I knocked up my one-night stand. But I won’t let anyone tell me that was a mistake.
Well, it started as a one-night stand.
Veronica left the morning after with a promise to come knocking on my hotel room again the next time she came through Las Vegas. Color me surprised when she actually followed through the year after that. And the year after that.
Is the one-night-a-year stand a thing? Because we were it.
Until last night when Veronica showed up with a baby. Our baby. I don’t even know Veronica’s last name and now we have a child together.
I took one look into my daughter’s eyes and she had me. I wanted all of it. The big house with the perfect family. But Veronica isn’t convinced I’m serious.
Taking her body was the easy part. Claiming her heart is going to be a whole lot harder.
But I’m in.
Just a Fling is Kindle-melting hot, hilarious, and guaranteed to melt your heart!
Heartthrob Hotel - Four billionaire brothers and the women who steal their hearts! Just a Touch (Graham’s story) Just a Kiss (Hayden’s story) Just a Fling (Ira’s story) Just a Crush (Jonah’s story)
USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Tabatha Kiss is from Chicago, Illinois.
You can probably catch her huddled up in a hoodie, reading a good romance beneath a tree with her trusty husky by her side. She enjoys roller derby, sushi, and is always searching for her forever bad boy.
Ira has a yearly visitor that the staff has nicknamed 'Towel Girl'. Her actual name is Veronica. Ira is happily getting ready for her annual visit when she knocks on his door and surprises him with more than her sexy self.
Veronica has a bit of news for Ira. She is moving to Vegas and...she & Ira have a daughter.
Watching Ira adjust to this news... 1.) Because he's the over protective security minded Botsford brother and 2.) Because he realizes, with Hayden's help, that he's about to give their mother the best birthday present this year.
Veronica has a secret...but she also realizes that her daughter now has family, something Veronica doesn't have.
I loved Ira's story. Jonas is really gonna have to step up his game to top Ira. ;-)
Steamy, sweet, funny, connections to the rest of the Kissiverse, Tabatha delivers another fantastic story in this world!
I received an advance copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is a fun quick read wit ha sexy hero and a no nonsense female lead. Ira and Veronica AKA Towel Girl have met yearly for a weekend booty call. It was a casual arrangement that suited them both. However, this year Veronica shows up with more than just a suitcase. When Ira finds out her little surprise he is shocked and a little scared. Within in minutes of meeting his daughter he is all in. He is protective, sweet and goes a alpha on occasion. Veronica is relocating and running. She is not a quiet wallflower. She is confident and independent. Ira is the family/work gossip. He knows and pretty much shares news with all members. When he finds out that he is the subject of gossip, it is pretty funny. The wrestling match with Hayden was hilarious. The Botsford boys along with their parents are a fun group and I have enjoyed each story to the fullest. After reading each book, you can't wait for the next story. I voluntarily received this ARC for review.
I’m not sure why I haven’t added Tabatha to my fav authors list by now.....I haven’t read a book of hers I didn’t enjoy and I’ve read enough by now to know it’s not some fluke or one-off, I truly enjoy her stories and the way she writes them. She doesn’t need to go heavy or emotionally deep to create memorable reads that I actually want to read again one day. The Heartthrob Hotel series is my go-to when I need a break from the books that are hard on my heart......but it isn’t the only reason I space out reading each installment. Truth be told, I am simply postponing the ending of a series I have come to absolutely adore. But the time had come to get to know Ira better and I couldn’t wait to see where this surprise baby romance would take me.....
Going into this series (since I read book 5 first), Ira was the brother I was least interested in. It’s not that he was a bad character or anything, he just didn’t seem as interesting as his brothers. I was more captivated by the surprise baby element of his story. I guess I shouldn’t have assumed anything about him because he became the very brother to do the impossible.....dethrone daddy Kingston from his spot as fav male of the series. I’m still a little shook by that, but he completely won me over and stole my heart with his book. Don’t be mistaken, Kingston & Fiona’s story is still very much my favorite of the series BUT I was 100% certain after Hayden’s book that none of them had what it took to knock their dad off his pedestal. I was oh so wrong.
Book Facts: Told in: Dual POV, present day. About: The third installment of the Heartthrob Hotel series is an interconnected stand-alone that features the third-born Botsford son, Ira. Ira is all about structure, as a former marine and head of security at the Las Vegas location he likes things a certain way. That’s why his yearly romp with Veronica is perfect for him....the same time every year for a weekend of meaningless & amazing sex. That’s until she shows up with an extra person in tow, an adorable baby girl with the Botsford eyes. One look and he wants the white picket fence and 2.5 kids....but can he get Veronica to buy into his HEA? Safe Read? Yes. Ends in: HFN-ending with a slightly extended epilogue (couple is featured in future installments as well).
My Thoughts: There are so many good things I could say about this book. Everything from the interesting storyline, the characters, & the entire Heartthrob Hotel “world” are worthy of praise. Instead, I’m going to touch on just a few important points.
First, IRA....the one to do the impossible. So what was it about him that made him worthy to take Kingston’s top spot? It’s not just one thing, but so many. He has this fierce protectiveness that the other brothers were missing. I loved that he is so sure of himself yet he allows the reality of being a father show him as vulnerable. I loved how he respected Veronica & her wishes. There is a scene in which he tells her to “use him” which was equal parts sexy and so incredibly sweet.
Veronica may not quite have had what it took to take Fiona’s spot BUT she was easily my fav of the brothers’ heroines so far. To put it simply, it was so easy to like her. She didn’t play games, didn’t do the immature drama, and she was the first that truly acted like a mature woman who made her own decisions. I loved how everything she did was with Michelle being the driving force behind it. I loved that she never pressured Ira into being a dad, she left it open for him.
As far as drama, I appreciated that there was something there to add a level of suspense & intensity to the story YET she didn’t go overboard or let it overtake the romance side of things.
But what will continue to be one of my most favorite things series-wide is the familial bond featured in all the stories. How we see the Botsford’s as a unit, see how close they are and feel how much they love and protect each other. Also how much the boys love & cherish their mom.....there is nothing better than a man that treats their mama like a queen. But even more than that, I look forward to and adore the relationship between the brothers. Their back and forth banter, their “fights” and horseplay.....they are the perfect comedic relief and I know it’s going to be what I miss the most. It’s a fictional family within a fictional “world”, yet it has a way of making you wish the Botsfords were real and you were part of their family.
My Verdict: I’m actually shocked more readers haven’t discovered this series bc it’s so worthy of more attention. Like I’ve said before, it’s not deep emotional reads BUT she has mastered creating stories that capture your interest without all of that anyways. I want more people to read not only this installment BUT the entire series....you can thank me later :)
“Same time next year?” I wink. “Consider it done.”
Ira did not disappoint me! Just when he was getting everything prepared for Towel Girl and hearing all the gossip about her Ira is kinda stunned but it’s expected and he doesn’t complain and it’s just too funny all the questions he’s getting regarding Towel Girl.
But Ira wasn’t expecting a little visitor coming along with V, but Ira is a man of many talents and he takes to this surprise like the man he is! With so much pride and equal parts care he does everything he can to be there even when V needs him the most!
Just A Fling is a sweet and sexy read. I absolutely love Tabatha's books. Those Botsford brothers are quite the handful... Gotta love 'em. Looking forward to Jonah's story.
Third in the series and it ended very boring for. Never felt this couple had passion. Nothing exciting. Read it because other family still take a part in the story.
Just A Fling is an awesome installment in the Heartthrob Hotel series featuring the Botsford brothers. This is Ira’s story and it’s hilarious, because, well he’s the biggest gossip since we met him in the first two books, Just A Touch and Just A Kiss.
Ira Botsford discovers that almost every staff member in his family’s luxury hotel knows a bit of his business. Yup, during the same time in September for the past 4 years, Ira orders extra towels and disappears for the weekend. The staff is betting Ira’s hot and heavy sexcapade is with a woman they’ve coined “the Towel Girl.” Ira finds the weekend doesn’t go as planned when Veronica brings their 3-month old daughter and a male nanny in tow.
It’s mind-numbing reality as Ira faces unexpected fatherhood, and trying to keep the news from staff and family members is quite a feat. Ha, being the center of gossip doesn’t quite feel so good! Meanwhile, Ira can’t help falling in love with his daughter, he never imagined himself with a family. When Ira learns about Veronica’s stalker, he’s determined to protect her at all cost.
Veronica Robb never expected a meaningless fling to become more. Her daughter is an unexpected miracle and sharing a family with Ira, the man she’s had a 4-year fling with is a good possibility. She’s always been attracted to Ira’s perfect blend of gruff exterior, heartwarming affection and fiery passion. I love the funny banter and humor throughout the book with Ira’s brothers, staff and family. I especially love the easy competition the guys have to come up with the best birthday gift for Ira’s mother. Boy, does Ira have a surprise! You won’t want to miss this story and a sigh-worthy and satisfying ending. I am so looking forward to the last book of this series. Great job, Ms. Kiss. I received and voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy of this book.
This the 3rd story about the hot and sexy Botsford’s brothers. This one is about Ira who is an ex-military man who returns home to work in the family hotel as Head of Security. While serving in the service he meets a special woman, Veronica a nurse and they meet once a year at the Hotel for a night of no strings. The staff nickname her “Towel Girl” as Ira request extra towels each year on the same week in September. Ira is the third brother and enjoys to gossip about everything to do with his brothers and they genuinely care about one another. I enjoyed how they all try to win with the best birthday gift for their mother each year! Veronica shows up this year along with a baby, Ira’s baby girl, Michele. Ira is surprised and calm and is head over heals once he finds comfort with it all. Ira and Veronica get to know one another and things move quickly with them even when Veronica tries to move forward carefully. Ira is all in and makes moves to show Veronica he cares for both his girls and wants nothing more than to care and protect them. Once all the brothers learn Ira’s secret does he get a taste of his own and Veronica finally finds a family that she never had before. The previous stories are great reads and you get to catch with those characters in this story. I’m not sure a can pick a favorite but I must say Ira is up there. Anxiously waiting for the last story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This is the third book in this series, and first, let me shout out how much I love the Botsford Brothers. They actually deserve a shout out, instead of just saying it, or I guess I should really give the shout out to the author, Tabatha Kiss, for bringing these hot, sexy, funny men to life. You do not have to have read the first two to enjoy this one, but once you have read this one, you are going to enjoy it so much, that you will want to read them too. That is a promise. This is the story of Ira, the third born, who used to be in the military, and is now head of security at his family's high end hotel in Los Vegas. Veronica, whom he met while in the sevice, is his yearly fling, when she comes to town for a conference each year, until, she shows up with Ira's baby in hand. You think you probably know the story from here, but I am here to tell you, that you do not. This is a story that you must read. You will do your ahs over baby Michelle, especially with the four brothers, you might need a fan or two for several of the scenes, you will laugh out loud lots of times, but the biggest thing is that once you start reading this book, you will not want to put it down, because it is that good. Just in case you can not tell, I love, love, love this book and this series, so I highly recommend it.
What an amazing instalment on the Botsford brothers this one featuring Ira, who after this read is now my favorite of the brothers but there is still one more to go. Ira, known as the gossip at the hotel and head of security gets a yearly visit from Veronica, who the hotel staff have dubbed Towel Girl. This is their fourth year meeting up, at the same time in September and at the same time at night but this year Veronica brings someone else to the fling, someone that Ira had no idea about....will he accept this new turn of events. I LOVED this read, the humour was spot on with the banter and was constant that had me laughing out loud throughout the read. The steam..oh my..the steam, the sparks and the ease of how well they got along....loved it. I also loved the no over the top drama between them which made the story flow beautifully and perfectly...loved it. I loved how Ira took to his part and acceptance of the situation w/o hesitation and melted my heart. I loved how easy going and honest Veronica was and didn’t beat around the bush. I loved the interaction with the brothers and how they teased and supported each other. I LOVED everything about this read and I can’t wait for the last brother and his story. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by the author)...
3.75 stars
This is a quick and fast paced read.
Ira is the third brother of Botsford clan and the big gossip monger ;)
I really liked getting to know more about Ira but we don’t really get any of history except for small pieces that pertained to Veronica. I liked Veronica, but we also don’t get much background on her (friends, family, history never discussed). The book starts when Veronica comes back for their yearly fling and ends up giving Ira more than he could ever imagine.
And I’m not sure if the Randall storyline was necessary; it felt like it was an add on to give the story more drama, but wasn’t given much attention.
I absolutely adored Derrick and Michelle; Veronica was very lucky in finding such an interesting employee.
This story was still enjoyable but I find I’m looking forward to Jonah’s story next.
Possible Spoiler:
To me, certain parts of the book did seem a little out there; for example, your yearly fling says your a dad and you automatically accept it as truth without getting confirmation when you don’t even know the woman’s last name and you come from a wealthy as well as well known family.
This book gets ALL the stars from me!! I absolutely LOVED this book. I have a secret love for pregnancy/baby books. I can't get enough. I was expecting one thing when I went in to read this story but I got something completely different! I love that it caught me off guard a little bit. The story is on the shorter side but it was such a fantastic read.
Ira is a bit of a gossip. He is head of security for his families hotels and now he realizes what it is like to be on the receiving end on the hotel gossip chain. Ira is a little rough around the edges, ex military, but I really loved his character. Veronica is a nurse, who only comes to Vegas once a year. But this year she has a surprise for Ira. Veronica is a strong, heartfelt character. I really liked Ira and Veronica, or dubbed by Hayden - Ironinca, together. They burned hot and it made their story really enjoyable to read.
I liked Derrick as well in this story, as well as all the usual suspects. This story warmed my heart and I loved every inch of it. I can't wait to read more from Tabatha Kiss. I am really interested to see who Jonah falls for! Bring it on!
Genre: Romance - Accidental Pregnancy, Secret Baby, Suspense, Comedy, Billionaire, Friends-with-Benefits, Friends-to-lovers Standalone: Yes (but even better if you've read Books 1 and 2 Part of a Series: Yes Book 3 (of 4) in the Hearthrob Hotel series) POV: Ira and Veronica Steam Level: Quite toasty 5/5
I love this series! We met Ira in both Graham and Hayden's book. He's the mysterious gossip, protector and defender, quiet and aloof with hints of his hidden side. Just a Fling allows us to see this wild side. I love, love, loved him, his reaction Veronica and Michelle, the interactions between him and the employees and the scene with Hayden and ultimately Graham and Jonah.
Tabatha Kiss does a fantastic job allowing us to see more of Graham and Hayden's HEA and alluding to Jonah's fall into love. Fans of Tabatha Kiss will recognize a reference for Vincent and squeal in delight. The Tabbyverse shows how they know each other.
If you haven't read Tabatha Kiss I highly recommend doing so. Just a Fling is a great way to start you addiction.
I’ve been waiting for Ira’s story and man oh man did Tabatha make it worth the wait. This series is amazing, I love the Botsford boys and they just keep getting better and better. I though Graham was my favorite, but I think Ira is creeping up there pretty quickly to my favorite Botsford! Ira, he’s the cool, calm, collected brother, he’s structured, he knows what needs to be done in the security aspect of things for the hotel, but life in general, well… Ira met Veronica while in Burma, they hit it off, fooled around and meet once a year at the hotel, but this year, it’s extra special, she’s brought someone with her that Ira has no idea about. No spoilers, I don’t want to give anything away here, you will be sucked in from the start, Ira and Veronica just click together, now if they can find a happily ever after that would be the icing on the cake!! Loved it and now I can’t wait for Jonah’s story, I have a feeling that Tabatha will be knocking that one out of the park! I voluntarily reviewed this book.
This is the third installment of the Heartthrob Hotel series and this one is Ira’s story. Ira is a former marine and now head of security for the Botsford hotel located in Vegas. Ira keeps to himself and is all business but the staff at the hotel has noticed that he has a visitor once a year and they have deemed her “Towel Girl”.
Veronica goes to Vegas yearly for a medical conference she attends and spends one night of that conference having out of this world sex with Ira. This year she has someone in tow so when he opens his suite to her he gets a big surprise or actually it’s a rather small surprise.
This was a cute storyline. Not quite the typical surprise baby trope. I really enjoyed this couple. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Ira since he’s rather quiet and to himself but I really liked him a bunch and Veronica was also a wonderful character. She was mature & didn’t play games.
I am thoroughly enjoying this family of boys. The Botsford brothers very entertaining with their hilarious banter between one another.
Veronica and Ira… their story is a fun read! The one thing that made me laugh the most was the fact that Ira had to swallow a spoonful of his own medicine (or, to be more precise, several spoons) ... to experience what it feels like to be the center of attention and the topic of gossip… just priceless!
Veronica is a vulnerable and kind of broken yet very strong woman who met Ira while working as a nurse with the Peace Corps overseas. Ira is the biggest gossip all over Las Vegas and a pain in the a** in his brothers’ lives. So he totally deserves to be on the receiving end when his brothers find out about his present for their mother’s birthday…
This is such a hilarious read that I could not rein in my giggles and laughter most of the time. Of course there are more serious, even thrilling parts in this fantastic romance, too, but most of the time it is an easily flowing funny novel that I highly recommend!
Absolutely loved this quick book. This is the third book in the Heartthrob Hotel series. Ira is one of the Botsford Brothers (Just a Touch and Just a Kiss) and every year in September, he has a woman visit him while she is at a conference. The staff call her "towel girl" and it is hilarious when he finds out and how he tries to talk his way out of this. Loved Ira and his brothers. This book is funny, sexy with slight intrigue. Read what happens when Veronica (towel girl) shows up this time, with something else... You won't need to read the previous books in this series to know what is going on but I do recommend them as well since they are all good reads. Loved the first one - Just a Touch as it was a bit heartbreaking. Love this author and if you haven't read Muffin Top I recommend that as well. I volunarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Definitely recommend this one!!
These Botsford brothers are the best and I just love them. This is Ira and Veronica's story. Ira is the third brother and a retired Marine. If you've read the previous books, you will know that Ira's nickname is 'gossipy b*|€h". This time around he is the one being gossiped about. Veronica is a nurse who met Ira overseas and they have been seeing each other every September for the past four years. She gets nicknamed the 'towel girl', due to the extra towels Ira asks for. This year she comes with a very big surprise. Ira takes the surprise very well and rises to the challenge. He is sweet and also very protective over who he cares about. These stories keep getting better than the next and Graham's story was fabulous, so you know this will be fantastic. I highly recommend..end reading this book along with the previous books, you will not regret it. These books will make you laugh and you may get a little teary eyed also.
Ira Botsford, in one word how do you sum him up. Protective, captivating, alpha all the way, so many ways to describe him but then again you can say that about all the brothers in this family.
Ira is head of security and once a year "towel girl" comes by and rocks his whole. Only this time, she brings a happy unexpected surprise. Trying to figure out if this is the right thing to do Veronica knocks on the door and when she is greeted by Ira with that smile on his face and she knows there is no turning back. From then on, Ira takes the rein on the daddy experience to a whole new level. One look at Michelle and he is all in.
Seeing a man like a Botsford man will melt anyone in a puddle. reading the series we still get all the brothers joining in but it's down right lol when they are all together. the hard part about reading about these guys is which is your favorite.
Ira Botsford loves to tell secrets until faced with one of his own. He thought no one knew about his yearly tryst, but this year his annual fling will be exposed and in the most unexpected way. When Veronica shows up she’s brought a surprise for Ira and, boy, what a surprise!! What they thought was just a casual relationship turns into be so much more. Ira and Veronica’s love affair was destined to grow after the miracle they created. Not only is Ira willing to step up, he also steps in, with the help of his brothers, to alleviate Veronica of a problem that has followed her to Vegas.
I knew Ira’s story would be a good one, and I was not disappointed! This is a wonderfully engaging romance. You can’t help but enjoy reading this delightful tale full of charm, fun, a touch of drama, and lots of steamy passion. It is an appealing read you’ll find hard to put down. I highly recommend this endearing romance! Can’t wait to read Jonah’s story next!!
I received this book in advance for a voluntary honest review. Loved it! This book is all about Ira Botsford, book 3 in the series following his brothers, Graham and Hayden. It’s is head of security of one of his family’s hotels and he is known as the gossip king by all. The staff know he has a lady friend overnight the same day each year whom they dub “towel girl” because he always asks for extra towels. Only this year Ira gets more than he expected, he meets his baby girl for the first time when his yearly fling, Veronica, shows up for their evening. In shock and unsure the couple get to know each other in a more personal sense but they also turn up the heat in the bedroom and the bathroom and ... Veronica is hiding a secret and when Ira finds out he gathers his brothers and they handle the problem together. Oh to meet a Botsford brother is a fantasy for sure, which is clear when you start the book.
Oh, Ira! * Welcome To Swoonviile * The Botsford Plaza is abuzz with Ira's annual visit from his illustrious "towel girl." Being on the other side of the rumor mill is a new experience, especially when his annual one nighter ( Veronica ) gives him a helluva surprise this time! Setting off a chain of events that will be sure to keep the Botsford in juicy gossip for quite a while! Dwah! Be still my heart! I swear the Botsford brothers keep getting better! 'Just A Fling' is an oh so sexy read * rawr *, with butterfly-inducing, laugh out loud sweetness wrapped in a heart squeezer of a hug romance! Another well crafted, unique story that deserves more than five stars! An absolute must read, along with the others in fantastic books in the Heartthrob Hotel Series! I'm already fangirling for 'Just A Crush'- Jonah's story..-eeek!
Unexpected pregnancy trope with a billionaire CEO? Say less. I liked how the H was so chill about the whole thing. And when he found out that he has a daughter he got into this “protective dad” mood and it was so amazing to see him care for Veronica and the baby so much. Veronica is such a strong person for going though pregnancy on her own and for not holding it against H. Also few things about side character- the Nanny. Completely in love with this guy. He’s such a cutie and I can see that he definitely does a good job doing what he does. I’m glad that Ver found him and got his help. They’re both amazing friends together! The H brothers- after they found about about his daughter it was so messy. All of them are such gossiping girls😭 I loved their reactions to the new little girl in the family. So so sweet. Amazing read, cute, fun. Everything I need to say!
I absolutely love the Botsford brothers! Ira Botsford was no exception. While serving in the army, Ira meets the beautiful Veronica Robb. Their chemistry is instant and they decide to meet every year in Las Vegas where Veronica is scheduled to attend a conference. On a Tuesday that Veronica is due to meet in Ira's hotel room, she brings a surprise - in a baby carseat! She gave birth to Ira's daughter a few months back, a result of their last "fling." After one look at baby Michelle's brown Botsford eyes, Ira takes charge and vows to look after both Veronica and Michelle. The book was a quick read that I could not put down! I easily finished the story in one sitting. Can't wait for the next installment!
***ARC received in exchange for an honest review***
This is a wonderful, entertaining romance and I really enjoyed reading it It is about: two people (Veronica, a nurse) & (Ironica aka Ira, head of security for the family’s hotel) These two people have spent one night a year together for the last three years but this night will turn out totally different compared to the previous ones. There is: a little drama, some intrigue, humor, well-meaning mischievous brothers (Hayden, Graham & Jonah), naturally a baddie (Randall), secrets, surprises, shock, advice, memories, investigations, threats, loving parents, excitement, happiness, contentment, love & some steamy scenes. The plot is well-written & entertaining with intriguing characters & I would recommend it.
This is fun and flirty story. We get to here from all the brother Botsford's. The banter between them all is very funny, in my opinion. It's always good to hear from Graham, Hayden and Jonah. In my opinion I think Tabatha Kiss does a good job of writing the brothers, I can see brothers giving each other a hard time like they do. Ira and Veronica's relationship is comfortable yet they really don't know each other. I really enjoyed getting to know them. My only complaint is there was not enough suspense for my taste, but it was still a fun story. In my opinion Tabatha Kiss did not disappoint me, I just wanted more suspense. This is a fast read. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy.
Another amazing read in the Heartthrob Hotel series. I don’t know how Tabatha Kiss does it, but her words are just perfect. Each character is fun, easy to love and so developed that it’s hard not to love them right from the first page. And the Botsford brothers are no different. I loved their connection and the closeness they have with each other, not to mention how hot they sound on paper and the fun quips they have with each other. This book was definitely swoon worthy. My heart just melted for Ira, Veronica and little Michelle, not to mention how panty melting the other brothers were when they all met her. It was full of humour and emotions that I loved right until the very last page. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for book 4.
I really loved this story!! It was a fun read. It flowed very well and drew me in from beginning to end. Ira gets a huge surprise at the beginning of the book but I loved how he dealt with it. Veronica was great as well. This story has great characters and while we don't see too much of the other Botsford brothers we do get little bits and pieces, which is an added touch for anyone who has read the previous two books. This does stand on its own. The sex is explicit but not where the focus of the story is. There was plenty to grab and keep my attention the whole time. This was just an easy story to read. I'm excited to get the last Botsford brother's story! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This was a great, quick read! The writing flowed well, and I loved the characters. Ira was always a great secondary character in the other books, and his story did not disappoint! He was great with Veronica, and I loved their chemistry. I was not a fan of Veronica at first, because I'm not a fan of keeping a pregnancy from the father. She knew his name and where he worked, but still didn't tell him. Since the story didn't linger on that point, I did get over it, and I liked Veronica towards the end. The brothers are hilarious! I loved them giving Ira a hard time after he was a pain in the butt to them. I can't recommend this story, and this series, enough! I voluntarliy reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
