Utter perfection. This is the finale to Republic Commando that we’ve been waiting for and I very much doubt that Traviss herself could’ve written it better.
It is a masterpiece of storytelling with only one piece of the puzzle missing; where is Sev? Is he safe? Is he alright?

If you’ve been hanging for a cliff ever since Traviss abandoned the franchise, then do yourself a favour and read this, you will not be disappointed.

Devastatingly satisfying conclusion to one of my favourite sagas. Should have been published and licensed, it was that good!

Followed up nicely on the threads left open at the end of 501st and gave the characters from the RC novels a bitter sweet but very satisfying ending. I expect had I read CW: No Prisoners and Children of the Jedi before this I would give it a 5/5 but because there are so many characters connected to those books that I was meeting for the first time, the story felt a bit crowded though I will say the storylines and groups of characters were weaved together near seamlessly.
