldn't put it down.
As usual, the blurb gives you all the enticement you need to delve into this fated alien mate romance. The moon of Atropos is a beautiful but dangerous place and those who choose to settle there need a community to depend on. Kora has had her athletic career cut short by an injury, but the chance to adopt a baby has given her a new purpose. When bandits rob the postal freighter they are hitching a ride on, something valuable to her new community is taken. The domed enclosure where her new home is located is living on borrowed time and she is determined that she will fight to keep it safe and thriving. Now, if the annoying dragon warrior she is falling for would just cooperate and help her....
Glimpses of the other two Atroposian couples will make the ending of this one all the sweeter. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Great ending to the series...or is it, haha! I loved this storyline and how the world built throughout. I loved that Kora was such a strong and bada** woman. Zyon couldn't believe that he could be attracted to a Terran, but as they got to know each other he realized how strong and amazing she is. Little baby Pax what a cutie, especially at the end. This was a great read and it flowed really well, I read it in one bath! I loved how this one even brought all the couples back together and got rid of a problem for this world. I love her books and will keep reading, they are enjoyable escapes from the real world!
If you're looking for a fun, quick, quirky read with lots of great characters, some chuckles and a very satisfying HEA then this book is for you. The strength in this book is that it knows exactly what it is, and it's perfectly fine with that. This isn't great literature, but it is a fun and satisfying way to spend a couple of hours. That said, I really enjoyed the characters in this book, not only Zyon and Kora, but also the settlement. They are a great cast and each individually adds to the story. There's also a very satisfying Epilogue which included characters from the last couple of books in this series, as well.
They were rob while in the mail transport and the baby guard wouldn't help. After the welcome dinner and hearing the talk if the stolen package she took off the next day along with her trusty Droid they went after the package. He left the baby with new friends to go after her. He caught up to her and decided to help. Discovery that she was an athlete they made a plan. They gotten the stolen mail gone back home and found out the robbers we're blackmailing the town. He left and she and the town figured out a plan to save the town. While confronted the gang he brought his fellow guards to save the town.
Another captivating alien paranormal romance story. I love the detailed description of the dome environment and how the action grips from the start fueling my anticipation. Kora is a ball of fire and very independent, making Zyon perfect for her, he is smitten, protective but very patient with her. I think they make a great team, that they have great chemistry but love that they take the time to figure things out. Great story! I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to read and leave a review.
Kora has come to this out of the way hos hostel plant to receive her adopted baby she didn’t know she would get his big guard to but it turns out the guard is more he’s her mate. They will travel to their new home in a glass dome because the surface is very unpredictable. But before they get there the mail train they are on gets robbed of some very important fertilizer to help grow the crops if the dome. So enjoy this very good book and see all the trouble these two get into. And if it has a HEA!!
Another fun yet serious book from Tasha Black. A dragon warrior and a professional athlete meet to protect and to raise a baby in the frontier. Not something for the meek. Playful, romantic, daring, protective. Like so many of Tasha Black's books, I opened the book and had a difficult time putting it down. The warrior is strong but so is our lady. Bravo!!
I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved Kora and Zyon's story. A whole lot of heart is combined with drama, emotion, twists and heat into a thrilling mixture that entertains, engages and fully captures your heart. I found Zyon and Kora super easy to like and I thought they made a delightful couple. Their chemistry was spot-on and I felt that there was such a beautiful underlying sweetness to them. Baby Pax added just the perfect touch of adorability to it all. This is my frank, freely posted review.
There is absolutely nothing that I didn't like about this book. Kora and Zyon were so well written that I just fell in love with them. Pax is another love. The characters in this book just flowed together so well that I felt like it was more of a movie than a book. Kora's physical and personal strength made me want to be her. Her and Zyon worked so well together even when they were butting head. I cannot recommend this book and the rest the this series enough.
Kora and Zyon and baby Pax are a family. They just don’t know it right off. Of course there’s a HEA. One that will warm the heart and raise a smile. There’s heat there too, and a little danger. What was sweetest for me was the epilogue. It was the perfect ending to the perfect story that readers have come to expect from Tasha Black. I loved it all, from the gorgeous front cover to the very last word!
The storyline is entertaining and filled with action and adventure. Kora's life as an athlete may have been halted by her bad knee, but nothing was stopping the thrill of motherhood. Little did she know that an added bonus was the gorgeous warrior (Zyon) protector who would be with them for 20 years. The interaction and chemistry between them is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book 📚, as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
When they tried 2 go 2 their home they had a few issues but the robot that helped them became so much more than what it. It was treated like a human cause it had a name, and treated with respect not just a stupid machine. It was so excited 2 b treating well. I loved how her knee hurt her from a old injury but she didn't let that hinder her in any way but she would let pride stay away when she was doing what had 2 b done whether people liked it or not.
Zyon is another captivating and entertaining addition to the Alien Adoption Agency series and follows Kora and Zyon's journey. Kora and Zyon were engaging and likable characters, their chemistry was sizzling, and they made a perfect couple. I loved baby Pax, he was just adorable. This is a terrific story and one I enjoyed immensely.
Great addition to the series. Zyon is a bit standoffish and rigid by Kora’s standards. But she works on his feelings and he starts to realise his heart is indeed involved. A good bit of excitement ensues before their happily ever after and the bonus scene finished it off nicely.
I love Kora and Zyon's story, especially the epilogue. Kora is a strong woman, in both body and mind. She is adopting an Imberian baby and is going to live on a rough frontier. She didn't know that the baby came with an Invicta dragon warrior guard who is hot as heck. This book includes lots of steam and action and a happily ever after.
Ahhh, the end, the end. At least it is so for the moon of Atropos.
I loved both Kora and Zyon. I thought that each had a touch of innocence that was as adorable as Pax. Both needed to grow in order to become true mates. This was a wonderful story and I cannot wait to read what's next!
“Zion: Alien Adoption Agency” is the ninth book in the series and so intriguing, romantic, and filled with suspense! Tasha Black is a gifted author! The stories have the same theme, are well developed but each story is different, none are repetitive. They are standalone but fun if you read them in order. Thank you, Tasha Black
This story follows on from the first book to this and others to come.if you enjoy reading them this set is just the thing for you.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm That is finding it hard to put your books down thanks again
Such a different twist to this Alien Adoption Agency book! I love Zyon and Kora! They have wonderful chemistry. Always love the new family.. and their adventures. Clever writing and so much fun to read!
The attraction of the two main characters is instant, however Zyon attitude and behaviour leaves much to be desired. This slowly changes as she impresses him with her strength, speed and agility; he’s learning from her actions.
Once again the author has written a fabulous must-read with Zyron and Kora as the wonderful couple. Kora is a strong, independent woman and Zyron finds that out. Can't wait for the next book! I volunteered to read an advance copy for an honest review.
