Reaper Packs a Punch!
Reaper, Steel Scorpions, Book 5, took the ARC to a new level. Reaper is reacquainted with Rose, who has known since fourth grade. He finds her going through a messy divorce from Blake, an abuser/stalker. So he comes to her rescue and thereby gets her involved with the MC’s current problems with Wes and Bullet. How can they resolve these issues safely for the MC but more importantly, the women?
A daring plan is put into place involving Fang the Club’s President. Now we wait for book six.
Loved this book in the series. It took the storyline by the short hairs and squeezed. I’m definitely recommending this book an the series for your reading enjoyment, pleasure and satisfaction. PEACE.

Each chapter gets better and better in this series. I love Caleb and Rose. Loads going on and had me flipping the pages one right after the other. This MC is getting pulled in all kinds of directions and you get the gritty truth, bit by bit as the stories move along. She feels like home and that really scares Reaper. Rose has spunk, she stands up to Fangs quite a few times and it's awesome. This story finishes, but it drops you right into the next hurricane of activity. The next book can't come fast enough for me.

I loved Caleb and Rose's story. I have to be honest; this romance sent my emotions spinning. These two had me laughing one minute and all up in my feels the next. Caleb was mega swoon worthy, and I not only sympathized with but could relate to Rose on a very personal level. I thought that this was an incredible book and an excellent entry for this addicting series. I am electing to post a candid review.

Caleb and Rose were best friends until her husband couldn't handle their relationship. Reunited they take us on an action packed ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end and leave you wanting the next book asap.

I love the Steel Scorpions! Each story gets better and better and Reaper and Rose are no exception. Caleb (Reaper) had always been Rose's best friend. And even though they hadn't spoke for years, he was the first one she called when she needed someone to talk to. Between club still battling Bullet and Rose dealing with her idiot ex, these two have quite an adventure of their own. I'm excited to see what's coming for the club Prez Fangs now.

Arc review for honest review. When rose Reeves husband is treating her while not also giving her the divorce she asked for .she only had one person calab(reaper) to call that could help her now .if he'll just listen to her . Awesome story.

Caleb and Rose were best friends until the phone calls and messages went unanswered with no explanation. When Caleb gets a call out of the blue, he knows Rose needs him. Will Caleb be able to put the past behind them to help Rose? Enjoyable and entertaining read.

3.75 stars--REAPER is the fifth instalment in Savannah Rylan’s contemporary, adult STEEL SCORPIONS erotic, MC romances series. This is Caleb aka Reaper, and Rose’s story line. REAPER can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading the series in order as there is an ongoing premise, and each successive instalment builds upon the previous story line.
SOME BACKGROUND: Several months earlier the Steel Scorpions MC broke up a human trafficking ring run by the Devil’s Rage MC, and in the ensuing months a battle for territory has seen most of the Steel Scorpions’ bars and night clubs burned to the ground. The Devil’s Rage is demanding reparations for the loss of income, and has threatened all of the women connected to the Steel Scorpions MC.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Rose and Reaper) REAPER follows in the wake of Rose’s life spiralling out of control. Rose’s husband Blake refuses to sign their divorce papers, and has threatened our heroine in the process. This intriguing second-chance MC romance is an excellent addition to the “Steel Scorpion” series (there is an underlying storyline and some character crossovers so I would recommend reading the series) the two main characters (a Steel Scorpion MC rider, Caleb aka Reaper) & (a strong-willed woman in danger, Rose) were childhood friends but lost contact with each other now they are back in contact with each other & develop good chemistry between them but they will have to face some very unpredictable looming dangers. I found the plot quite entertaining with just the right amount of intrigue & suspense. There is very good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a rival MC (Devil’s Rage), a despicable ex-husband & stalker (Blake), action, adventure, twists & turns, drama, suspense, emotional turmoil, safety issues, suspicions, threats, danger, violence, conflict, confrontations, manipulations, steamy scenes, contentment & love. There is a jaw-dropping, suspenseful ending involving the Steel Scorpion’s President (Fangs) & the contemptible man (Bullet) from the Devil’s Rage MC. Naturally, I will be waiting with eager anticipation for the next book in this series &would recommend this book & the series.

I loved this book. The characters are so likable.
Reaper and Rose have known each other for a lifetime, but they went their separate ways. Rose now needs Reapers help, but is afraid to ask.
Reaper is leary of Rose’s request. He doesn’t want to get caught up in her drama, but when he finds out its because of her ex and that he won’t leave her alone then he is all in. It also helps that he is part of an MC and people are both afraid of him and in aww. He and the Club help her out and their old feelings for each other come back as hot as ever. They finally realize that they are made for each other and plan a future.

When Reaper gets a call from his past, he knows she's in trouble and can't help but go to her.
Rose gave up her best friend for the sake of the love of her life, too bad if she'd known what she knew now, she never would have. Eight years later, she hopes Caleb/Reaper will forgive her and help her now.
To top it off Bullet is still in the wind and the war rages on.

As best friends from years ago meet up after trouble has Rose trying to get away from her husband and lands herself in more trouble in ways she doesn't expect as a rival club brings it to the club that Caleb belongs to. Can Caleb keep Rose safe or does he lose his heart and her too? Grab this heart racing, page turner and enjoy the ride.

I enjoyed Caleb and Rose's story which is a great 2nd chance romance in this MC world. I liked that Caleb expressed his hurt at her ghosting him and apart from his silly martyr moment, he was great.
I will say the series villain Bullet is getting tiresome and it is hard to believe he hasn't got a bullet to unalive him. Interested to see where Fang leads this next.

Reaper is the IT for the Steel Scorpions MC. The Steel Scorpions have a prisoner in their basement and Reaper has accessed all of Wes’ information from his phone. Wes was a stalker to Lila who is with Viper. Wes has been helping out the Devil’s Rage MC. Reaper has been watching Wes plus he has been doing his techie job and he is exhausted. He finally gets to bed and his phone rings, it is his best friend who he hasn’t seen or talked to in 7 years. Rose is a graphic artist. Rose has been with Blake for 8 years and everything seemed to be good until they got married. They married a year and a half ago and Blake changed the way he treated Rose after they got married. Rose came home early from a business trip to find Blake having sex with another woman in their marital bed. Rose moved out and filed for divorce. Blake won’t sign the divorce papers. Blake isolated Rose from all of her friends. Rose needs someone to talk to so she calls her old best friend. Reaper answers the phone and it’s Rose. Rose only knows Reaper as Caleb. Rose asks to meet Caleb and they meet at a restaurant where Rose proceeds to tell Caleb that she is trying to get a divorce from Blake. Reaper knows Blake and he never liked him. Blake was controlling and he emotionally abused Rose. Reaper is still hurt by the way Rose just stopped texting and calling him. Rose has missed having Caleb in her life. Caleb agrees to help after Blake confronted Rose at her condo. The Steel Scorpions are trying to figure out what to do with Wes and how to handle the Devil’s Rage. Will Rose realize that she has always loved Caleb? Will Reaper realize that he has always loved Rose? Will Rose be able to get free of Blake? Will Reaper and the Steel Scorpions figure out a way to get rid of Wes? Will Reaper and Rose finally find their true love and happiness in each other?

Her dirt bag of an ex husband won’t leave her alone, so they enter into a fake relationship to get him off her back. The only problem? The longer they pretend, the more they catch feelings. And with everything that’s happening with the Devil’s Rage, Reaper doesn’t want to drag Rose into the crossfire. Yet somehow, he can’t make himself stay away.
She’s done it again!!! I’m a sucker for a good MC romance, and this series just keeps on getting better and better. Rose and Reaper’s story was absolutely amazing!!! It had all the action, the steam, the angst. There’s so much at stake, and the drama with the Devil’s Rage is becoming more and more pressing. I’m excited to see how it all wraps up, and as for that ending… it was cruel!!! I need the next one ASAP!

Rose is a young woman married to a man who is not who he pretends to be and she has been legally separated from him for 6 months and wants him to sign the divorce papers. He refuses. Rose has to figure out something fast she calls her best friend whom she let her husband push out of her life some years ago but she is desperate. Reaper aka Caleb and Rose were more like brother and sister back in school but when she met Blake everything changed between her and him now he is a Steel Scorpion MC member and was not interested in helping his ex-friend because he had serious business to handle with his own family. But things are not always what they seem. A romantic storyline and the characters are entertaining. Drama, suspense, danger, violence, verbal abuse, and love. HEA. After church Reaper feel into bed again when his phone rang he was going to ignore it but it was the woman that had always held his heart his best friend Rose.He asked her what was wrong an she was crying so hard he couldn't understand her.When Rose tells him she's divorcing her cheating ex husband he said good.He really wanted answers shed hurt him more than he thought possible.But as they started to talk he was called to the club .Will Reaper be able to keep Rose safe or should he let her go?There are so many twists and turns you will be riveted u tilt he very last page an leave you begging for more. Reaper: Steel Scorpions MC #5 by Savannah Rylan begins with Reaper and Viper still punishing Wes as they are trying to get information on Bullet and his never ending vendetta he has with the club. Another great addition to this series that is full of violence, danger, suspense and passion in this emotional love story that will have you on edge until the last page.
Reaper is tech-savvy and transferred all of Wes's money to the club much which has Wes's outraged spouting off threats. While they are working him working him over, Reaper gets a phone call from someone from his past, Rose his best friend growing up and the one who broke his heart pleading for his help. Now Reaper reluctantly agrees to meet her and learns that Rose, is caught up in a messy divorce from her soon to be ex Blake who cheated on her, he is arrogant, abusive mentally and feels he can get Rose to back down from divorcing him by using force and threats . Knowing Blake will never let her go, she decides to call the one person who always had her back, Caleb her best friend growing up but will he want anything to do with her with the way she cut him off to keep Blake happy? The reunion between these two is shaky at best, Reaper is angry about the past until Rose tells Caleb aka Reaper about her life with Blake. Rose can see that Reaper is now part of a motorcycle club and the young man she knew is no more, instead she sees this fierce sexy tattooed man before her. When she tells him how sorry she feels for hurting him by walking away she can tell she is unable to get through to Reaper as club business ends their meeting.
So many twists and turns in this story, Fang and the rest are worrying about the safety of their ol'ladies from Bullet's threats and Wes still hasn't told them who is depositing large amounts into his account. With all of the club drama Reaper still has to deal with Rose and the way he left her. Once Reaper returns to Rose, she wants him to pretend to be her fiance so Blake will back off, now these two will start to argue as Reaper tells Rose she hurt him and he won't agree to her plan. As he is getting ready to leave he sees someone in the shadows approaching Rose, when he intervenes he learns it's Blake and they get into a altercation, Reaper then blurts out that he and Rose are together . Reaper decides to take Rose to his home to protect her as they are getting closer they are interupted when Bullet's men come to his home demanding they transfer the money back to Bullet or they will come after all of the women in the club including Rose who is hiding in the bathroom. Reaper now alerts Fang and his brothers of this new threat as he is returning to the clubhouse with Rose. WIth the clubhouse in an uproar, the brothers are on edge wanted to go after Bullet. Fang has no choice but to put the club on lockdown in order to protect their loved ones. Reaper takes Rose to his room and they give into all of the pent up feelings between them and end up having sex that is hard, fast and explosive. As they reflect on the past Reaper and Rose admit feelings that long have been denied. But in order to keep her safe, Reaper will need to break Rose's heart by telling her that what they shared meant nothing and he ends up throwing the past in her face which angers Rose to the point she lashes out at him and slaps him. Reaper and Viper finally get Wes to admit that the other party involved is their gun supplier who the club cut ties with. Reaper goes to Rose to apologize has he admits to himself he never stopped loving her only to find she left the clubhouse. Rose returns home angry and hurt but knows she is strong enough and has to stand up to Blake on her own and forget about Reaper as he dosen't want her.
But Blake has other plans when he arrives at Rose's door and takes her at gunpoint, is this the end for her? Once Reaper arrives at her apartment, her neighbor tells him about the man who took her, he races to the garage he hears voices and sees Blake with a gun on Rose trying to get her into his car. Reaper takes out all of the cameras and is biding his time until he can get to Rose, once he approaches Blake they both have guns ready to fire, in order for Reaper to save Rose he stands down but when Blake threatens to kill Rose out of nowhere a sound is heard and Blake falls back covered in blood as Viper comes out of the shadows saving both Reaper and Rose. Now we have a distraught Rose who is shaken and in shock when she learns that Blake is dead as Viper assures her they will make sure Blake's death won't be tied to her. Rose is brought to the clubhouse as Reaper comes up with a plan to use Wes to take the fall for Blake's death. When West is told he is of no further use to Bullet, he has two choices end his life or he will be framed for killing Blake. Now the club has to deal with Fang who is acting weird when he informs his brothers that he set up a meeting with Bullet leaving his men confused and outraged, until they hear motorcycles approaching the clubhouse they are getting ready for a showdown. When all is revealed,Fang tells his brothers that he is going to give himself over to Bullet and that the club will be returning the money to him, Reaper and the others try to reason with Fang but with no success . Once Fang is allowed to say goodby to his brothers, he makes it known that this is the only way to keep his club safe as they are outnumbered, but he knows that they will have his back and he will do all he can to hold on until they come for him and take out Bullet. Now we are left with more questions as we wait for Fang's story. Will Bullet keep Fang alive in time for his club to rescue him? And who is this arrogant confrontational young woman held in the basement along with Fang and what part will she in his story? Now we are left with more questions as we wait for Fang's story. Fang, Steel Scorpions MC is a must read which I highly recommend!

Now Reaper reluctantly agrees to meet her and learns that Rose, is caught up in a messy divorce from her soon to be ex Blake who cheated on her, he is arrogant, abusive mentally and feels he can get Rose to back down from divorcing him by using force and threats . Knowing Blake will never let her go, she decides to call the one person who always had her back, Caleb her best friend growing up but will he want anything to do with her with the way she cut him off to keep Blake happy? The reunion between these two is shaky at best, Reaper is angry about the past until Rose tells Caleb aka Reaper about her life with Blake. Rose can see that Reaper is now part of a motorcycle club and the young man she knew is no more, instead she sees this fierce sexy tattooed man before her. When she tells him how sorry she feels for hurting him by walking away she can tell she is unable to get through to Reaper as club business ends their meeting.
So many twists and turns in this story, Fang and the rest are worrying about the safety of their ol'ladies from Bullet's threats and Wes still hasn't told them who is depositing large amounts into his account. With all of the club drama Reaper still has to deal with Rose and the way he left her. Once Reaper returns to Rose, she wants him to pretend to be her fiance so Blake will back off, now these two will start to argue as Reaper tells Rose she hurt him and he won't agree to her plan. As he is getting ready to leave he sees someone in the shadows approaching Rose, when he intervenes he learns it's Blake and they get into a altercation, Reaper then blurts out that he and Rose are together . Reaper decides to take Rose to his home to protect her as they are getting closer they are interupted when Bullet's men come to his home demanding they transfer the money back to Bullet or they will come after all of the women in the club including Rose who is hiding in the bathroom. Reaper now alerts Fang and his brothers of this new threat as he is returning to the clubhouse with Rose. WIth the clubhouse in an uproar, the brothers are on edge wanted to go after Bullet. Fang has no choice but to put the club on lockdown in order to protect their loved ones. Reaper takes Rose to his room and they give into all of the pent up feelings between them and end up having sex that is hard, fast and explosive. As they reflect on the past Reaper and Rose admit feelings that long have been denied. But in order to keep her safe, Reaper will need to break Rose's heart by telling her that what they shared meant nothing and he ends up throwing the past in her face which angers Rose to the point she lashes out at him and slaps him. Reaper and Viper finally get Wes to admit that the other party involved is their gun supplier who the club cut ties with. Reaper goes to Rose to apologize has he admits to himself he never stopped loving her only to find she left the clubhouse. Rose returns home angry and hurt but knows she is strong enough and has to stand up to Blake on her own and forget about Reaper as he dosen't want her.
But Blake has other plans when he arrives at Rose's door and takes her at gunpoint, is this the end for her? Once Reaper arrives at her apartment, her neighbor tells him about the man who took her, he races to the garage he hears voices and sees Blake with a gun on Rose trying to get her into his car. Reaper takes out all of the cameras and is biding his time until he can get to Rose, once he approaches Blake they both have guns ready to fire, in order for Reaper to save Rose he stands down but when Blake threatens to kill Rose out of nowhere a sound is heard and Blake falls back covered in blood as Viper comes out of the shadows saving both Reaper and Rose. Now we have a distraught Rose who is shaken and in shock when she learns that Blake is dead as Viper assures her they will make sure Blake's death won't be tied to her. Rose is brought to the clubhouse as Reaper comes up with a plan to use Wes to take the fall for Blake's death. When West is told he is of no further use to Bullet, he has two choices end his life or he will be framed for killing Blake. Now the club has to deal with Fang who is acting weird when he informs his brothers that he set up a meeting with Bullet leaving his men confused and outraged, until they hear motorcycles approaching the clubhouse they are getting ready for a showdown. When all is revealed,Fang tells his brothers that he is going to give himself over to Bullet and that the club will be returning the money to him, Reaper and the others try to reason with Fang but with no success . Once Fang is allowed to say goodby to his brothers, he makes it known that this is the only way to keep his club safe as they are outnumbered, but he knows that they will have his back and he will do all he can to hold on until they come for him and take out Bullet. Now we are left with more questions as we wait for Fang's story. Will Bullet keep Fang alive in time for his club to rescue him? And who is this arrogant confrontational young woman held in the basement along with Fang and what part will she in his story? Now we are left with more questions as we wait for Fang's story. Fang, Steel Scorpions MC is a must read which I highly recommend!

This one isn’t as dark and gritty as the others of the series but it is just as good. Rose’s husband won’t sign her divorce papers even though he was cheating on her. She can’t believe he wants to stay in the marriage when he is clearly unhappy so out of the blue she calls her best friend, Caleb, with her husband alienated her from years ago. When Caleb gets the call he knows Rose needs him but he doesn’t make it easy on her because she dropped him so suddenly all those years ago with no explanation. Caleb a.k.a. Reaper has a lot of drama going on with his club Steel Scorpions and doesn’t want Rose being involved but when she proposes a fake engagement and tells her husband of it and Caleb goes along with it they all are involved now for better or worse. Will the people gunning for Caleb and his club leave Rose alone? Will Rose’s husband leave Caleb and his club alone?

Reaper is part of the Steel Scorpians the MC is still having problems with Devils Rage they need to get rid of bullet but before that happens Reaper gets a call from Rose. They had been best friends before she married and he had not herd from her in 7yrs. Rose had lost all contact with him and was ashamed but her husband was abusive and controlling how was she going to get away from him. Highly recommend this brilliant series looking forward to next book

It took yrs to realize that Rose really never loved her husband and the love of her life was her childhood best friend. Blake even knew that Caleb(Reaper) had feelings for Rose. Blake made sure that Rose ended all relationships and was only his. He stalked her after cheating on her, making her question herself. Caleb came in and saved her and finally both admitted that they were ment to be together.

This novel had a lot of up and down moments for me. One moment, I was completely sure I wouldn't keep reading it, the next I couldn't seem to put it down because I wanted to know what happened. In the end, I'm glad I stuck with it and finished it out.

With this book we’re getting closer to the nitty-gritty of why things are happening. Still some questions in my head - hopefully they’ll be answered, eventually.

No sabia que era el 5to libro de una saga , pero eso no impidio que lo termine en un dia , voy a leer la serie completa bien termine mis examenes.
Lo senti un poco apresurado , pero por un lado tiene sentido eso ya que lo senti muy relacionado al ¨siempre fuiste tu¨/ ¨no sabia que el amor de mi vida siempre estuvo al frente mio¨ vibes , por lo cual lo perdonamos.
Disfrute mucho este libro, me gusto que Caleb expresara su dolor con respecto a el goshting que le hizo Rose durante 7 años, muy apesar que siempre lo recalcara. Estuvo bien.
Tambien estuvo bueno que Rose se hiciera frente por ella misma ante Blake y no dejara que la vuelva a manipular
