Drui Claiming Jory Strong "Book 4 in the Supernatural Bonds series." Dragons. They huff and puff and burn the house down when they don't get their own way. They're possessive, dominating, and don't know the meaning of "carefree" because they're weighed down by all the treasure they feel compelled to guard. They're trouble but it doesn't change the fact that Marika has it bad for a certain silver-blond male named Xanthus whose dark, dark eyes have a lethal effect on her libido. She wants him, but she can't have him. Dragons don't share and she comes from a long line of tree-hugging, multi-partnered Drui. There are threesomes, foursomes-and more. But there are no twosomes and she's already got one permanent man in her life, Tallis-a shapeshifting Sjen who is every bit as dominant and possessive as a dragon. It's a hopeless situation, or so it seems, until Fate intervenes and Marika decides to go for what she wants-both Xanthus and Tallis in her bed. And if the men want to "do" each other? She's all for it. "Reader Advisory: While every effort has been made to enable Drui Claiming to be read as a stand-alone story, it is set concurrent to Sophie's Dragon in the Supernatural Bonds series, and some story elements mentioned in Drui Claiming are explained in more depth in Sophie's Dragon."
Jory has been writing since childhood and has never outgrown being a daydreamer. When she's not hunched over her computer, lost in the muse and conjuring up new heroes and heroines, she can usually be found reading, riding her horses, or hiking with her dogs.
Yum, yum. Sex with a dragon and a pantherman. "Drui Claiming" is the fourth book in Jory Strong's 'Supernatural Bonds' series and I've been anxiously awaiting for it to hit paperback. It's a M/F/M menage with mostly M/F, but a bit of M/M too and one M/F/M at the end.
Marika is a Drui. Drui always, always have multiple partners when they eventually settle down. She's always known that her magic number is two...two husbands that is. Her first has been with her for several years now and both she and Tallis are getting antsy about finding their second partner. Tallis isn't happy when Marika seems to set her sights on Xanthus the dragon. After all, dragons are well known for being unable and unwilling to share anything! But when Marika's heart makes its choice, will both Tallis and Xanthus be able to deal with their new situation?
Smoking hot sex, danger, dragons, panthers, and magic. Another one for my keeper shelf where this entire series resides!
Another great edition in the Supernatural Bonds series. Book 4 already and still not bored. Even though we meet these characters in the previous books they don't really come together until the end of Sophie's Dragon. All the stories are interconnected so you do get a little overlap of stories just told in the current couples perspective. Marika a Drui,(nomadic people with natural healing abilities. Able to draw poisons and disease from human bodies. When supernaturals realized their capabilities they were hunted. Some were enslaved, some killed others mated with in the hope of gaining control over such a powerful ability) works for Aislinn as her assistant. Bonded to Tallis already. Xanthus a dragon cross fae. Next to be named Kirill's heir. They meet while he is guarding Sophie for his boss Severn. The instant they meet he realizes she is his mate. He tries to hide the fact he is a dragon. Marika hides the fact that she is Drui and that she can see through all the supernaturals guises. It's part of who she is. Throw in Tallis, a senj feline that Marika bonded to herself accidentally while trying to save his life. He knows Marika's kind and his own, need multiple partners to be happy. He knows of the attraction between Xanthus and Marika, but as they believe he is a pure dragon, know he will never consent to sharing Marika with Tallis. With all the sexual tension and ongoing drama's in the dragon community you have the makings of a wonderfully action packed novel of terror, lust, a menage and alpha male on male sex. Some BDSM as well. Wonderfully written and inline with the rest of the series. Next book 5 Dragon Mate. About Kirill an impotent dragon and Jazzlyn his human mate.
Iv read all 4 books in this series, and even though the story line was good as it carried on through all the books, i like to read books where you can read about previous characters from the first book in to the fourth, The first book (Trace's psychic) and the third(Sophie's Dragon)was realy good, The second(Storm's Faeries) and this one i didnt enjoy, i read them to keep up with the others but i'm not in to women who want two men in their bed at one time, I found it a bit far fetched how the author describes dragons in Sophie's Dragon as possesive and do not share thir mates and then in Drui Claiming you have a dragon whom grew up in the same enviroment as the others but is willing to share his mate with one other and would also be with that other man sexually, the auther used the reason that he has a bit fey in him, I like a good supernatural book, with one man and one woman, this two man stuff dosnt turn me on at all, but if thats your thing then youl love this book, as i said the story lines are good in the others. I wont go into the story lines as the previous people have described them, If your into Dragons read G.A Aiken, her books on dragons are brilliant.and you can never go wrong with ANY of Sherrilyn kenyon books, hope this helps Dragon
The supernatural races that haunt our fairy tales have all fled, leaving this plane to the mortals... or maybe not. The 'significant others' are all homicide cops who do not believe [and in some cases hate:] anything purporting to be supernatural. All that woo-woo stuff - either crazy or con games - right? Not only do these poor mortals fight the usual fight against love and commitment - they fight being forced to believe...
As with most series, they unfold better being read in order - but can be read out of order if necessary. Note: in Drui Claiming some things revealed in Sophie’s Dragon will prevent the occasional 'huh?' moment.
Supernatural Bonds series: Trace’s Psychic Trace figures every psychic is a fake or nuts, then he meets Aislann...
Storm's Faeries Fairy tales can be twice as nice upclose and personal...Warning: menage.
Sophie's Dragon Dragons are very possessive of every treasure they find, an a mate is the greatest treasure of all!
Drui Claiming Dragons and shifters and healers, oh my! Warning: menage with some same sex interaction.
i got this book at the flea market and had no idea that it was a series after reading reviews on here that said that the book could stand by its self i started reading it but i don't think it dose throw most of the book i was confused don't get me wrong the love Scenes were great the character's were out standing but the author keeps bring up thing from past books so i really couldn't get in to that's why i could only give these book a three I'm hopping get the rest of the series but for anyone that plans on reading this book make sure that you HAVE READ THE FIRST THREE :)
I really liked this one, the fourth in the series. I love they way Ms. Strong depicts dragons in this world - their human form is very true to their natural form, which makes for great scenes. They covet, they are jealous and possessive, which is all depicted in a sweet and hot way.
My only wish is that there were more menage scenes and more m/m scenes. I would like to have seen the triad's relationship evolve further.
it was a good book but plot of the story outside of the romance was little boring and i did notunderstand it all but that may be because i read this book first and not book 1
Not my favorite Jory Strong but she weaves the story line in from the previous book nicely. This is the second book of hers that I have read that involves a threesome which didn't really appeal to me but the story was good none the less
