Author: Kelly Myers
Genre: Military Romance / Romantic Suspense
Narrators: Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott

Characters & Plot

Easton Ross is a Hollywood A-lister juggling a relentless schedule and an increasingly unsettling problem: a stalker who calls her repeatedly, disguising his voice in a way that feels more ominous than overtly threatening. Because the messages never cross a legal line, Easton is stuck in limbo—unable to take real action yet terrified of the tabloids catching wind of the situation and turning her life into a circus.

Easton has long been compared to Hedy Lamarr, and she’s fascinated by the tragic brilliance of the actress-inventor who died penniless despite pioneering technology that eventually became the backbone of WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth. Easton sees echoes of her own loneliness in Hedy’s story. Meanwhile, her relationship with her slick producer-surfer boyfriend, Daniel, is unraveling; he’s self-absorbed, image-obsessed, and increasingly sleazy.

Enter Jackson “Jax” Wilder, a former LAPD officer who recently launched Platinum Security with a few trusted friends. He’s skilled, resourceful, and haunted by a devastating loss that derailed his life a year earlier. With rent looming and no clients in sight, Jax jumps at the chance to take Easton’s case—even though he has no idea who she is. A tip from a former colleague sends him straight into Easton’s world, where danger, glamour, and emotional baggage collide.

Highlights

• Romantic suspense is one of my favorite genres, and this story leans into several tropes I usually love: the protective hero, the private-security angle, and the classic “My Bodyguard” dynamic.

Limitations

• Easton’s characterization feels shallow. Her fixation on luxury—specific champagne brands, celebrity neighbors, and delegating basic tasks to her assistant—reads less like world-building and more like a running inventory of her expensive lifestyle.
• Jax’s initial inner monologue is off-putting. His snark veers into mean-spirited, and his habit of comparing beautiful women to cars doesn’t do him any favors.
• Some plot mechanics don’t hold up. Jax immediately quotes Easton a price and drafts an invoice, despite promising to catch the stalker—an open-ended job with no predictable timeline or cost. If the invoice was only for equipment, the book never clarifies that.
• Easton’s behavior contradicts the narrative’s insistence that she’s intelligent and grounded. She admits she has a stalker, ignores her outdated security system, and swims naked in her pool. These choices undermine the idea that she’s savvy rather than the “clueless starlet” Jax initially assumes.

Narration

The audiobook uses a dual narration style, performed by Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott.

• Jamie Kersey brings a soft, youthful tone that suits Easton, though her delivery sometimes feels more like reading than embodying the character.
• Kenneth Elliott doesn’t quite match the rugged, emotionally scarred presence I expected for Jax. His voice leans more “standard detective” than “brooding protector,” and his pacing also reveals the seams of narration.

Final Assessment

It’s rare for me to want to abandon a book before the end, but this one came close. The writing felt immature, the character work uneven, and the overall tone leaned too cheesy for my taste. I was genuinely surprised to see it rated 4.16 on Goodreads and 4.5 on Amazon.

Romantic suspense—especially with former military or private-security heroes—is usually my sweet spot, but this installment didn’t deliver the depth or polish I look for. I bought the full four-book audio bundle thinking I’d scored a deal, but after this experience, I doubt I’ll continue the series.

Gonna pretend I didn’t read this cause it put me in a slump.

First off, she bothered me so much. You have a stalker and yet you are not being safe at all like she hears a noise in her house and goes to investigate, leaves her windows wide open, so nonchalant about her door being open. She just kept annoying me.

There was so much unnecessary information that read like an essay rather then a book. I don’t need to know her 12 step nighttime routine with all the name brands she uses. When you start saying “then, next, finally” in relation to a sequence of events girl you lost me. WHY do I need to know about her “Anastasia American doll liquid lipstick” three times???

Also there’s cheating in here so GAGGGGGGG.

The climax was lame. The stalker was easy to guess and the reasoning was boring. It just didn’t mix with how threatening the notes were so I was disappointed. If you’re gonna have a note that says, “Green are your eyes and I’ll feed them to you” that climax better be epic. Definitely was not.

3.5/5

Easton is a Hollywood starlet. Jax is aa former police officer running his new security firm. When Jax becomes Easton's bodyguard during a stalking, they find love in unexpected places.

This is a gritty romance that was both captivating and steamy. I enjoyed both main characters, although I feel like Jax got possessive very quickly.

I would have liked less of the "I could feel my groin tighten" lines. But overall the sex scenes were amazing.

I'm hoping that this is a series so I can see the rest of the security firm find love.

I really enjoyed this book. It is a pretty fast paced series and I enjoyed that the main FC was the famous person vs the main MC.

Where Fantasy Ends, Real Love Begins

In the world of Hollywood and the fantasy in which its inhabitants trade, beautiful raven-haired, green-eyed Easton Ross is the perfect princess in land of illusion. And while Easton is a talented actress, she knows that she is also acting when she steps off the movie set. Easton is not a perfect princess, rather she is always acting a part, and for the last 10 years she has cleverly crafted the character of Easton Ross. The real woman is an unwanted and abandoned baby left at the Bakersfield Police Department who was not desirable enough to be adopted into a family, and over time, lived the life of a foster child until she aged into a group home. Even the story of her “discovery” is a fantasy crafted to weave another magical layer between the truth and the PR narrative.

And now as a 29-year-old acclaimed actress, she sees changes ahead as she moves into the next stage of her fantastic life. But, suddenly the ugliness of the real world has begun to crash into the old-style Hollywood glamour in which she has cocooned herself—she is being stalked by some real-life monster who leaves sexually and physically threatening messages on her phone and in notes delivered to her Hollywood Hill mansion. And so, she seeks help and protection from the LA Police Department.

Jaxson Wilder, a tattoo-covered, 35-year-old former member of the LA Police Department, who served his community for 10 years, knows that life is not always good or fair. As a 15-year-old, he first learned that no one is guaranteed a life without sadness when both of his parents were killed in a head-on collision with a drunk driver. He and his siblings, Madison—Maddie and Sebastian—Bastion, were scooped up and cared for and nurtured by their aunt. But darkness continued to follow the siblings into adulthood, and with the recent murder of his sister Maddie, his own dishonorable discharge from a profession he loved and his brother’s troubled life and disappearance, he feels that he lives in the darkness. So, leaving the profession he loved in shame, Jax is trying to put his investigative and security skills to work, opening a private security firm, Platinum Security, and enlisting a former CIA agent, Griffen Lawson and an ex-Navy Seal, Ryker Flynn to help.

Now, trying to put his life back on some sort of track, Jax is given a chance to rebuild from the ashes of his grief and his destructive anger following his sister’s murder. His former best friend from police academy days, newly minted detective, Logan Sharpe, gives Jax’s name to Easton Ross as a private security firm which could install a security system and provide personal protection.

Upon meeting Logan, she hires him and his firm to protect her and her home. But, Easton doesn’t just seek protection from Jax. She is drawn to the tattoo-covered, 6’3” hard man with dark hair and deep chocolate eyes—a “bad boy”. She is drawn to him in a way that all the pretty blonde-haired boy-next-door, California tanned, aspiring leading men can’t touch her heart. And, upon first meeting Easton, a starlet whom he had never even seen in a movie, Jax falls deeply into her deep green eyes and realizes that he might not make it out of this job with a whole heart.

This dark romantic thriller is a departure from Kelly Myers romantic comedies, but Myers holds her own with the feel and verbal dialogue rhythms of the Film Noir detectives of the 40’s. Her characters are engaging, their back stories intriguing, and when in the same room, the temperature rises with the growing pull between Jax and Easton. I look forward to following the fates of Jax’s partners, Griff—Griffen Lawson, an ex-CIA agent and Ryker Flynn, a former Navy SEAL, both who need to help in shedding the darkness of their past careers. And perhaps over time, the readers will meet another troubled soul, Jax’s younger brother Sebastian—so many possibilities!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review and but enjoyed reading it so much that I purchased a copy through Kindle.

Good Suspense, Excellent Chemistry

Audiobook Review
I love that a few book review sites are offering audiobooks to review. It's made me branch out a bit in terms of what I'll read/listen to. This is one I would not have typically picked because of its somewhat darker themes, and I'm just not into bad-boy romance or movie star romance. Though this book had all of this, I actually enjoyed listening to it. I think part of that is because the male narrator who voiced Jax’s chapters did such an awesome job. He didn't just narrate; he actually acted it in parts, sometimes with such enthusiasm that you thought you were listening to an actual actor in a movie or a well-done old-school radio program. I loved how he was able to ratchet up the tension at just the right points using only his voice.

The heroine in this book is nearing 30 rapidly, and she is an America's sweetheart-style movie star who is starting to worry about how she will continue to get roles as she ages. As the book opens, we learn that she has a stalker who is very threatening to her physical safety. She decides to hire a security team to help her over this rough patch, not only to protect her but also perhaps to figure out who is doing this. The female narrator sounded young and was not as breathtakingly good as the male narrator. She has a rather high-pitched voice, and the parts where she spoke Jax’s lines--while she attempted to sound more growly and masculine-- were just not quite up to snuff.

The main characters are about as opposite as you can get, her Hollywood glamor girl and him a disgraced former police officer (though we, as civilians and people who have family we love, would see no reason for his disgrace once we learn of it in the book). They have an instant attraction and an instant chemistry which is fun to watch unfold. Both fight it, of course, for a variety of reasons. He especially did not feel worthy of this beautiful famous woman. I like how they both have complex backstories, giving them both vulnerabilities that aren't easily seen on the outside. I love how they bring out the best in each other--him helping her express her authentic self and her helping him live a more healthy life (mentally and physically). I'm one of those hopeless romantics who believes that true love does that, helps you be the best version of yourself while you help your partner do the same. There are a few intimate scenes, and I found them really well done and enjoyable. For all of his tough-guy, bad-boy, rough-around-the-edges exterior, he's a giving and thoughtful lover… the best kind of book boyfriend and the perfect man for our heroine who hasn’t made the best choices of the men in her life!

This certainly has thriller aspects, and there is a scene at the end where the heroine has to confront the person who has been out to get her during the entire book. She's strong and feisty right until the end, but she does not have the full ability to extricate herself from the circumstances the villain put her in. At times I got a little frustrated with a heroine throughout the book as she didn't seem to understand the gravity of her situation. Jax saw it clearly, but she just would not listen to his good advice, just wanting to live her life as if the bad stuff wasn't happening. Even though this book did not tick my typical boxes for romance, I enjoyed it immensely and would read or listen to other books by this author with great anticipation for another enjoyable experience. Recommended.

I received a promo code for this book, but that did not affect my review.

I listened to the Audiobook of this story and it was AMAZING !!!!
I have never read or listened to a book by Kelly Myers before and I have no idea what took me so long to try her books....because I really relished this story.
Both Narrators Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott were new to me too and they did a fantastic job of telling this story.Their voices were so easy to listen to and made the story flow beautifully, they were very expressive and are incredibly talented.
I Loved listening to them and will definately seek out more books to listen to that they have narrated.
Easton is a Hollywood actress who is being stalked and threatened daily by some mystery person,it all starts out mild but they are escalating and the threats are becoming more deadly. So she decides that she needs profesional protection, this is when she meets Jaxon.
Jax is an Ex Cop with a troubled past he was made to leave his job after an incident that he was involved in could have landed him in jail.
So he is now setting up his own security buisness and desperately needs clients.
Jax is a bit rough around the edges he smokes, drinks has tattoos and is the complete opposite to what Easton is used to in her life...But she needs his services and finds herself incredilbly attracted to him.
As you can imagine Jax also finds himself drawn to Easton and her beauty, but he is also drawn to her strength and bravery.
At first they seem to clash as Easton hates all the changes Jaxon seems to be making in her life and her routine. But slowly but surely as they spend time in close proximity they begin to care for one another and fall for eachother.
But with danger shadowing their new found love it is hard for them to both agree on whats best for Easton and her protection...plus they come from completely different worlds so how could they ever fit.
These two are so hot together they ignite like a flame when they are with eachother...the sexy times were explosive.
Dark Kisses is a story that I wasn't expecting and so glad I discovered.
Kelly Myers writes such detailed and enchanting characters and stories,I loved her style and I thoroughly enjoyed her words.
I am looking forward to listening to book 2 and hopefully there will be more books to this series,I am already curious about Ryker.
Excellent book.

I can't remember the last time I throughly enjoyed reading a book. A big thank you to the author for giving me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for and honest review. Kelly Myer's Dark Kisses is a wildly, passionate, romantic adventure that the reader will devour quickly and be incredibly satisfied while doing so. Easton Ross is a well beloved actress who has had to resign herself to the fact that she has a stalker and per recommendation of Detective Logan Sharpe she should hire a private investigator. Enter they tall, dark and occasionally boorishly sexy Jaxon Wilder of Platinum Security. Former LAPD with a client list of zero and no electricity to speak of he's pretty much down on his luck and is looking to drown is sorrows As fate would have it Jax runs into Logan Sharpe at a local bar (they were rookies together while at LAPD). Logan passes on the message that the well known actress Easton Ross would benefit from the services of Platinum Security. Never one to pay attention to celebrity gossip Jax has no clue who she is. Enter the raven haired beauty Easton Ross with liquid red lips. The attraction for both (even though neither would admit it aloud) is instant and at one point when their hands touch it's as if fireworks explode in the room. One particular evening Easton receives an ominous text from an unknown number. Terribly frightened she calls Jax to come over to her place and keep her safe and that's just the beginning of Jax and Easton's dark, dangerous and even romantic journey to discover just exactly who wants to do Easton harm and why. There's mystery, unexpected twists, with toe curling passion peppered throughout In the end Dark Kisses is sure to delight romance and mystery lovers for years to come.

Dark Kisses
Platinum Security, Book 1
By: Kelly Myers
Narrated by: Jamie Kersey, Kenneth Elliott

I was in the mood for a good romantic suspense and Kelly Myers delivered with the first book in her Platinum Security Series. Stalking, military, bad boy, tattoos, can't go wrong, right? Easton is in need of some help. Continual phone calls from a robotic voice begin to become increasingly more threatening. Platinum Security is recommended to the actress and Jax is right there ready. This is his first client, and he needs the work to get the company a good basis for him and his two friends. But what he finds is so much more than a case. Yes, Easton is beautiful, and her professional reputation precedes her. Is she really that girl? And Easton sees Jax, the bad boy that he is, the passionate man, the broken soul, the one she is falling in love with. But can their chemistry last? Will Jax be able to keep her safe? Who is doing this to her? Give it a listen, and you too will enjoy a fantastic love story all woven into thrilling suspense. It's one not to miss.

Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott are the story tellers, and they are amazing together. Starting this series, they fall into their characters and make the story come to like. Kersey is Easton, a bit nonchalant when it comes to her safety and extremely passionate when it comes to Jax. She is feisty and Kersey keeps her that way! Elliott is Jax, the alpha male, the brave and vulnerable soldier, the loyal friend and the incredible man. Their voices compliment each other and made this listen fly by!

If you liked the movie "The Bodyguard'" Then you will like this novel. It's pretty much identical
Haunted by guilt and failure, he’s a bad boy to the bone who drinks, smokes and swears.

Jax Wilder an Ex cop of 10 yrs who was forced to leave his position on the force due to misconduct. Why? because Jax was determined to find & kill the drug murders that killed his sister. When you mess with the wrong people, they will send a message to anyone attached to that person. That is what happened to Maddie's dead beat, thief boyfriend who was in jail. To let him know who was in control & what happens to people that steal within the organization.
Since then Jax has been living the dark side with haunted by guilt and failure, to save his Maddie. He has decided to be a bad boy to the core; who drinks, smokes and swears.

Though he has attempted to build a protection business "Platinum Security" with his fellow business partners who are more like his brothers. Ex seals Ryder & Ex CIA agent Griff & they desperately need to get clients in the door to pay the bills.
Officer Sharp, Jax's Ex supervisor from the force recommended his agency to starlet Easton Ross who has been having vulgar voice messages for the past few weeks. They a re now escalating to threats to her life . Jax needs to prove his company is the right agency to protect Ms. Easton. Office Sharp has warned Jax that he better be on the ball this could make or break his business.
Jax expected to find a diva that was just paranoids of a huge fan. Then he meets the movie star & Wow! She is a knock out Easton Ross. I will do everything I can including give my life to protect Easton. Can I do that without being distracted, jealous or love the starlet?

Easton-
When a stalkers V/M turn to threats, I turns to Jax Wilder for protection.
Owner of Platinum Security, who lives in the shadows from his own past, nightmares. What are those nightmares? He lives behind the scenes & I'm a Hollywood A list who live in the spotlight & has to keep up an image.
Jax is the complete the total opposite, but I'm drawn to that tattooed bad boy persona with his motorcycle,& gun. He doesn’t do relationships, but my savior plays dirty and I can’t resist his dark kisses. When my life is threatened, Jax vows to stay by my side.
At this point, I’m not sure what’s worse-The death threats are not getting inside this bad boy savior!
Read the hot story of Jax & Easton! Can opposites attract & survive?

She was exactly what I expected from a Hollywood actress diva 😭 this girl has a stalker and is all oopsie I left the windows open because I love fresh air, oh I have to go to this party 😑 be for real right now. There is some one who is literally wanting to take you out (not in a good way) and we are prancing around hollywood in our slinky dress, lacy panties, and red lip stick. Why. Why are we making it so damn easy.

Don't think I'm a fan of the man either. Because she didn't call him for one day "oh I guess her stalker is done". He also compared her to an expensive car early on and I had to grab my eye balls after they rolled out of my head. And he acted childish at times and I think I might have just been annoyed by this point because how old are we sir? Is this middle school? Get it together. You are suppose to cool calm and collected - you are security.

Plus like they flip-flopped a lot. One minute "im going to seduce him because i get what i want" to "I'm not normally like this" and "im not a princess" to "ughh its so hard to pack for this weekend 😫" And she's out here trying to make him jealous and then being shocked when he acts on that. And you know what she also had a damn boyfriend (he was lame anyway so I ain't mad like that) but when she finally ends it, minutes after break up (no seriously minutes) and you just jump into his arms ready for the bedroom action. Drink some damn water and process what the hell happened 😤

Okay I think I might be a hater 😭 I'm sorry.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was recommended ‘Dark Kisses’ through a ‘Book Buddy’ System and it was the first time that I have read a book by Kelly Myers.

All I can say is that I will definitely be picking up the rest of the series.

So Dark Kisses is the first book in the ‘Platinum Security’ Series, and you follow two characters who couldn’t be more opposite.

Easton, a sophisticated Hollywood A-lister and Jax, a ‘bad boy’ bodyguard. But what I loved was Jax’s ‘don’t touch her or you’ll die’ vibe! But throughout their story, you grew to love the connection they shared. Despite them living complete different lives, they were just literally drawn to one other! The book absolutely gripped me from the very beginning.

It’s been some time where I was able to binge a book within a couple of hours! Every chapter flowed effortlessly, and it was so well written that I just got sucked in even more and it kept me wanting to find out what happens next! With it being a suspense, it kept you guessing, which I absolutely love.

I’m excited to read the other books in the series, and have already put them on my TBR list. I’m also open to reading other books by her, so thank you whoever recommended this 🙂

I enjoyed the bad boy and the good girl relationship.

She’s a star with a well-crafted rep but when a stalker scares her she calls on a bad boy bodyguard to keep her safe. Their instant attraction surprises them both but both have history that makes them afraid to trust. When danger get close only Jax can rescue her, but he’ll have to overcome his own demons. Loved the rich girl and poor boy dynamic where they have more in common than they ever expected and their love will overcome the prejudices both have. I liked that both were well developed characters with their own history and their reactions were on track based on their experiences. Jax is barely holding on after the loss of a loved one and his job. Easton is tired of being alone but wrapped up in her manufactured world. The both bring something to the relationship that the other needs. Nice HEA. I did like the narration and I’ve gotten hooked on audio which I can listen to when I’m doing something else. Pacing is good and I was rooting for the characters to come out ahead of the stalker who gets progressively more dangerous.

I've read other books by this author and liked them, but this one I loved. Perhaps it was the close knit number of characters in the story, the down on his luck Jax and the over the top Easton. Somehow they come together and feel a connection, but both have doubts that they will fit in each other's lives. There is a stalker out there and Jax is tasked with protecting Easton. He compares her to a Ferrari, and once he's driven that, no way would he go back to a mustang, but the funny part is, he doesn't even have a car, he has a motorcycle! He's an all-in type of alpha, and he says to her "I'll take you right to edge and even over, but I'll always be there to catch you." "Stay with me, Easton, and I won't ever let you be lonely again." Totally swoon worthy. Two strong personalities and two lost souls at the same time. It was a wonderful fulfilling read for me.

Easton is a successful actress who has drawn the attention of the wrong man and the threats are escalating. Needing protection, she is referred to Jaxson however the lines between personal and professional become blurred which makes the situation even more dangerous.

A devastating loss cost Jaxson his career as a police officer so he has recently opened a security business with two friends and Easton is their first client and will help get the business off the ground. He knew that the job would be challenging but he never expected the biggest challenge to be the feelings he would have for her.

Both Jaxson and Easton have difficult pasts which has shaped them into the people they are today and does cause some turmoil. The characters draw you in, their attraction is undeniable, and the suspense only makes the story that much better. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as they brought out the personalities of the characters and what they were going through.

I absolutely loved this book. This book was so hard to put down. The suspense was so gripping that I just had to know what happened next. Easton and Jax were fantastic together. Jax was dark and Easton was light and together they were perfect together. These two had an amazing connection and chemistry even though they loved to butt heads. These two have been so closed off for such a long time that opening up to each other actually took a toll on their relationship however, when things came down to the wire and feelings were forced to be revealed Easton and Jax knew that there was no one else for them. I can't wait for the Griff and Ryker's books! I would HIGHLY recommend this book and Ms. Kelly as an amazing author!

Happily Ever After, the Complete Platinum Security Series is a fun and fascinating journey into the lives and loves of four very different alpha-male protectors. Each novel focuses on a couple, and each storyline is different—though they are all fast-paced, intense, and filled with action, adventure, and intrigue. The chemistry between each leading couple is fiery hot, and I adore how each of the leading women are strong, independent, and brave in their own ways.

The narrators did an awesome job performing the various roles; I was sucked straight in to each story and hooked until the very end. AND after the last story concludes, there are extended epilogues for all 4 couples, which are definitely best enjoyed after all 4 of the stories have been enjoyed. This series is a winner, and so much fun! Highly recommend!.

Good romance quite unpredictable
4.5
It's a good story, quite hot, a little predictable in the romance, but much less in the suspense and investigation part. The latter has twists and turns and is much more unpredictable
Easton has a stalker who is becoming more and more worrying and she hires Jax to whom she feels an immediate attraction (as he does to her) to protect her. However, her media life with her absent boyfriend and the threats to which she is subjected are as much a brake on this attraction in this employer-employee relationship.
I really liked these characters overwhelmed by what is happening to them and the context in which Easton operates.

Jax is a kicka** character, having his share of tough breaks through life made him who he is today. He has been dishonorably discharged from the police force a job he loved, his sister was murdered and his brother is MIA all this after the death of his parents. Easton needs security and a body guard, and that would be Jax. Easton's life is as made up as the parts she plays. She was abandoned as a baby and no one wanted her, she moved to a group home and eventually landing in LA. The chemistry between the two is off the pages hot. The story flowed and it was a great plot. I could not stop reading this book. I absolutely needed to know what happens next. I am hoping his partners all get books.

The narrators did a great job on the voices, and I found their voices pleasing to listen to. There were no distracting noises, and the sound was consistent throughout. Nicely done narration.

I enjoyed this romantic suspense and would recommend it to those who are fans of the genre. It does have a situation of miscommunication, which I'm not a huge fan of, but it didn't last long and didn't deter from the story much for me. The detail was good, and I didn't find any plot holes. The story was well written as well as the spice.

My heat rating is based on the amount of occurrence, length of scenes, how explicit the scenes are, and how filthy/ unconventional the scenes are. This rates about a 3/5 spice overall.

Easton and Jax are the perfect opposites she's the golden Hollywood Princess in a gilded cage with a harsh past and stalker all her life she's been forgotten then she became someone but its not real and all she wants is to be seen. Jax his life is like a dark road of sadness and misery and a tarnished career with the LA police force if this was a dark fairytale he would be the untouchable beast. Jax runs a security firm and Easton needs his help they but heads his everything she shouldn't want and she mite just be the thing that saves him if her stalker doesn't get to her first.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book is about how Jax and Easton meet and fall in love. He is the bad boy to her good girl in all ways. Jax is the rough, tough, and sexy security expert that becomes her knight on shining chrome. She is Hollywood at its finest and in need of his help with a stalker. These two may by opposites in several ways but are united in their passion for each other. I really enjoyed the characters. The story was a well written and suspenseful romance

They are worlds apart but when Jax is tasked to be her protector, the sparks ignite causing a combustion that lights up their hearts. Easton has a stalker who will stop at nothing to get at her. While Easton’s whole life has been a fabrication, she uses the role of actress to live her life on and off the screen to cover up her true identity. Jax has fallen for the beauty and now that he has had a taste, will they be able to play a significant role in each other’s life when the drama is all said and done. This story draws you in and keeps you glued to the action being played out on the pages. I voluntarily agreed to receive an Arc of this book for an honest review.

They were opposites in every way. She was a gorgeous Hollywood Glamour Lady and he was a tried and true bad boy and owner of a security company. Tattoos, guns, motorcycles and all around wild and wooley. But you know what they say about opposites Their chemistry was off the charts and they couldn't resist each other. I loved Jax and Easton's story. He was totally alpha and hard to resist. No shortage of steam or drama. A great read that I read as a free book via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
