The Fairy Godmother Agency has been operating without a need to change for
centuries—until now.

Why?

Because Love is dying...

Can the agency adapt to how love works in a modern world?

When a young halfling with snark, an attitude, and a criminal record breaks into the ranks of agents at FGA a lot of members aren’t happy.

Unfortunately, those upset can't argue Agent Paris Beaufont’s results are incredible.

She just doesn’t follow the rules to get things done.

For some incredible results just aren’t enough!

Corruption has insinuated itself deep inside the ranks of agents at FGA.

Many believe that tradition is what makes love go ‘round.

Are they wrong? Will changing the old ways stop love from blossoming in the world?

Can Agent Beaufont shatter the beliefs that have kept FGA from evolving?

The fate of love depends on it.

Paris is an incredible character and i am very happy to see her back in this new series! After attending the Happily Ever After College, Paris finds herself recruited into the Fairy Godmother's Agency and what an extraordinary adventure it is going to be! It’s an highly entertaining and exciting read that I have to say had me laughing out loud on more then one occasion as Paris’s antics and shenanigans get results to bring love back into the world! Throw in a talking squirrel that I absolutely adore and it’s off to a cracking start and I am hanging on waiting for the next book!

Great start on a new adventure. An adventure with its own adversaries and new problems to solve. But all can be accomplished with the help of a new team, friends, and family.

YAYYYY Paris and Faraday are back - this time as Agents for the FGA, well Paris is an agent lol

Her very first day doesn't get off to a good start, and only gets worse. Good job she has Faraday by her side.

Someone is trying to break up lovers everywhere and it's up to Pare and Fare to stop them and find out who is behind it all while dealing with office politics and ditzy assistants.

Great story, loved it, want more!!!!

She's unconventional

I love this new series. Paris is making friends, shaking up the old boys club, thwarting enemies and bring love to the world, with a squirrel, her family and her friends by her side.

Now Noffke Neatly Knits Nine Nifty Storylines

OK, I have no idea why I was possessed to use alliteration in the headline as I’ve done, nor do I recognize any significance in the number nine, but hopefully I’ve caught your attention and you’ll find this review helpful.

If you haven’t read any of the Beaufont books, this is an excellent entry point. While Sarah is always quite deft in the way she weaves recaps of material from earlier books into explanations, this book truly feels and reads like beginning a new “Volume 1” from a new series.

I won’t say BS about “If you like this type of character ,” or “if you like this type of book.”

What I will tell you is that love IS indeed under attack on our OWN world today, even as I type and you read this review. So of course my own emotions resonated to that theme from the story.

What I will tell you is that all of us have faced challenges and trials, and five times all we can do is just hold on, grit our teeth and scream? “Hell no!” into the face of the coming storm. So of course my own emotions resonated to that theme from the story.

What I will tell you is that have had my heart broken and my world destroyed. I am intimately familiar with the bitter cold and anguish which fill the void where Love once dwelled. So of course my own emotions resonated to THAT theme from the story.

So ask yourself, do you feel lucky?

No, wait, that was Clint Eastwood. Let’s try that again…

So ask yourself, do you like the sound of a suspense-filled yet comical fantasy (so-to-speak) novel that at the same time pulls upon and evokes those deeper, often uncomfortable, emotions? If the answer is yes, you’ll love this book. Have a great time with an awesome book. Enjoy!

Loved this first book in the Unconventional Agent Beaufont series, it continues Paris Beaufont’s journey to save love in the world. Something is off at the Fairy Godmother Agency and St. Valentine has tasked it’s newest agent with discovering what. All the Beaufont series’ have been amazing so far and this book is no different. It if full of humour, adventure, intrigue, sass, and has lots of great characters. I mean, who doesn’t love a talking squirrel that has the intelligence of Einstein and a sarcastic, kick ass woman who’s holding her own in a male dominated organization. Even though this can be read as a stand alone, I would suggest that you read at least The Inscrutable Paris Beaufont series prior to this so you know exactly who Paris is. If you want the full awesomeness of this world then start with the Unstoppable Liv Beaufont series followed by the Exceptional S. Beaufont series and then follow that with the first of the Paris series'. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I was wondering how this series could get better, now I know. Amazing book, great story!

What a special book! I knew it would be a great read, but this is beyond anything I expected. Paris just loves love! I have book two on pre-order and will wait for it with as much patience as I can. Way to hit it out of the park Sarah, love is alive!

Paris, Hemingway, Sophia

Gweniverre Paris Boufant has recently graduated as a Fairy Godmother. She has told St. Valentine she wants to be assigned as a FGA agent rather than a Fairy Godmother. She has been trying to recover her love with Hemingway.

Characterization and plotting are excellent.

She'll Take Care Of It

The Beaufont family is more dangerous than some of their enemies can predict. Fun reading with lots of twists and turns in the plot and quirky dialogue.

Who is trying to destroy love

Paris starts her new job as an agent of the FGA! So far it has been a bumpy ride. She meets her boss that does not have time for her. Her two employees have not worked for years. St Valentine wants her to find what is wrong within the FGA. Oh she also gets a wand my for her by Subner!

The Extraordinary Fixer

Paris never knows how her days are going to go and you can bet there will be something around the corner she will have to deal with. But she has the Beaufont blood running through her veins & she can get the job done or die trying. I can't wait to start the next book to see what happens next!!!!

Another Hit Series

What struck me most about this new series is that it revolves around the theme of love. How fragile love can be and how we must struggle to preserve it. Doing this as an urban fantasy is not easy yet Sarah and Michael have done it. Looking forward to the next book.

What a great start to this new series starring Paris Beaufont and her sidekick Faraday the talking squirrel. Like all of the Beaufont series, this one builds on the previous ones so best to read them in order so you know all the cameo characters.
After graduating Happily Ever After College, Paris starts her job at the Fairy Godmothers Agency (FGA). Many Agents don't like the fact Paris - a female - has been given a typical male job as an Agent. In typical Beaufont style, Paris isn't going to no for an answer and sets about to solve all challenges thrown at her with humour and kick ass sass. Such a fun story.

Excellent

I'm so glad Sarah decided to continue Paris' story. I love her bond with Faraday how they tease each then prop each other up, much like siblings.😍

I feel like I'm being nit-picky, but I wasn't a huge fan of the audio actor. Both the voice and the pace felt off to me. I was having trouble getting sucked into the story. I got about halfway into the audio book, but it felt like the story was just barely starting. It seemed like everything was background and world building, which I appreciate, but it didn't give me that page turner, must read, can't put down feeling. I also thought this was the first book of the series but the lead character keeps referencing other adventures. Those adventures don't seem to be needed for this story, but it's annoying me that I'm not at the beginning like I had thought. As exciting as starting a cool new job is for the main character, it also feels very overwhelming for me as the reader as she takes a tour and keeps uncovering things she has to fix in this fairy corporate world. I just dont see how this huge issue will be solved by the end of this book, or even by the end of several books. I think the corporate setting is part of what I'm not liking? I don't know. I also feel like I haven't really gotten a lot about the character. I dont feel like i can relate to her at all. She seems super cocky and not overly friendly. Even though I'm halfway through the book, there just hasn't been a lot of interaction with the lead character and other characters. Everything has been mainly first person ooint of view and all in her head. Only a few other characters have been introduced, and none of them, except maybe the shoe shiner, seem all that likable or interesting. I had to turn it off just when her first day ended. She went with some family (aunt? I dont remember) to get a magical artifact, and we didn't even get to participate in the event that took place. I'm finding a discrepancy with the age of the magical creatures in this world, too, that keeps bringing me out of the story because I keep questioning it. She keeps saying fairies are immortal but then talks about how the head of the fairy corporate is old and her aunt is old. I don't recall their descriptions, but i was getting the feeling they looked old and possibly acted old as well. Either way, it keeps pulling me out of the story because I'm confused. Maybe I'll try to find the first series and see if I can build more of a rapport with the lead character.

As usual for any book that Sarah Noffke & Michael Anderle are a part of, this first book of the second series involving Paris Beaufont, and her Squirrel sidekick, Faraday, is a fantastic read.

Paris and Faraday have been given the jobs of Agents, in the FGA and, on their very first day, they create a huge stir, as they start to go about their work, in their usual, rather unorthodox, manners.

What Paris finds at the FGA shocks her, and she and Faraday are determined to bring the FGA back to how it should be - even if it has to be with the FGA Agents, who are putting up blocks to their progress, kicking and screaming!

As she seems to do wherever she goes, Paris is making good friends - and even worse enemies - but that won't put these two good friends off from doing everything they can to promote love.

I really loved this story, and welcomed all of Paris' family members getting involved with her fight to save Love.

I'm also really looking forward to the next book, where I hope to see more results of Paris using her new wand.

So, without ado, I'll be going on to book two of this series, called:The Ruthless Negotiator. I'm pretty sure I can look forward to another great story but, as soon as I finish it, I'll see you back on the flip side, to tell you what I think of it!

Love makes the world go round

This is the first book in the second arc about Paige Beaufont. The Beaufont books originally started with a strong theme of justice and family loyalty values in the Liv Beaufont (Paris’ mum) tales. Family also includes those special people that you choose and not just those that are blood related. They also have a lot about balance, which when you about the scales of justice also makes sense. This theme was strongly reflected in the next series about Sophia Beaufont, Paris’ aunt.

This third amazing Beaufont woman Paris, has these values but the strongest focus is on ‘love’ in Heeps stories. And it’s WOW to read. Even if you haven’t read or don’t want to read all the Beaufont books, I totally recommend that you read at least the first arc of the Paris books before reading this one. Enjoy

It’s Paris’s first day an agent for FGA. St. Valentine has been put her in charge of the Department of Casual Love. Sounds great until she finds out she’s in the basement and only has two ditsy ladies for employees. And the other department heads think she’s a joke and won’t have anything to do with her.

Her first mission is stopping a magically charged heartbreak song from making couples around the world break up.

The different departments, stores and people in the Tower are uniquely refreshing, but ridiculously nutty.

Fave Scenes: Faraday’s first meeting with the IT director, the minotaur, Faraday’s distraction for Paris and Paris’s video for Ella.

To be honest, I did NOT finish this one.
I thought the short stories with Faraway, Links and the talking cat were cute and fast paved, I liked them very much. This one however is extremely word and has no action at all. The read 50% and just couldn't read anymore. I gave this book 2 stars because I like the talking squirrel. The story is super wordy and has a tendency to over explain, or ramble about uninteresting thing. This was not the book for me and so, I won't be reading more of the series. I would suggest you read this for yourself and form your own opinion

The Extraordinary Fixer(The Unconventional Agent Beaufont Book 1)

I so enjoyed this new story about Paris' start to her new life along with her best friend Faraway squirrel. This new adventure has been so amazing during this introduction story! And all of the action kept me on the edge of my seat! I loved how she and her friends old and new meshed so well on their task to save love and help St. Valentine to rescue the Fairy Godmother Agency. I can hardly wait to read her next adventure!

DNF @ chapter 4. Loved the idea of the premise but I don't think the style of writing is for me. Too wordy and I wasn't invested in the story. I couldn't connect with the characters either. Maybe because it's a series? This is my first book picked up from the author(s) so not sure if I missed anything from previous books.

Filled with love and suspense.

Filled with love and suspense. But as an agent for st. Valentine of course there will be love. As a Beaufont of course that can only be accomplished by fighting evil. Sarah Noffke again delivers an excellent book.

Wow

Sarah and Michael have done it again. Paris and Faraday have a true adventure in their first week at FGA. As unconventional as they are they have enemies around every corner. I'm truly looking forward to whatever comes next. I think I need a fairy godmother. Enjoy!
