Khawaja Shamsuddin Azeemi was a Pakistani Islamic scholar and a master in the field of Tassawuf, with Ijazah and authorization from his Murshid Muhammad Azeem Barkhiya, the founder and the Shaykh of Silsila Azeemia. He was the second head of the Azeemia order. He authored more than 20 books on the various subjects of Rūhaniyat and Muraqaba, and was the chief editor of the monthly Roohani Digest and Qalander Shaoor in Karachi, Pakistan. He established a chain of fifty-three meditation centres worldwide.
