Many of these poems in Part 1 and Part 2 were first published on my Facebook feed for my friends only. I want to thank them for their comments and encouragement that led me to continue to write, continue to post at least some of my poems.
The poems in Part 2 have already appeared in the novel Unspoken 2: After Life. A few are used to introduce a issue dealt with in particular chapters, but I also included the complete series at the end of the novel. They are my poems ascribed to my heroine Elizabeth. So, in a way, I have to thank her for inspiring me to write them, her and the isolation of the Covid-19 Pandemic that left me with a lot of alone time to think and write during 2020-2021. While this book is not specifically part of my Unspoken Series of novels, it is closely related.
The final poems in Part 3 were written half a lifetime ago for my one and only creative writing professor in college. I came across the folders of poems, short stories, and essay I wrote for him, and have included those I think are best after some revision based on more life experience and his comments.
