I’m a passionate cat owner and pet enthusiast in general. For more than a decade, I have had many cats in my home. My passion for keeping cats is tremendous, and this is how I found myself dealing with a spraying problem in the first place. There was a time years ago when I had 9 cats in the home. It was a lot of work making sure they were all taken care of, and having them running around, climbing my furniture, and playing with my kids was an interesting experience for my family and I. I’ll admit that before I discovered Cat Spray Stop, I went through hell with my cats. I was fighting a part of me that I didn’t want to come out. I remember one morning when I woke up and went to the bathroom to freshen up. Mind you, I had a scheduled meeting at 9 a.m. This was an important meeting in which I had to give a presentation, and I had spent several night preparing for it. I took my time going through the material and understanding it. The good thing is that the book is clear and easy to follow, and it’s written quite simply. The book helped me understand that I needed patience to train my cats, and that it wouldn’t happen overnight. I want to be clear about that: it will not be an overnight fix, but with persistent effort and action, it can be done.

Cats can get pretty creative when looking for places to pee. I just wish he’d found another way to alert us. All I want is a sweet-smelling home like before. So frustrating to go back and keep finding another cleaning job, then have to find the source of the smell. My cat enjoys eating, and subsequently vomiting up my houseplants. I bought this spray hoping it would deter her. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it seems to be working. She does still take the occasional bite out of a plant but now seems to stop at one bite rather than munching away. I've also not found any partially digested plant vomit around since I started using it, so I count that as a success. The spray does not seem to have impacted the plants in any way. I can tell you that my life seriously changed for the better when my cat and I got through with the training. Once we both understood the situation from the other’s perspective and I’d applied the techniques according to the easy-to-follow directions, life went back to normal. I was able to bring in flowers from the garden and enjoy their fragrance throughout the entire house without the competition.

Engaging read, clear instructions. The illustrations are pretty funny and cute, I chuckled a few times reading this. I like Susane's attitude of kindness and patience toward your cat. Her whole method centers around treating your cat well, which I really liked. I also get the sense this is much more do-able than most people would believe, but you have to make a go of it with the right understanding. I currently don't have a cat but I'm going to try this method with my next one. My future cat has some adventures in store. :) Having read this book I feel that this method will work she has trained 7 cats over the years to use the toilet with her steps. Eliminating the need to clean out a litter box makes the training worth it in my opinion! This is a very fun read for cat lovers but even dog lovers should get a kick out of this just don't tell your dog you read it. When I tell you there's something called the "truffle test", you should know this is going to be good! I often times imagined the author with his own cat(s) and having the same challenges that so many of us do. I laughed with Susane W. throughout this easy and fun read.
