Hayden and the coded coat: Crisco Island
Coded Boy and The Elite Team return to save the world against Destroyable Boy and Co. But, unfortunately, things didn't go as planned this time around because the British Prime Minister and Captain Browbottom took them as they were blamed for the American President’s demise.
The timing couldn't be worse as Quashcain, Ralph Mischief, President Dump, and Destroyable Boy begin destroying buildings looking for codes so they could find Crisco Island.
A big, rectangular green beast with spots all over called Yachatal rises from the empty river to help the team and to help save the earth.
As always, Beryl Snackson is there to cause trouble and report everything happening with her own ulterior motives. So what is she up to?
Will Coded Boy and the Elite Team get their powers back to save the world with Yachatal?
Will Ralph Mischief find all the codes to become Griller again and bring back his ghastly creatures to start another war and take over the world?

Cliffhanger, adventure and plenty of fun
Destroyable Boy, President Dump and everyone else is back this time. Griller has a plan to make it to Crisco island and find the codes. The added complication is that this time Coded Boy has to give up his superhero powers during a confrontation.
A creature from the past - the Yachatal tries to warn the humans, but it is of no use as it is also imprisoned, after Hayden and the Elite Team give up being superheroes.
Hayden is miserable without his powers. He tries his hand at other things - bikes and even fishing - but he realizes that nothing makes him as happy as being a superhero.
Beryl is reporting all the wrong things about Hayden, making it more difficult.
The school principal is also watching Hayden, making sure that Hayden does nothing wrong.
On the other hand, Quashcain has a devious plan causing destruction all over the world.
Yachatal is in prison and the creature is the only one who knows the story about Sarasign, Gallo and the reason all this is happening.
Will Hayden be able to stop the end of the world this time?
The story ends in a cliffhanger and the pencil drawings explaining the story made me laugh. Mum was very understanding about Hayden, but Dad's behaviour, especially about the ticket back home, brought a smile.

What happens next?
A great second book by two talented authors and especially H.G on his brilliant drawings.
I can't wait to see what happens next for Hayden and the Elite Team.
I also likes how the authors interact with the reader and have them take part by using what they know and their imagination. Great work!

an audio review
Hayden and the Coded Coat: Crisco Island is an entertaining adventure as Hayden and The Elite Team continue their journey to help try to save the world. This book takes the team all over to several different locations. This is a wonderful book for older children and really is enjoyable for the whole family. This is such an imaginative story that can be enjoyed again and again.
Narrator Colin Wasmund does an amazing job. His character voices really add to the enjoyment of the story. You really get how different Hayden's friends' families are.

Such a good story. My son is a fan of this author. So happy we were able to finally read this new one! Kept my son interested from the beginning until the end. The illustrations are amazing, and They kept my son interested from the beginning of the story until the end. My son is such a fan of superhero-like stories so this pleased my seven-year-old for sure! Hayden and the elite team go through so much! My son wants more!

I will start with, I love P.R.G Wright and I have read all his writes including Hayden and the coated coat( book 1) and one of my favorite books of his ( Almighty: Allmachtig). Also, I was not disappointed with this second part of Hayden and the coded coat. It is more beautiful to read with children. I love the simplicity of the story and how the author amazingly got his readers. I love the book from its first page to the latter. 100%Recommend ❤️

Super hero for kids
I loved the illustrations. This book is for those who enjoy super-hero literature for kids. Initially I was confused by the tense fluctuations and the number of characters. Despite this the book pulls the reader in. Crazily imaginative. Precocious talent that definitely needs to be nurtured. Well done!

A Fun and Imaginative Adventure
What a great story! Full of creativity, fun and imagination, complete with superheroes to take you on a journey out of the norm.

Fun adventurous read for the whole family
Loved the first one and love this one too! I'm a big fan of true kids drawings and love that these are highlighted throughout the book. Hayden, Dexter, dangerous boy! President Dump! Such fun and funny characters and stories. Give it a read, share with your kids and family

This is the second Hayden and the coded coat I've read. I'm sure it took me longer to read this one as I love the artwork which shows up on most of the pages. I'm looking forward to reading the next one. I'm nearly 52 and I find myself shouting and cheering along with the story much to the dislike of my partner.

Nice superhero book
Nice hand drawings. Can’t go wrong with superhero books. My children didn’t want to stay for the read but they kept coming back and forth as I was reading it them. They are 6. I recommend this book to older kids.

A wonderful second book continues Hayden’s superhero adventures. I loved the drawings and the interactive exercises, and generally everything about the book. I think it’s a must book for a parent to read to their child, the story bounces along, and will, I am sure, definitely, keep them interested.
