That! Fucking! Ending! 👀😳 OMG!

And awww, I'm still in LOVE with Layton❤❤

WOW! That ending is a killer one!

I know and I'm sorry, but I can't stop when it comes to Layton, and wow, LAYTON IN THIS BOOK. Holy moly! I know that Leo and Joe is the centre point of this series, but Layton is a whole other world for me. Every time he is on the page, I lost control LOLOLOL.

Loved it. I missed Isaac just as Layton missed him, but it was exciting to see Leo in this new setting. Meeting new people in a whole new world. The Julian scene got me grinning and laughing really hard.
Layton with Joe, just wow. Love it.

This series isn't as deep and good as Isaac was, but we'll see. As far as Layton is in it, I'll gave 5 star LOLOLOL.

Taylor J Gray returns to the world of Isaac, Layton, Peter, Kendal and Julian et al; a world in which doms and their slaves live separately from the 'vanillas', and hard-core BDSM is the norm.

In Hunters Moon, it's the turn of the Streetboys to take the focus, but we see plenty of familiar faces. We left off in the previous book, Secrets & Promises, where Layton had brought Isaac back to the streets he came from to try to find a boy who could be in need of the guidance Layton and his keepers could give him.

Instead, he found Joe, a potential keeper, and Leo, a young man who has struggled on the streets and when Isaac made a connection with him, Layton saw that Leo had a need that belongs in his world.

Here we get Joe's perspective on their new world. We see his fears, his hopes, his love for Leo and his newfound friendship with Layton, as well as his vulnerability. He's a beautiful soul who just wants to care for the boy he loves, and who needs some guidance for Leo's need, which he doesn't yet fully understand.

Taylor J Gray has created a world, and a cast of characters that have so much love and they embed themselves in the reader's heart. Many might see it as a dark and gritty world, but it is also very beautiful.

There's the usual cameos from Isaac, who is always there to simultaneously make you smile at his attempts to be the centre of attention, and want to give him a hug, as well as some of the slaves we've previously met, such as Finn, Elan and Orion. Elan in particular is absolutely adorable! I'd love to see more of him. And personally, I still hope Taylor J Gray will give us more of Isaac and Peter's developing relationship, and those scenes of Peter's training, if he does eventually explore what Isaac experiences when he plays.

I love Joe and Leo, and how the author has brought these two to life. The pair feel like they've always been a part of this world, they fit in so well, and I'm excited by what their future holds. The book ends on quite a cliffhanger, however, and I can't wait to see what happens next, and how they get along on their journey. I just hope it's not too long to wait, as I love to immerse myself in the world Taylor J Gray has created.

Hunters Moon is an emotional journey that kept me on edge of my seat the entire time. I fell in love with these characters. When they hurt, it was like my heart was ripped out. Taylor J Gray has the ability to create such powerful emotions and these characters come to life through her writing.

I love the Isaac series, so I was thrilled to see some of the characters from there in this new series. Yet, she makes a clear differentiation between the two series. This one has a different style of depth to it. Both are strong series and I greatly appreciate her ability to create new journeys.

The world building is astounding. It continues to layer throughout the book. Every moment of this book is carefully crafted and nothing is unnecessarily added.

Those main characters...I can’t even explain how much I love them both and felt for their struggles. The author took me through everything from joy to anger to devastation and everywhere in between because I was so invested in them. Taylor J Gray also adds so much to the secondary characters that they become just as real, just as needed.

I’m still not over this book and look forward to what comes next.

Highly recommend for an emotionally captivating read.
