Things to know upfront: There is violence and adult language as well as moderately graphic sexual situations. This is the second book in the series.
Bernhart Smith awakens after a head injury. His ship is missing and among his remaining possessions are some photographs with limited information. Assuming he is still an assassin for his country, he sets off in search of the people and the places provided. This begins a series of events that has him questioning his sanity and abilities.
I enjoyed the book overall. There was something that was slightly off and would sometimes take me out of the story. Perhaps that was me and you will have a different reading experience.
