A centuries-old dragon with a broken heart and a rare white wolf with a target on her back are brought together by an ancient vow. Sparks will fly… but will they survive?
Gemma has lived her life on the run, always looking over her shoulder for her enemies. As the only white wolf born into her pack in more than a century, she’s meant to be sacrificed to the moon goddess… but Gemma isn’t going to the altar willingly.
As her time runs out, Gemma has one last place to turn. Her very last hope comes in the form of a necklace and an address scrawled on a sheet of paper. Despite warnings of a demon who resides there, she heads to the mountaintop and comes face to face with Theo.
Theo has lived a lonely, heartbroken existence since his mate died two centuries ago. He virtually forgot about the promise he made generations earlier until Gemma shows up at his door. Now, he must choose whether or not to honor his vow when he realizes how much trouble the wolf brings—not just from her pursuers, but also in the way she stirs up feelings inside of him.
Will Theo let Gemma heal his broken heart… and will he be able to keep her safe? Anything can happen in dragon territory…
This book was fantastic. I like how Gemma was a reincarnation of Theo’s lost love Savannah. It was good how he was scared to love Gemma as he thought that meant he was betraying his first love. When he realised Gemma was his true mate and had given herself up to be sacrificed he done everything he could to get her back but as much as he wanted to get her back he was prepared to listen to reason. Absolutely love this book I couldn’t put it down. It felt as if you were there with them the whole way.

I always love to start a new series. Especially when dragons are involved. This one started with an absolute bang! I have so many wonderful things to say about this book. Most however, would give too many spoilers. Soo, I'll just cut to the gist of it. Gemma has been on the run for most of her life. As a rare 'white wolf' she is destined to be a sacrifice or a trophy. Neither of those things are very appealing to her. Theo's heart has been broken ever since he lost his mate. A VERY long time ago. When he finds a woman in his home, he realizes he owes a debt to her family. They had such an amazing journey to their HEA. Even if they didn't think they deserved it. I can honestly say this has been one of my favorite reads for the year. Even the secondary characters were amazing. I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy and this is my voluntary review.
This had so much potential. But his hot and cold act was so wrong. Especially after taking her virginity. That’s when it went bad. He was horrible and she became a desperate doormat. Anytime he decides he was hot for her again, she opened her legs and heart for him to be a jerk all over again. She should have stood up for herself and not accepted his behavior. He should’ve had to work to get her back. So what he came to help her escape?! She wouldn’t have been in that position if he hadn’t screwed her and said he’d never loved her acting like a jerk who just uses women. Like I said, so much potential but ultimately a train wreck with her doormat personality.
What a fantastic read! What a great beginning to a new series! Such amazing characters that you can’t help but love and a fantastic storyline! Action, drama, sweet, and steamy! Dragons and wolves are my favorite! Couldn’t put it down! Absolutely loved it and highly recommend! Received arc and am voluntarily leaving an honest review
Gemma has been running her whole life to avoid being sacrificed by her old pack. At her lowest point, she seeks to activate a vow given to her grandfather. Theo has been waiting to die since he lost his mate, over two hundred years ago. When a long ago vow is activated, he struggles to complete the vow and keep his memories of his lost love alive. I enjoyed the fast paced action in this book. Theo got on my nerves a little with his determination nor to give into his feelings. I found Gemma to be sweet and strong. When Theo finally realizes the link between Gemma and his lost love, will it be too late? I hope to visit these characters again. This is a great beginning to the series.
