Rising Together is the first book in the Prosperity series written by K.M. Sparks and Christopher Cole. This YA fiction is a tale of two best friends who did everything in their power to stay together. Tim and Haze have gone through a lot, but the ultimate realization on their parts with the help of two strangers is the core of the narrative.
This is a fast-paced drama perfect for young readers. The language is lucid, and the narration is flawless. I recommend it and can't wait to read the next part to know if these two end up together or not?

✨"Rising Together" is an amazing book written by the author Christopher Cole and K. M. Sparks on friendship. The core idea of this book is friendship, friendship for life, and this story mainly fluctuates around two best friends, Tim and Haze. Despite having poles apart personality they are that kind of best of friends since a very very long time that even they can't imagine their life without each other.
✨That's the kind of best friendship one crave for. Everything was going smooth with them because they we're having each other's back, they're there for each other and with each other in every phase of life be it of hardship or phase until the moment arrives when Haze finds out about the harsh realities of Tim which he never discussed about. It was when Haze finds out about the violent realities of Tim's scurrilous, home environment.

Tim is a young boy living in an abusive situation. His father is an alcoholic who verbally and physically abuses his family. Tim’s mother tells him and his brother to keep their situation a secret so that they are not separated. Keeping his home life a secret causes Tim to act out at school and get into trouble. His best friend, Haze, has a supportive family and excels in school. When Tim’s life turns upside down, Haze stands by his side and supports him through his transition.
Authors Sparks and Cole have a writing style that any reader would enjoy. The characters show substantial development throughout the book. Readers will enjoy watching the relationship between Tim and Haze grow into something more than best friends. Their relationship is one that teenage readers will be able to relate to.

This is the third book by the author and the author leaves a sparkle in whichever genre he writes.
Such a heart-warmimg story of two kids, Tim and Haze. Like others, their relationship also have ups and downs but the way they stay together is beautiful, it portrays how young love look like. “Rising Together” is the first book in the new ‘Prosperity’ series by Christopher Cole & K.M. Sparks. With themes of friendship, bullying, adoption, abuse, and young love, it’s a coming of age tale that will appeal to all ages.
The story follows Timber (Tim) and Paisley (Haze), two twelve-year-old-soon-to-be teens that have been friends forever. If opposites attract, these two are model representations. Tim is an outgoing lad, steadfastly known for standing up to bullies and protecting the underdogs. Haze is a sweet, shy girl on the receiving end of a bully determined to make her life miserable. Tim helps Haze learn to stand up for herself and Haze helps Tim improve his grades—it’s the perfect friendship, or so it seems. But when Haze discovers Tim is living in an abusive home, she unwittingly instigates a chain of events that could change their relationship forever.
I love the premise for this story. It’s a bittersweet reminder of first love and captures that deep desperation one has while caught up in the midst of “puppy love.” Remember that feeling? Tim and Haze are characters complete with flaws, likeability, and the naivete that stems from experiencing moments and events in life for the first time. While I genuinely liked the characters, there are some identity issues. They sometimes appear younger than their twelve years, but more often than not, they present as being much older, at least at the sixteen-year mark. This is a minor point of contention, as people mature at different rates. It was just something I struggled with at times because there are significant developmental differences between a twelve-year-old and a sixteen-year-old. I also found a few inconsistencies in the storyline and grammatical errors that, if addressed, would take the story from good to great.
Overall, being the first in a series, I found “Rising Together” sets the stage nicely for upcoming books and fans of coming of age tales and adolescent love will enjoy “Rising Together” by Christopher Cole & K.M. Sparks.

I just love any kind of stories which portrays love, and this been such a great pick for me. A perfect teenage lovestory book. Isn't the most beautiful thing of this world is falling in love, definitely it is. This book will remind you of how young love is. A great page turner and wonderful story. Writing is totally magnificent. Presenting such a passionate and most loved genre with so much perfection really deserves nothing but alot of applauds. Language is way perfect to read and understand easily. Narration is just awesome but sometimes it can be felt hard which can be ignorable. Characters and it's characterization is just wow, and it's the best aspect of this book for me.

They both were very close & best friends. Talking about characteristics, Tim was very reactive in nature who gets involved in almost everything even on the things which he can avoid, on the other hand Haze is shy bookworm girl. All the things were normal until Haze get to know about Tim's father, Tim's father was alcoholic and he ocassionaly abuses physically and verbally to every family member including Tim who get abused by his father. His mother thought tim to keep it a secret. With knowing truth about Tim's father, Haze started to take stands for him and all she wanted was to get him out of his abusive environment. On the course they fell for each other but they also had to go through many ups and downs in their relationship.

This is a very good Young age book, which covered a very real topic like domestic violence, but in a way that would give a young reader some hope. It's nothing but author's talent which maked this book so amazing.

Rising Together (The Prosperity Series Book) is an amazing book and It's published by Kingston Publishing Company and it has about 172 pages and you can easily finish it off in 1-2 sittings.
Author has really written and described all the things in a really nice way which is very easy to understand which kept you hooked with the story.
I have read many book like this but it is different from all that and take you to another world when you're reading it. Some of the elements of the story are really unique and different which make us want more & more from the story.
The character is developed very well and has a deeper layer to her and the plot is also very amazing and really shows different types of emotions of the character and it's not just a black and white character. It has grey arc
The cover of the book is also very cool and overall it's a story for all the readers out there. I highly recommend this book to them.

This is the story of Tim, a boy who was born into a dysfunctional family. A father that comes drunk and late home. Problems between the parent end with Jake, Tim's brother always being hurt. Meanwhile Jake discharges all his frustration on Tim. The only light in his life is Haze his best friend. The reality that involves Haze is the opposite of Tim, she lives in a warm home with lovely parents. Tim is feeling depressed and his world is slowly deteriorating more and more until one day he is taken apart from his family, his parents are to spend some time in jail and his brother is also far away when Cliff and Audry enter into his life to make him feel loved and respected. Some time passes before Audrey and Cliff decide to adopt Tim and make him part of their family forever. But the idea of living Haze behind makes this the saddest moment in his life. This is the beginning of a series of books and I hope Tim and Haze get to see each other again.

Moving Tale of Friendship Amidst Adversity
I read this on KU. It is a gritty adventure about a powerful friendship between a boy from a horrible background and his supportive friend. It is really sad in parts. I really liked the character of Haze. She was so self sacrificing that it was impossible not to like her. Both main characters have good story arcs and growth despite some poor decisions. I like where the novel ended…setting it up well for the next part. Their slowly blossoming feelings for each other were also well done and I found the romance believable. There were some mechanical challenges with tense shifting and poor grammar but it wasn’t too distracting from the story.

When we talk bought books on relationships and ties, many stories either move towards the romantic arc, or would head for themes of family and togetherness. But, how often do we read stories on friendships? In fact, it does become a bit tedious to think up of 10 or even 5 random books on friendship. When it comes to fiction, there has rarely been a book that focuses exclusively on the very idea of amity. And all these thoughts came rushing to my mind after I finished reading Rising Together by Christopher Cole and K. M. Sparks. ©

Good book
The story started off rather interesting. I thought the story would be about them finding each other again after years of separation, but it was about them not wanting to let go. I skipped a few pages because I was anxious to see what happened in the end.

Great book
This is exactly what I want from a book. I love the emotion portrayed in the story and the young love that started blossoming from friendship. It is a feel-good story, even though it is touched with sadness.

Great story!
This was a great read, the story was beautiful! However, the grammatical errors were tough to overlook at times, which brought my rating down some.
