Daddy's Kitty

Rate this book
He calls her his mate. She calls him her daddy.

Upon seeing a beautiful but bedraggled young woman taking shelter from the rain under the awning of a downtown hotel, Brock DiBella takes matters into his own hands, throwing her over his shoulder and swatting her cute backside when she tries to refuse his offer of a place to stay.

Soon Kat Scarpone is happily soaking in a warm bath drawn for her by the handsome police officer who stripped her bare and put her in the tub despite her protests, but when she attempts to sneak off from her new home she quickly finds herself over his knee for a sound spanking. Her best efforts to hate him prove in vain, however, and as Brock cuddles her in his lap with her bottom burning and tears still drying on her cheeks Kat cannot help wanting to call him daddy.

But Brock has a shocking secret and Kat has two of her own. He's a lion shifter, and she's not just daddy's little kitten, she's a cat shifter herself, not to mention the daughter of a dangerous mob family from whom she recently ran away. Can Brock keep his newly claimed mate safe from the mafia's goons as he and Kat work together to bring down her father's criminal empire?

Publisher's Daddy's Kitty includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

'Daddy's Kitty' by Megan Michaels is a well written and developed dark story with interesting characters and an intriguing plot that tells the story of Kat Scarpone and Brock DiBella. Kat has run away from home because she is tired of being dictated to and find cover from the rain under a hotel awning. Brock, a NYC cop, is on his way home and finds soaking wet young woman in front a downtown hotel. He decides to take her home and help her dry off and give her some place to stay that is safe. But Kat isn't interested in his help beyond getting cleaned and dried off. When she tries to leave the gloves come off and Kat learns what disobedient little girls get from Brock. Brock discovers that Kat is a cat shifter and on the run from her mafia family because she does not want to be part of that life. Brock laughed because not only is he a cop he is a lion shifter, he can take care of his little kitty Kat.

Ms. Michaels has written an entertaining book with likable characters and an intriguing take on DD/lg relationship. The story contains danger, laughs, secrets, trust issues, passion, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes some kink with their romance.

Kat is on the streets trying to stay dry. Brock sees her on the streets and decides to take her home to dry off and sleep in a bed. As a police officer but he's intrigued by the woman and finds that she's sick. He takes her home to care for her. He baths her, puts her to bed, and is in the kitchen cooking. He notices a beautiful Persian cat in the kitchen trying to escape. He finds that it's the woman, Kat, he just rescued. Brock ends up being a shifter himself but he's a Lion. He finds out why she's on the streets as she's in danger from her mafia family. This was such a fun story with both of them being shifter but Brock is the best bet she has of staying safe. Love the DDLG dynamics in the story. This is a beautiful love story but there are dangers, secrets, problems with trust, humor, discipline, spankings, passion and lots of steamy love. Love the characters and the storyline. Can't wait to read the next book in this series. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a new venture for this author. Kat is a shifter and is not a powerful one. She is running from her family and their connection to the mafia. Brock rescues her from the streets of NYC and he feels protective of her. He is a cop in the city and he wants Kat. He quickly finds out that she is a shifter and he has a few secrets of his own.

I enjoyed Kat's character. Even though she doesn't go about things the way Brock would like, she means well. And when she brings her friend Brittney into the mix, things get even more complicated. Of course, there is a Daddy for Brittney as well.

There is a HEA for Kat and Brock and even for Brittney and Gage. This is the first book of the series and I am very intrigued by the end of the story. I won't tell you what happens, but it is certainly something that I want to continue to read about.

I received an advance copy of the book and this is my honest review.

Kat has been living on the streets ever since she left home to be free to pick her own path. Right now she is feeling awful, stuck in the rain and hungry. Brock, a cop sees her and is concerned. especially once he realizes she is running a fever. He wants to take her home and take care of her but she doesn't trust him. She tries to get away from him but he catches her and brings her home with him. He doesn't know that she is hidinga couple of big secrets. Kat is Kat in more ways than one, she is a cat shifter. Luckily Brock is a lion shifter and easily copes with her change. Then he finds out that she is from a mafia family and that they want her back. Somehow he needs to keep her safe with him and protect her from her family.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoy both shifter stories and daddy/little girl one so finding a book with both was great.

Fate defiantly has the last say in this one here Kat is on the run from her family a very dangerous family, living on the streets just trying to survive and stay safe when a police officer notices her without cause or question or reason he takes her to safety. He makes sure her belly is full, her body is clean, she is nice, warm, and safe. Brock sexy as all get out Police Officer who take the young women in ensuring she has food and a safe place to rest but also, planning on keeping her total alpha. Both Kat and Brock are shifters he is a sexy lion and she a sassy, beautiful white Persian cat. But Kat is running from some very dangerous people (her family) will he be able to keep her safe when her family comes for her, and can she have happiness outside of what her family has dictated?

This was a good story. I was caught up in the action from the first page. Kat is homeless and running from her father. He is not a good man. Brock is going into dinner when he spots Kat. She needs help at least for the night. He takes her home and discovers there is something more to her. They are both shifters and mates. When he discovers what she is running from, he goes into protector mode. He is a police officer that will make sure that her father and who he works for ends up behind bars. Kat loves him but doesn't always makes the smartest decisions. Will they be able to find happiness together?

Kat has left her unacceptable home to live behind a restaurant. It is a rainy autumn day in New York when Brock, a cop, finds her cold, wet and hungry. He takes her home to help her with these difficulties. But, he is in for a big surprise. Kat is a shifter kitten.

This story is filled with dominant men, shifters, mafia hoodlums, and sassy women. How will Brock and Kat work out their differences? Will caring and protection turn into love?

I received this book as an ARC, and I definitely recommend it.

Little Kat, little bear

This book wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, but it wasn’t bad. I enjoyed the storyline and the danger the characters found themselves in. I really enjoyed the Daddies, but I am not usually a fan of excessively bratty littles and these two were certainly bratty. I enjoyed how they took risks to do the right thing, but they tended to act out at other times that I wasn’t a fan of. Overall I think this was a wonderful story and a great read for those who enjoy the Daddy/little dynamic.

This is a fusion story - combining paranormal (shifter) and daddy/little girl elements along with mafia components. Not only is this a story of Kat and Brock and their relationship and how it developed but it also contains a sub-story with Brittney and Gage.

I’m all in for instalove stories but this about a kink. And less than 5 minutes after meeting, he’s spanking her when she hasn’t consented to that type of interaction or relationship. Just nope nope. I’m tired of authors with no knowledge of the lifestyle hopping on the DDLG band wagon to make a quick buck

Enjoyable read

A good storyline. I really enjoyed the interaction between the characters. The girls were nice and bratty and the guys were loving and stern.

I also appreciated that the ending had nice closure .

Loved this story. It had many sweet moments as well as some suspense. The characters are very loveable and troublesome at the same time. If you love feisty heroines and the dominant, caring alphas who love them and paranormal is your thing, you will enjoy this book. Megan Michaels knows her stuff.

The writing was clanky. This is why I leave future note to myself. I had some ok books from this author and some no bueno. It was a bit off, normally the theme would be up my alley but no. He has awful and she was annoying.

good story line

Thought the story line was really cute. A Persian and A Lion. Great concept. The story has a few triggers for me so I had to skip ahead in a couple of places.

This unique shifter/ age play by Ms. Michaels tickled my fancy. A unique story of love and trust that started when Brock found Kat dirty, sick, and hungry in an alley. There was an immediate connection between this couple, but Brock had his work cut out for him with his feisty kitty. Kat was trouble with a capital T. He did everything in his power to protect Kat without stripping her of her freedom. The only problem was that they both had secrets which could have ended their relationship. Kat did not always agree with Brocks methods which led to painful punishments. If keeping Kat healthy wasn't bad enough, keeping her out of the hands of the Tarminos Mafia Family was a matter of life and death.

I admired Brock’s patients with his kitty, even when her sharp claws came out to play. He was loving, protective, and possessive. Kat was sweet and sour. An innocent but also a brat at heart. She was his kindred spirit and soul mate. He was the lion to her cat. A daddy to his little girl. Protector to her fragility. Her mate for life.

This book was a joy to read with intrigue, danger, secrets, romance , and humor. What a cracker of a story this was, once it had me in it's claws it would not let me go. I was on an adrenaline high from start to finish. I was on an adrenaline rush from start to finish.
