Since the chapters are released every month or so, I kinda forgot that this series existed, hence my late review. Buuut Buddha's fight (the 6th round in Ragnarok) is FINALLY over. I mean I like Buddha's character but this fight was probably my least favorite. The previous volume ended with the introduction of Hajun who replaced Zerofuku. He is apparently an experiment by Beelzebub and super dangerous (according to Hades). The fight between these two was better than the one between Zero and Buddha. I don't have much to say. Overall it was a good-ish book but I'm more excited about the next fight.
Chapter 50: Every mythology has a three-tiered cosmology. The realm of the gods and souls: Valhalla. The realm of mortals and creatures: Midgard. And the last one: Hell. Pandaemonium. The Underworld. The realm goes by many names. The realm of the damned. It is called Helheim.
Chapter 50: There is a legend in Helheim. "When brightest light combines with darkest shadow, the horns of the underworld shall awaken, and give birth to eternal darkness."
Chapter 50: The only soul he cannot see is the pitch black soul of Papiyas.
Chapter 51: It could've been anyone. It just happened to come across a timely vessel, and it wanted to see what flower would bloom in that beautiful soil. That's all. It could've been anyone.
Chapter 51: Someone found a mere trace of Papiyas. Cultivated it by some means. Creating something like a seed. Then, they took the seed of Papiyas and planted it within Zerofuku.
Chapter 51: I see. I've made up my mind. I'm gonna kill you.
Chapter 51: The Staff of the Six Realms changes according to Buddha's emotions. But Buddha's emotion in this moment was a poison of the mind he had rid himself of a long ago. HATRED
Chapter 51:
Chapter 51:
Chapter 51: So, any last words? Fine then, I'll say it again. If the gods won't save mankind, then I will. And I'll kill any god that stands in my way!!
Chapter 52: Facing you weakness. Struggling with your immaturity. And overcoming it. That's what puberty is all about! That's what you lack and that makes you weak!
Chapter 52: Let's fight together, Zerofuku!
Chapter 52:
Chapter 52:
Chapter 52: What is the meaning of comparing yourself to me!? Do you even need to ask? For judgment!
Chapter 53: The Way of Light
Chapter 53: That's way he couldn't see Papiyas' future. As his soul was fully shrouded in perfect darkness. But now, Papiyas' soul is flickering enough to overcome that darkness. Yes, out of fear!!
Chapter 53: In the words of the Exalted Sage: Unstartled, like a lion at sounds. Unsnared, like the wind against cold steel. Unsoiled, like a lotus in water. Like the horn of the rhinocheros, walk alone. However, should you find a companion upon whose soul you can rest yours. Then across all manner of adversity, brimming with joy, walk with him.
Chapter 53: Do you see this, Zerofuku? This is our path. Let's go together.
Mimo to epickość konfrontacji i dbałość o szczegóły mitologiczne rekompensują te niedociągnięcia...
It was an amazing volume. Five stars are also less. ✨️ The fight between Hajun(The Demon King 😈 of Sixth Heaven) and Buddha is very intense. Buddha loses his eye and is almost injured very badly but he still stands high and mighty. He is unable to know the future due to Hajun's dark soul but at last he does find it. Hajun was once the person who took over Helheim and we see Hades entry in the tournament. Hades is very handsome, fearsome and very calm man. He informs the other Gods that Beezlebub is the reason of Hajun appearance again. With Zerofuku Buddha forms the Volunds and attains perfect Enlightenment which helps him to defeat Hajun. It was a 21 mins fight where Buddha fought 2 people, Zerofuku who had lost his love for himself and Hajun who was an evil demon that wanted to crush everything and took pride in it.
