She’s a goddess.
Marine veteran Declan Carter knew the tall, curvy strawberry blonde was his the first moment he laid binoculars on her. Too bad, the beautiful kindergarten teacher wants nothing to do with him—something about him being rude and too bossy.

He’s a caveman.
All Hope Danford wants is a man with a few extra inches. In height. Get your mind out of the gutter. And yes, Declan is tall, he’s dark, and he’s more than handsome. But he has caveman tendencies and enough broody sexiness to make a woman stupid.

What can I offer her?
When his world explodes, Declan pulls away from everyone, including Hope. How can he be her forever when he has no idea what his own future holds.

Don’t push me away!
Hope regrets not following her heart and fears it’s too late. But Declan needs her, whether he likes it or not. Now to get her stubborn man to realize…

She will aways be Declan’s Hope.

2.5⭐

Not much pushing around from either side as they said on the blurb. I'm a slow burner girl maybe that's why. It was okay. Thinking if I'm gonna read the next book or not. The single chapter on epilogue we get from destiny's pov was triggering. I'm not sure I can handle it. If they handle the matter instantly just like these previous books I'm gonna be pissed. Henceforth I'm gonna decide whether to read it or not after it came out.

AH!
I feel like I’ve been waiting for this one for ages and … yes, it is indeed worth the wait!

It’s a super fast-paced read with action pretty much right off the bat, some brewing love, maybe? I guess we’ll have to wait for future books to see how some of these pan out. 😉 Lots of witty conversations, some adorable kids since Hope is a teacher, a bunch of yummy jealous/possessive guys who will stop at nothing to protect their own, real love—both romantic and non-romantic—a bit of brawling, MORE action, drama, suspense, steamy scenes … just to name a few.

Once I opened it, I couldn’t put it down & may or may not have ended up blowing off all my responsibilities till I’d finished. 😉

And it promises all sorts of angst in the next one, so while this one didn’t end on a cliffhanger and does wrap up neatly, I’ll still be over here dying for more of this world.

Strongly recommend.

The editing, proofing, formatting, etc. are all on point. The book is gorgeous inside and out and distraction-free. And if I had to guess, I'd say this author probably spend a loooot of time researching things to make this perfect, yet realistic, which to me, makes it even better.

And if you’re here between December 15-19, 2021? Snag book #1, ‘Callahan's HavenCallahan’s Haven’ for free on Amazon. This author almost never puts her books on sale, so this is an epic deal.

Appearences

Fighting off advances from a man she thought was the biggest bully in her life. Hope was a person who was considered a lady. She was tall and slender but couldn't find a serious man who would be interested in her regardless of her height, except for the brut, Delean the bully. Delean was crazy about Hope but couldn't get her to give him a chance. Until a tragic situation happened that brought them together for a very short time.
Wonderful love story.

Intense! Declan is intense and Hope is not having it. She keeps pushing him away. The fact he's been hurt and is shutting everyone in his life out, when Garrett calls, she jumps to it. If anyone can pull Declan out of his slump it is Hope.

When a school field trip takes a turn, Declan and team get in place to get Hope and her Kindergarten class home safe.

Action packed and intense. Love the Elite Protection Agency...the team is something else. Looking forward to more!

Declan & Hope

New to this author & was impressed with her writing & the way she accomplished capturing her readers from page 1. Started with some comedy, included love, friendship & loyalty. But the subject of the team to save & protect was what kept this story moving towards the HEA despite the hardship & injuries. Already purchased the next book in this series. Highly recommend, Great read!! (Reviewed by Lin)

His at first sight!!

Declan thought this every time he saw Hope! Mine!! Hope knew he was bossy and cocky and she wasn't going to give him the time of day! Of course that changed when Declan was shot in a mission to save an innocent child. Only now, Declan didn't want to give Hope the time of day. Could she change his mind and be his hope once again?

Suspense and steam

This is a great read with an interesting cast of characters. It contains lots of suspense and steam. Although a stand alone, the series has an underlying plot connection to other books in the series.
