This story made me swoon and awwww all at the same time. I absolutely loved this book, and could not get enough of these two. Small town romance, childhood crush, soulmates... Kinsey has always been the one for Knox, and he can no longer deny or ignore it. Kinsey has crushed on Knox since she was a little girl, she is done fighting the attraction and is ready to make knox hers.
She may be older, sassier and curvier...but he is about to light her up for Christmas
Kinsey is the second book in the Cranberry Corner series, which is just down the road from Kindlewood. This is a sweet and entertaining story about Kinsey Bryant and Knox Gunn. Kinsey works for the city of Cranberry Corner and is facing a crisis with her project to decorate for the tree lighting ceremony. When the owner of the company who was supposed to do the work is arrested on alleged tax fraud Kinsey needs someone who can do the work. The only option she has is to phone her brothers who own Merry & Bright, an outdoor lighting company. It pains Kinsey to have to make the call but with on other choice she does and Ace agrees to help. He sends a crew over who are headed by Knox. Knox is Ace's best friend and he works for Ace sometimes. Knox and Kinsey grew up together, with him always taking extra time and care of her since she was two years old. But when Kinsey grew up Knox found himself attracted to her, which he knew was wrong. So he started to tease her and be a bit mean, so she started to pull away from him. But the thing is that Kinsey has always loved Knox, ever since she can first remember riding on his shoulders as she tagged along with him and her brothers. So when Knox is the one who gets out the truck and meets Kinsey more sparks are going to fly than the lights on the tree. They are in a battle of the wills that turns into a battle of the hearts.
This is a wonderfully entertaining romance with a great story-line. I really loved the battle between Kinsey and Knox that you know is deeper than either of them will admit. There is also humor, witty banter, family, friends, and a lot of white hot lightning smexy passion. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Knox and Kinsey's story was wonderful! He's her older brother's best friend who's been in her life since she was 3yrs old and she's always adored him. Until she started to develop into a woman and he noticed and felt weird around her so Knox wound up breaking her heart by pushing her away. Kinsey doesn't understand why he's being mean to her so she stays away from him. Until as an adult she's in charge of the Christmas lighting for the town and she asks her brother's for help they send Knox instead and she's not too happy. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this book to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book. I'm looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series!

This is book number 2 of the Cranberry Corner series and focuses on Knox and Kinsey. Knox is best friends with Kinsey's brother so they all grew up together until Knox pushed Kinsey away. When Knox started to realize his feelings for Kinsey were not brotherly, he did what he had to do to push her away. So he ended up breaking her heart by relentlessly teasing her until she wanted nothing to do with him. Now years later, they are still in love with each other but still bicker and argue to avoid giving in to their feelings. When Knox is asked to help Kinsey, they finally get everything that they have always wanted. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!

'Kinsey' by Piper Cook is the second book in her Cranberry Corner series and tells the story of Kinsey and Knox. Kinsey and Knox grew up together because Knox was her brother, Ace's, best friend. Kinsey always had a crush on Knox but he only ever treated her as a little sister. As they grew up his feelings changed but he couldn’t act on them, because of bro code, so he pushed Kinsey away, distancing himself from her. Years later Kinsey is in charge of decorating downtown and the company she hired got in trouble with tax fraud so she asked her brother, Ace, who owns a lighting company. He said he would send his best guy. He sent Knox. Could things get any worse for Kinsey?
Ms. Cook has written a delightful addition to her series. This story had snarkiness, sass, drama, laughs, family meddling, and steam. I liked how Kinsey stood up for herself. Ace should have butted out much sooner. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a quick but satisfying read with their glass of eggnog.

This was a really good book! It was about Kinsey and her older brother’s best friend - that’s one of my favorite tropes!!! Kinsey has adored Know practically her whole life and Knox always looked out for Kinsey. During his teen years, Knox realized the extent of his feelings and did not want to break the Bro-Code, so he pushed Kinsey away. Kinsey never understood why Knox was suddenly so mean to her. Then, as adults, they are brought back together. Unable to deny their chemistry, they finally give in to their emotions. Kinsey’s brother immediately finds out and is NOT happy about it! Kinsey and Knox are able to overcome the obstacles in their way though! Ms. Piper Cook delivers another HEA for this couple in true fashion. She’s able to make the characters relatable - which is a HUGE plus for me. I love Piper’s books and since they are nice quick reads, I often find myself rereading her books. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!
Piper Cook's second installment in her wonderful Cranberry Corner series is Kinsey, a fabulous brother's best friend short romance. Desperate when head of the company that was doing the lighting for the annual Christmas festivities in town is arrested, Kinsey calls her brothers for help. Ace sends his best friend to complete the contract, not knowing that Knox has done his best to keep his distance from Kinsey because he has long been in love with her. Kinsey is prickly when Knox arrives, since he long ago broke her heart. However, as they work together to light up the town square, will the magic of Christmas help them acknowledge their mutual attraction? And what happens when Kinsey's brother finds out? This is an entertaining, quick and steamy read that will certainly heat you up on a cold, holiday night.

Love this story! This is about Kinsey and Knox. Kinsley and Knox have known each other since she was 3 years. He was her older brother's best friend and even though Knox would carry her on his shoulders and she was always around them, it all changed when she started to develop into a young woman and he started feeling weird around her, so he broke her heart instead. Now Kinsley is as stubborn as she has always been and refuses to let down her town now that she is in charge of the Christmas lighting.
She calls on her brothers for help, but instead, they send Knox to help and she is not too happy but she endures it all and ends up liking him back and the flirting between them has things leading to more and there is a fight in the end that speaks louder than words to her brothers.

short and sweet Chris love story about two people who have been distant with each other.. he is her brother's best friend. Despite attraction from earlier years, Knox took to being mean to discourage Kinsey as his feelings ran deep and had not realised how she felt until tasked with setting up the town's Christmas lights.

My heart just melted! This is brothers best friend at it's best. Knox and Kinsey have known each other all of their lives. Kinsey the pestering little sister of Knox' best friend...until she wasn't the pest anymore. Can Knox win his hearts desire now that she's not so little? What a beautiful insta-love story.
A long standing attraction Knox has felt for Kinsey, but one he won’t break the bro code of giving into temptation. Loved the characters and the chemistry is bold and and a long time coming with these two since they were kids. Enjoyed the ending of this short for they both get their most desired wish.

Loved to “see” Ace and Kinsey again! This short and spicy romance is full of Christmas lights and holiday spirit! They have been loving each other since forever but when a job decorating the town put them together the pull is too strong and neither of them could remember why they were resisting in the first place.
The author has given us a heartwarming story that pulls us into the lives of Kinsey and Knox. When they were younger, Knox pushed her away and broke her heart. Will this be their second chance at happiness?
