This is a book we all need to hear. It teaches how God loves us, how unique each of us are. It teaches how to learn who we are and how to discover our purpose in this life. What the Lord has called us to do for His glory. We are all called to do some of the same things. But we each have a specific calling on our lives. Daniels teaches us how to find that purpose, that calling.

I differ on him in a couple of things. Jesus said to forgive 7 times 70, not 70 times. That is another way of saying that there isn’t a limit on how many times we are to forgive the same person. Nobody would literally need to be forgiven 490 times. After the death of Jesus, a believer would not be lost if that believer didn’t forgive. There is nothing that we can do to add to the finished work of Jesus.

A true believer is truly miserable if he or she doesn’t forgive, or doesn’t truly love. And nothing should be more important than God and His Word. We will not always be what we can be and nothing will cause God to stop loving us, yet if we are to continue to grow spiritually, we have to continue to feed ourselves spiritually. God will not be angry with His children, nor will He judge our sins. He did that when Jesus was on the cross!! CathyR

[AUDIOBOOK] 🎙️

Everything this man speaks is just pure gold! I’m a little bias because I’m in his personal coaching course, watch his church sermons, and have read his first book. So to me this book couldn’t go wrong regardless.

But nonetheless, I’ve recommended this book to those who were unfamiliar with Dharius Daniels and they found him to be refreshing, matter-of-fact, and overall an enjoyable read.

Finally, I have read a book on the topic of purpose that focuses more of getting to know yourself first before your calling. And might I add, getting to know God more, as well. Dr. Daniels provides simple insight into understanding “who you are” and your why from “whose you are”, in order to embrace you and then run with the knowledge of what you are to do.

Each chapter provides opportunities for you to sit quietly hanging out with Jesus, communing over the information, listening to Holy Spirit bring out what is important for you at this season of your life.

Dr. Daniels is a new writer to me. He did not fail to provide practical examples and organize the book in a way that was easy to read, grasp, as you progressed from one chapter to the next.

This book was a giveaway, and it didn’t influence my review. Therefore, this is my opinion. I enjoyed this book so much until I wrote more about it on my blog and posted on my podcast.

Literal Life Change Launched

Dr. Daniels writes with clarity and purpose. This book was more than just hearing about what God has called some great people to do, but it was a step by step clearly articulated instruction manual on discovering how every individual is able to understand and then become who we are designed to be. Strengthening the discovery of our unique definition is an examination of how we are design to personally solve a world problem. I am starting immediately with the actions to launch my unique design.

Great read on a challenging topic of how to identify our purpose and/or calling. We know God created us on purpose for a purpose. But what exactly is my purpose and what exactly is your purpose? It is unique for each of us and it is often a struggle to figure out. Dr. Daniel's does a nice job mapping out a way to discover and live out our calling.
