So freaking good. Motok is an alien warrior who has a mission to find and save human women being kidnapped and enslaved. Kerra is a human minding her own business on Earth waiting for her sister, Kacie, to come back from space. Motok saves Kerra from being kidnapped and they fall for each other fast. There’s lots of action and twists. I really enjoyed it. Can’t wait for the next book.

Wow, I will admit that I absolutely enjoyed reading this excellent & amazingly, suspenseful Sci-Fi alien romance that has some dark undertones. The plot is well-written & full of intrigue. The world building & scene description are excellent. The well-developed characters are quite unique with strong-willed personalities & some of them have a determination to succeed at any cost, they react with devastating consequences to the enemies and/or the current situation they find themselves in with. There is good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a Braxtharian Commander (Motok) is on a mission to find & save human females then he comes across a human female (Kerra) & saves her from being taken only to discover that she is his Venya (true mate), a corrupt Galactic Consortium, various kinds of aliens, alien slave traders, Braxtharian warriors, twists & turns, suspense, intrigue, drama, action, adventure, missions, slavery, corruption, deceit, betrayal, greed, danger, threats, villains, confrontations, conflict, violence, brutality, protectiveness, mating call, determination, attacks, decisions, devious plans, manipulations, attempted assault, surprises, discovery, determination, love, steamy scenes & a very interesting conclusion. I look forward to the next book in this series with great anticipation.

Holy Veet what a story! Mot and Kerra’s story had taken us on an outer space adventure filled with non stop action and romance. These Braxtharian Warriors are men that you want to stay on the good side of that’s for sure and when they vow to protect you.. incredible the lengths they will go. I don’t read many alien romances but this story kept me wanting more and never putting my kindle down. I’m excited to see what book two has for us in the future.

I totally loved reading every page of this story and am itching to read the next one.
This authors imagination and the way she tells it so well that you can almost see it in front of you like a movie on the screen is awesome.
The love and protectiveness of this species and of their mate is awesome but to be honest as much as I loved reading the whole story what happened at the end blew me away.
Very entertaining read and I believe it was well worth my time.

Motok has been given a mission to find all human women who have been taken and sold by the slavers who bear the mark of the Vindar on their hands. When he is shown a video of a female who is raped and murdered by the slavers Motok is now on a mission to find all earth women who are in captivity and kill their slavers and return the women to Vindar. If he doesn’t, their planet is under threat.
Motok finds no women in captivity and when they get close to finding three life forms, the slavers kill them before they can be retrieved. The closest they get is finding three humans, one male and the two females, but they are killed before they get them away, the man lives long enough to ask them to let his family know that he tried to save her, he then says to Motok to find the Hargraves. He hands them an insignia from a uniform of the Interstellar Space Program.
Motok goes to earth and tracks down Kerra Hargraves and is watching her to find out why she resembles the woman in the video he was shown. Then one night he sees she is being attacked by the slavers and he goes to rescue her. He manages to kill the slavers, but he knows she is still in danger. Motok discovers while rescuing Kerra that she is his Venya which is she is his soul/bonded mate although this is forbidden for him to bond with her.
What happens in the rest of the story is lots of action and the bond between Kerra and Motok grows stronger and they finally mate. Their happiness is in danger and her life is constantly at risk. There is corruption in their governing bodies and there is a plan to breed human women with alien races. Then Kerra discovers that her sister Kacie is still alive. Reading the rest of the series is a must do. Will Voltus, Motor’s first be able to uncover their plot of cloning and bring them to justice and save the human females? Will Voltus be there when Kacie needs him? I guess we will have to wait for the next book.

Cheese and crackers, I love this series! Did you read "Seekers, the Last Oracle" in the "Summer Solstice Anthology"? If so, then you'll remember being introduced to Motok. If you didn't, not to worry. Nikki Landis has brought Motok and his crew to life with such vitality. And the chemistry between him and Kerra is HOT in a way only instant mate recognition can produce. I think what really solidified this book for me was the raw heart-felt emotion between Motok and Kerra. Such love and loyalty was all-consuming and just left me in a puddle. There is a vial and evil plot that runs through the story with bits and pieces of information being revealed along the way. Oh, but there's more and that's where we find the cliffhanger. I can't wait to read "Scarred".

Vindicator was an amazing short read with tons of action and angst. What's not to like about a HOT silver alien and a sassy human who come together at the worst of times. Nikki Landis is my go to author when I'm in the mood to read an intriguing sci-fi, paranormal or alien romance! Loved it!

What a spectacular story! Motok, Braxtharian Commander, and alien warrior, is on a mission to save human women from being kidnapped and enslaved. Motok saves Kerra from being kidnapped and their connection is undeniable. Their story fascinated and ensnared me, it's action packed, full of twists and turns, and at every page, I thought it couldn't get any better, but it did, right up until the last page. A fantastic story and one you definitely need to read, I highly recommend it. I'm so looking forward to book #2.

A pleasure to read. Of course sci-fi romances are my favorites. This author has rapidly become one of my favorites. It is action packed and the scenes are hot and steamy. She has created a whole new world. But I hope there is a continuation. What becomes of the main characters and the First who resigned his post to bring the corrupt to justice. Can't wait to read the next story. A must read for the genre lovers.

One of my fave authors with another stupendous book!! The first in the series was well written with people that suck you in to wanting more! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole alien warrior and kidnapped human theme! I do not feel it was a typical book but so much more!

Wow, this is a really great read and highly recommend. Our characters are Motok and Kerra, a Braxtharian Warrior and a kidnapped human. I don't like spoilers so won't go deep into this story but she is off-limits to him, but he wants her, no doubt about that. She is struggling to survive and no longer knows what to believe but as always life takes a twist. You have to read this one, it is a great read and the first in a series.

I have said it before and I will say it again OMG another Guilty Pleasure.
Alien Romances are my total Achilles Heel I devour this genre at an alarming rate and love nothing better than being able to sit down in one sitting and get through a great story. Vindicator (Braxtharian Warriors #1) fits that criteria perfectly. Hot Aliens, Brave little human females and bad guys. Okay yes there is fight scenes and other action too. A totally satisfying read and yes I will be looking forward to devouring Book 2 as soon as I can.

Vindicator I thought was pretty awesome.
But then again I tend to think that all of Nikki Landis’ books are awesome.
So it’s a big HECK YEAH I most definitely do recommend this book because I can honestly guarantee you will love it.

Despite getting a little lost in some areas (PNR newbie) I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and the fact that it took me a bit longer to go through than my normal genre pace this story is all Alpha it makes you wish you were part of that reality for just a moment I'm excited to see where the next book takes us

A beautiful story about Kerra and Motok. Motok is a Braxtharian Commander who saves Kerra from being kidnapped by slavers. The book is amazing and really hard to put down once started. Loved reading this. Looking forward to the next one. Thanx.

Humans being kidnapped, huge corruption

Motok and his brothers discover the corruption is wide and deep and what is happening to the human women is disgusting and needs to be stopped.

This was a interesting alien romance adventure. The storyline was interesting and the characters are great. If you enjoy a good alien romance adventure with great characters then this story is for you.

This was a fantastic read. From the beginning to the end I was hooked. It's got action, love, suspense, and mystery. An alien sci-fi read that does not disappoint. Definitely recommend.

I just have to say that I really love this author. She has now become a favorite of mine and I had no clue til I started reading her books. I have never been one to read about aliens or space books however, there will be a few that call to me and this is one of them. Let me just say OH MY GOD I WANT A BRAXTHARIAN WARRIOR TO MYSELF. With that being said, I floved this book. So I was hooked immediately after reading Motok in the first chapter. He is a warrior and protector and all things that stand for good. Then you meet Kerra who is human and being hunted by bad guys in which she had no idea about. Then one day everything changes and in comes the hero Motok. You can tell immediately that he has taken the whole protector thing to a new level but why? Then Motok and Kerra get on his ship and head to Vindar to find out why humans are being taken. Only to find out that something else is going on. They are being chased through space. Why? Ohhh that part is a good question and you find out when you read the book. There is betrayal and tragedy and there is love. When I got to the end, my mind was blown with all the information I read. The ending gutted me and know I have to wait for a while til the next book comes out. If you are sensitive to some things you may want some tissues nearby cause you will need it. Nikki Landis, I love you but I really need the next book soon.

Veet! What will Nikki Landis come up with next? Tok and Kerra are an Alien and a Human (capitalized for a reason), who literally speak different languages, yet this story!
Tok is sent to save Kerra from slavers from other alien races, but things may not always be what they seem. I’m trying to figure out how to write a spoiler-free review, and it’s not possible! There’s constantly action, there’s constantly twists, it’s a Nikki Landis book so you know there’s going to be amazing sex... Also, just when you think things can’t get any stranger, they do.

The scars, scales and slime all perfectly described,allowing me to see each of the new alien creatures she has created.

Fantastic Alien Love Story!
What an amazing, action packed alien love story. This story is fast paced and full of suspense, intrigue and a whole lot of sexy aliens. I was fully captivated and highly entertained with Motok and Kerra’s story. The chemistry these two have right from their first meeting is intense and highly combustible. They can’t deny the attraction they have for one another. Their story had me on the edge of my seat anticipating what would happen next. I couldn’t put it down.

This was an awesome book that I really enjoyed. The story and characters grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn't stop reading. I loved the characters and watching them grow together, they were well written and went well together. I found this book amazing with great word building making me feel apart of the story and watching it unfold in front of me. A definite must read for any fan and I can't wait to read more from this author!!!

Kerra is almost kidnpped by alien slavers, but is saved by Motok. He must take her to the Council - but she is his fated mate. She is a marked female, and he has always been taught that females like her hold the salvation not only for his people, but also hers. He cant fight his duty.
When she is taken from him by force, and he finds that he has been lied to, he will do anything to protecy her. Will he be able to keep her safe yet again? Will they be able to have thier life together as mates? Loved it!

I love alien warrior romances. They allow our imagination to push beyond what mere humans can do, especially with someone like Motok, the Braxtharian Commander. I loved how he was all alpha, yet totally swoon worthy, with a big protective heart. Kerra found herself lost and alone, but Motok wasn't about to let her be used. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I would've liked to see the chemistry between them explode earlier, but this was still a highly entertaining read!
