Whoa! This storyline is all that and a bag-o-chips! There are so many unique qualities to the world making it extremely enjoyable!
Amersyn came into her full powers by the end of this read and it was epic! She is one bad ass woman! The past comes back to haunt her but this time Amersyn is not alone. Once her people get riled up no one will survive. Just love love love Amersyn, Rachel, Nikki, and Zeke. These characters just meld perfectly together with some added emotional ties.
Sooooo why did you rate this a 4 DD? Maciah. He is not as strong of an MC I would have liked for Amersyn. He is steadily making promises he does not keep because he either gets our powered or out thought. Making him weak in my opinion. I wish her match was as bad ass as she is.

Omg that ending 😱
I did not see that ending coming 😫😫 my poor heart it can't be true and I really hope someone survive 💔
When this story started Amersyn had many enemies after her some for lose ends they thought already tied up and others whom knew her true origins and wanted her eliminated. When she took out Rigo she knew it was only a matter of time b4 that came back to bite her she just didn't think it would be so soon and that someone within Micaihs nest would be the one to help give her up. Dimitri wanted to kill her slowly then kill her vampire form but when he failed he took her human life before he became ash. Newly turned and out for blood Amersyn struggled with her need for blood and not wanting to be the monster she's hated her whole life. With the help of her new found family she's able to control her new urges but when Silas comes after them again after her blood didn't work he makes her bow by taking someone close to her.
In order to stay will the plan of killing Silas she'll have to learn to control her new abilities but seeing someone from her past throws her off. Silas was sure to have a plan in place should he die and that will break Amersyn in a way she hasn't felt since she lost her family.

Loving this series!! So so good! Haven't read a Vampire story in a while. Heather never disappoints. I love seeing the little crossovers from her other Mystics and Mayhem series. This one is spicy but not overly explicit.

This is the second book of an extremely addicting series and we start off right where book one ends. Amersyn and Maciah, along with the rest of the vampires of their nest, are dealing with the threats stemming from the conflict with Silas. There are so many vampires that are after Amersyn and if they knew who and what she really is, it would mean the end for them all. Amersyn has found in her nest a family that will protect her and battle along with her no matter what may come. The author has outdone herself with amazing character development, conjuring fantastic plot twists, and thrilling action, which leave you hooked to the world where these amazing characters wreck havoc on our emotions. I literally held my breath, holding on for dear life as I read to the end. I cannot wait for book 3!!!

Okay, so as you guys can see this book has got me feeling a lot of things. Which is a good thing. It's what we want in a book. But man. I just gots to know what happens next...like yesterday!
So I know it's been a while since I've done a review. My health hasn't been great and life has been a little crazy. And to top that off my laptop, I think, is giving up on life. Ugh, trust it. So I'm going to try and keep this short, as it's seriously lagging as I type this.
This was seriously a phenomenal read. I loved every moment of this fast paced book. Book 1, I wasn't as grabbed as I had wanted to be...but book 2 sort me out and put me in my place. And so it should've. I've been really in a bit of a reading slump with books just not grabbing my
attention. Which stinks majorly. But this one demanded my attention. So if you loved book 1 there is zero reason why you won't love everything about this book! It'll sink its claws right in.
I have to say I absolutely adored her womanance with Rachel and Nikki. Seeing Amersyn begin to open up and showing them all her sides was something that touched my heart a lot. Then add in Zeke and Macaiah and they have created quite the little family. 😍
This is a book that you need to add to your list! Be sure you are ready for its release tomorrow…but I do believe the paperback is already live! 😁

What?! The mother of all cliffhangers has me losing my mind! I need more right now. I've fallen for Amersyn and Maciah and their nest. This is absolutely unputdownable with smoldering scenes and eyebrow raising events. So much has happened and with the next book on the horizon, I'm not ready to say goodbye.
Amersyn is vulnerable and fierce. She loves with every part of her heart and guards those who truly matter, with everything she's got. Watching her make friendships that will be long lasting is just fantastic. She just needed a tribe and what she received was even better. She found a family.
Maciah is such a likable guy. He's running the gauntlet of emotions throughout this book and seeing this big bad guy melt for his girl is equal parts delicious and heart melting glee.
Heather Renee always writes these complex plots that are twisty. The way that she expresses the inner core of her leading characters is mesmerizing. I love the voice that rings out from each of her beautiful books.

First off I need to tell you how obsessed I am with this series. I read Vampire Heir (book1) about a month ago. This book hooked me and I could not put it down. I read it in one sitting and thought about the story days after I finished. This book is no exception and I did it again....read it in one sitting and I am still thinking about that ending.....Holy Cow....What an ending it was!
This takes off where book one left off. We find ourselves with Amersyn, Michael, Nikki, rachel and all of the others in the nest dealing with the threats after the debacle with Silas. They have several other Vampires who would destroy them if they knew who Amersyn really is and they must keep safe. The antics and banter between all Am's friends is hilarious and I just adore Rachel. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and definitely will keep you on your toes. I loved everything about this book and cannot wait to get book 3, Vampire Vow which comes out January 20th,2022. I give this one 5 huge vampire stars!

Oh wow, what an ending!! So, looking forward to book three. So much happens during the second book of the Scorned by Blood series, “Vampire Ash” by Heather Renee. Amersyn goes through a lot of changes and does an amazing job adapting to all that has changed in her life. While still seeking revenge and now facing those Vampires that are after her, Amersyn now has a team/family she can depend on. With surprises along the way Amersyn, Maciah and her friends continue to do what they can to fight those who are out to get Amersyn.
Heather Renee writes a fabulous story with twists, turns, action, and many emotions that will have you captured in this world she has created. I can’t want for more.

I absolutely adore everything that Heather writes, truly but I love Maciah and Amersyn so much, the character building is phenomenal. Even the side characters like Zeke and Rachel, make me smile, make me laugh and make me cry. So much happened in this book I was so anxious at first for Maciah to get his head out of his butt, I mean come on. Some great resolution and so much mystery left to solve. I definitely recommend starting this whole world with Lucinda and Finn, also with Cait and Roman. Can't wait to see what more is to come!!

Although I don't believe the ending. I have faith that Heather wouldn't do that to us. You can always start the story from anywhere. If your are the type that throws your Kindle wait till the next book comes out before you read this one. You'll thank me later. I love Maciah more after reading this book. Is that even possible? Yes. Anyway, he is so understanding. Although he goes through a phase where he blames himself for something. And he punishes himself & Amyerson suffers for it too. Other than that he's good.

This series gets better with each book!!
We finally get to see how amazing Amersyn is able to handle change. It’s good to see that we still have a very strong character. The battle with Silas has does not disappoint and I really enjoyed the outcome and action that came with it. I did not see the contingency plan happening and that ending!! Wowza!!
The narrator, Vanessa Moyen did a wonderful job portraying all of the characters. She had me enthralled in the book till the very end.
If you enjoy paranormal romance, with some steamy scenes, then grab this series.

There is a fair amount of action, some very good morality struggles, a growth in the characters and an interesting story.
This book has more about Amersyn’s growth and changes. It is very well done. There are depths appearing in everyone.
This was a quick, easy, fun read although it definitely ended at a spot the was a cliffhanger. I have to rush into the next book.

Holy fang! That cliffhanger was epic and torture at once! Absolutely amazing follow up to the first book! I can't wait to see how we come back from that cliffhanger!!!

Amazing book
Omg that was one hell of a cliffhanger. I can't wait for Vampire Vow to come out to see what happens. Amersyn is one kick ass chic. She has some powerful enemies but that won't get her down or stop her from trying to avenge her family and doing what is right. How will Amersyn come to terms with becoming the very thing she hates and kills? Can Amersyn handle that her feelings towards Maciah are growing?

Couldn't put this book down!
I was excited to get the next part of Amersyn's story and Heather Renee did not disappoint. A lot happens in this book and a few of them I did not see coming. I loved seeing the characters grow closer and Amersyn because stronger with everything that is thrown at her. Of course we get out cameos from the other stories in this world which I just love. The ending killed me though and now I will be waiting impatiently for the last book!

OMG what a wild, dark and twisted ride this book is, I was enthralled the whole time, biting my nails, the angst is so damn real!!! 😫
The bonding between Amersyn and Maciah is so hot, he is so yummy, more when he is not afraid to show his love for her!!! #drooling #swooning 😍🥰

Did not take me long to read this one - Heather's books never do. She has away of hooking you in and the next thing you know your lunchtime is up and you haven't ate your lunch.
Amersyn's story is a good one. She has accepted what she has become and realized not all vampire's are monsters to be feared. After all her BFF are vampire's named Rachel and Nikki.
Afew turn of events occur- some had to happy but the last one is just Heather being very mean. The ending cliffhanger is a great one.

This second installment of the Scorned by Blood series, Vampire Ash, was AMAZING!! I love Amersyn and Maciah! I loved the cameos of the characters from previous series set in the same world. Oh, and it does end on a cliffhanger and OMG that cliffhanger! But the 3rd book comes out next month so at least I don’t have to wait for too long!! Another great series by the fabulous, Heather Renee (as is everything else she writes)!

We got treated to a lot of actions and a lot of changes in this second book. The story with Amersyn really progressed quickly, but I won't go into anymore details because spoilers! I really enjoyed the cameos from some old friends in this book too, I love when that happens! The ending though, it is definitely a nail-biter cliffhanger! I can't wait to read the next one!!

Book 2 in Scorned by Blood series
A pulse-pounding, blood-pumping combination featuring twists, nail-biting action, developing relationships, and an ending that left me begging for more. Book 3, here I come!
I just thought that I loved this series after book 1, but this book solidified it for me. Oh my goodness! So much takes place in this one. I could go on and on. I loved it from the very beginning. Strong characters. Detailed world building.

There was definitely a lot of action in this book. The FMC was learning about her powers that she got from being turned into a vampire. She didn’t really want to be a vampire, but unfortunately that’s what happened. She did find out what happened to her mentor at the end of this book since he seemed to have disappeared, and nobody knew where he went. The end of this book was a little bit open ended but not too much. I will definitely read the next book in the series.

This author and her cliffhanger lord help us, they have shock factor that leaves you with your jaw on the floor! This series is phenomenal and I would have to say one of my absolute favorites from this author. Amersyn and Maciah are freaking everything. Their heat their fire the chemistry they have is undeniable and sexy AF. Things are getting so freaking good and I can’t wait for the next book!!

This book was freaking phenomenal! It made me laugh, cry, and shredded my heart at the end! But I will definitely be there for the next installment bc things HAVE to be ok. Am and Maciah go through so much in this installment. I love all the characters and how Lucy and Finn still like to make random appearances. Can’t recommend this series enough!!

I am utterly gobsmacked at that ending it feels like I've been kicked in the gut by a horse multiple times over. That ending completely blindsided me even though my mind tried to warn me to stop I wouldn't listen. This is probably the most crushing ending that Heather Renee has ever written. I am so happy that the next book Vampire Vow is already up for pre-order with a January release date because I don't think I can function for long without answers! How?! How could she? My heart is literally in tatters! I pray that the author can't truly be that evil!
Vampire Ash is an intense book with lots to unpack and Amersyn and the nest just can't seem to catch a break as more and more trials come her way. She truly shows how strong she is and how much Rachel, Nikki, Zeke and Maciah have affected her and changed her outlook on vampires. She shows true strength of will as she becomes that which she has loathed her entire life.
After a slightly rocky start as I continued reading Maciah just became more and more perfect. Vampire Ash gave us more of an insight into Maciah's struggles between being Amersyn's lover and being her protector. He and Amersyn are very alike as they both love with their whole heart, fiercely and it was just amazing to see their relationship progress. I just love how fiercely protective he is, he is exactly what she needs in her life keeping her calm and grounded through her rage, always knowing what she needs and how best to help her.
I loved the cameo's from other characters in this world we got to see it was nice to see them all again. I really enjoyed seeing the characters friendships and relationships grow closer.
This book takes you on such an emotional rollercoaster that you begging to be let off the ride gets more and more tempting, There are so many challenges and twists, so much action the characters have to face and overcome that it overwhelmed me at times. The writing is absolutely superb probably one of the authors best books yet and I can't wait for the next one!

cliff hanger
I’m so glad I’m reading this when the next book is already out. Because that cliff hanger would of had me crying. This second book was so action packed and thrilling from the very first page I couldn’t put it down. The rest of the world needs to stop intruding so I can finish book 3

I loved the twists and turns and unexpected arrivals of this book! I loved seeing Amersyn’s relationship with the nest grow and not just with Maciah! And that ending!!!! I am a sucker for cliffhangers and this one was gut retching!! What a good read, I’m excited for the next one!

Holy crap! I loved book one and Vampire Ash took me on a ride for sure! I cannot wait for the next one especially after that cliffhanger. If you love adventure, action, and a plot that keeps thickening I seriously recommend this amazing vampire series! Heather writes such captivating books

Can we have more of Aemerson now please. I don't want to have to wait till Jan. *crying* this book was totally worth it though. I spent the entire thing going 'oh no are they gonna find out. Is she gonna die now?'.
