About the author

Tim Tebow is one of the most accomplished players in college football history. A two-time winner of the NCAA National Football Championship with the University of Florida, Tim is also the first-ever sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy. He then went on to become a two-time winner of the Maxwell Award for the nation’s top football player, while also winning the Davey O’Brien Award for the nation’s best college quarterback and the James E. Sullivan Award for the most outstanding amateur athlete in any sport. He is the founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation which was started to bring faith, hope, and love to those needing a brighter day in the darkest hour of need, and in April 2010, Tim was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. What can I say about this book? 5 stars. It was just so moving, beautiful and a reminder that God is always in the present with us through the storms. This touched on more in depth of Tim Tebow’s foundation and Night to Shine that helps special needs children and victims in human trafficking. As an Autism Special Needs Mama, it particularly blessed my heart. Such an inspirational read. I was crying as we learn about many of the children and people in this story, and how the Lord worked in their lives. Tebow talks about finding our mission, pursuing our purpose, and creating a life that counts. I tabbed so much in this book and plan to revisit over and over again.

At first, I wasn’t sure I would like this book. I was disappointed with the first chapter. But then, as Tim Tebow continued to share stories about how God changed lives, I found my eyes full of tears and my heart full of love and hope. God is good. His mercy endures forever, and this book showcases stories from children suffering from disabilities or terminal illnesses and the strength they find in Jesus Christ. Beautiful!

This is a chapter book, not a devotional, although there is one available. Each of the ten chapters are about 12 pages long with different headings to further identify topics like developing an individual mission, valuing yourself as God does, purpose over preference, purpose in the present, the resistance and the waiting, embracing the grind and making your life count. Tebow includes some personal examples, stories of preteens that will inspire the reader and analogies that teach spiritual lessons. The book ends in an invitation to a life that has purpose and one that counts.

This book is suitable for the advertised ages of 10-12 boys and girls. I received this book from the author/publisher free of charge, with no expectation of a positive review.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked that he set up the Tim Tebow Foundation with his mission being to bring faith, love and hope to people during their darkest hour. I actually had the opportunity to meet him in person last year during our Stakeholder’s meeting in Oklahoma where he was our guest speaker. He gave an awesome speech about his faith and his dedication to his mission and challenged us to find our mission and purpose in life.

I know that Tim Tebow has wrote many books and the thing is he wrote them to help other people understand his journey and where he came from as well as what he's had to do. I think the book that he wrote Mission Impossible is a great book to understand who he was and who he is as a person. Mission Impossible is also a book that talks about the things that Tim Tebow did through his walk with God. Mission Impossible is also the book that talks about the things the Lord LED Tim Tebow in and the things he had to walk through and the things that he didn't know he would have been in unless the Lord told him to go.

There are plenty of books out there that I've read and that I think are life changing but I really do think mission impossible that was written by Tim Tebow is a life-changing book to me because it shows me how I should walk with God. I think that Tim Tebow was also a great man who wants people to learn about God and through this book that he wrote I think that helps me learn about who he really is and who he really wants to be because he talks about the Bible a lot and that's really great because it helps me understand what God was showing him in those moments in seasons of time. I think that mission impossible is a great book for you to read if you're going to read it because it shows you the journeys that you'll have as a person and the choices you'll have to make on a day-to-day Basis it's going to be difficult at times but sometimes you are going to have to make those hard trees. With Tim Tebow writing about Mission Impossible it helps me understand the things I'm going to go through in life that I'm going to have to choose in the moment am I going to be down and be upset because I have to make those choices or am I going to be excited because I get to make new choices. I think that there are things that I now understand that happened to me in the past and realize how good God is and how great he's been helping me. Mission Impossible written by Tim Tebow has helped me today understand that there are things that people are always going to go through but always have to make a choice right then and there and understand with the choice that they make it may be the best choice of their life and it may be the worst choice of their life but you always have to give things to God no matter the certain stands.

I honestly came into this book simply looking to see behind the curtain and to either affirm or deny the validity of this man for myself, not that my opinion is gospel, but at least I can feel comfortable that my past and current perceptions of Tebow are somewhat rooted in reality. I know he has a lot of detractors because people are cynical when it comes to viewing too much of a good thing, and I get that. That being said, I felt a genuine vibe throughout this book, and I learned many interesting things about his foundation which are inspiring.

I’m not one to read things from a spiritual perspective, and I can’t say I’m quick to scripture, but the scripture he cited throughout was balanced nicely with bittersweet and inspiring anecdotes and real life connections. I saw one review lambasting this text for being overtly Christian and preachy, and I’m confused by that. What were you expecting reading a book written by an unapologetic Christian? That being said, did it have preachy moments, sure, but they were not overbearing and he wasn’t giving you a guilt trip if you are not all in on his religious way of living. What he speaks about in this text is certainly of foundational importance to a sound Christian life, but more so, it’s of foundational importance to what it means to be a good human.

If all you want to see in this text is the Christian pep talk, it’s certainly there, but if you are able to be more anthropological about this text, you can take away from it a lot of interesting food for thought.

I love Mission Possible Young Reader's Edition by Tim Tebow! I love the Biblical and Godly Insight that Mr. Tebow brings to the book. You can tell by the Biblically sound writing that Mr. Tebow not only talks the talk, but walks the walk, which I appreciate. Even though this version of Mission Possible was the Young Readers Edition, as an adult, I was able to glean a lot out of it and often I would forget it was geared toward young readers. I love how Mr. Tebow constantly reminds the reader of their Mission and Purpose and how no one is mistake. I love the quotes sprinkled throughout the book that complement what is being talked about at the time. I also love how everything that is said in Mission Possible is backed Scripture and it referenced. I highly recommend Mission Possible Young Reader's Edition by Tim Tebow! My son and I read this together. He is 9, a huge football fan, a flag football player, and is at an impressionable age. The amount of practical application combined with spiritual encouragement was enough to lift his spirits and want to be the a leader on the field, as well as being the best athlete he can be!

We will definitely be purchasing this book as gift for his friends, and recommend it to everyone!

I liked this book a lot because of how the many ways stories are told in this book. In this book, he tells stories that have happened in his life and other stories that have happened in other people's lives that he has heard about. He also tells stories that happened in the bible that relates to other stories that it talks about what has happened to people during this time. I would recommend this book to Christians and non-Christians because this book will and can transfer people to Christianity. I would recommend this book to people in high school or above because there are some words that you need to know in order to understand the book, and some words are complex and young kids may not know them.

There was not a lot to not like in this book because of how it is presented in so many ways. I liked every way how this book was presented to the reader, but some people might not like the way that it is presented in one way but might like it in another. That is why this book is so easy to like because of how it can connect to everyone throughout the world. The only thing that I found difficult in this book was that some words were hard to understand, so I had to look up the definition. This took time, but it was definitely worth doing it. I think that this has some pretty big words in the book because the bible also has some big words. The book uses some bible verses in this and connects them to the story that he tells in the book.

The big theme in this book is how to live a mission possible life. To make your life count and to know why you are here and what your purpose is for being here. This book teaches you so many lessons about serving and doing things for others in the picture of God. There are a lot of messages in this book that serve very well. One of my favorite messages is that living a mission possible life by making other people's lives better, that makes them want to have a life that they think they have a purpose in living in. I have learned so much from this book, and it teaches so many lessons. I probably have missed some things and that is why I want to read it again because of how good and impactful it is. Some of the things that I have learned from this book is that you should always trust God in the path that he is sending you in. You should always know that you should not be scared to do something that makes you look funny in other people’s eyes because in God’s eyes it is the right thing that you are doing. Now, the last thing that really stuck with me is that things that are humanly impossible are not impossible to Him, so you should always have faith that what he is doing is the right thing.

In this encouraging book, Tim Tebow’s aim is to help us find our purpose. He tells us that Scripture gives us one shared and big-picture purpose, which is to glorify God. Within that greater purpose of glorifying God, we find our purpose in what we do every day. He tells us that simply put, purpose is about being mission driven in our ordinary life. Whatever we are tasked with in the everyday—even what we believe is the most trivial of duties or responsibilities, or a boring job we are always complaining about—we should find a way to invite purpose into that space.
When we live mission possible, we live a life that counts because of what God has done and is doing through us. It’s not about what we can do; it’s about what God can do through us. He writes that when you determine to live mission possible, you will not look back one day and wrestle with regret or painfully wonder what you did with your life.
Tebow tells us that a mission possible life has less to do with us and more to do with others, and mission living means being motivated by something other than yourself. He tells us that if God is prompting us to do something, He will equip, empower, and encourage us, and see that mission to completion. We should stop focusing on what we can’t do, and remember that nothing is too hard for God.
He challenges us to ask what can we do, starting now, to begin to live a mission-possible life. He encourages us to use what moves us, what God has put inside our heart, and take one step forward in mission-possible living. He tells us that the impact we make will be worth every ounce of effort, every minute of work, and every question and challenge we are likely going to face. A question we should ask ourselves is “Does my life change other people’s lives for the better?”

One of the Bible verses Tim Tebow liked to put in his eye black was Mark 8:36. "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Mr. Tebow is certainly living that message. (Side note, I can still generate some anger for the fact that pro-sports players can engage in all kinds of messaging except religious messaging, but that is a thought for another time.) One of my biggest concerns is human trafficking. I had heard Tim Tebow interviewed, and the foundation became involved in this effort when his father, who was a missionary in the Philippines, was approached by someone to buy girls. He pulled out all the money he had on him, and bought 4. Thus began an additional focus for the foundation, they built the first safe home to house those 4 girls.. I was so moved, I went to his foundation and started donating. Hopefully, I can save a girl or child. I am at at stage in life where I am no longer pondering my mission, but reflecting on it. Another favorite quote in the book was "Do what you can, with what you've got, where you are." It is attributed to a friend of Teddy Roosevelt. I have always volunteered in some capacity due to the fact that I have led a blessed life. I am currently volunteering with our county library system, which is as much a social service agency as a library. That message made me feel good about my efforts. Mr. Tebow says he can't save all the women, girls, and children in the world who are trafficked, but he will do what he can, along with numerous other endeavors. We are all just encouraged to do what we can, where we are, with what we have.

This book about Tim Tebow is a great book about faith and doing whatever you put your mind too. I’m addition to that the way he said “mission living means too being motivated by something other than yourself.” This quote really just stated like through out the book there’s more too life than just being a me guy. Regardless of that the next quote like most are from the Bible I love the way Tim Tebow states “the importance of loving what God loves and who God loves, which is humanity” this is a great part of the book the demonstrates selflessness and that we should love those around us. Nevertheless Tebows love for God shows like in the quote “have you ever sacrificed something he wanted you to do because it would make you uncomfortable or call into question how others received you.” This quote just shows how much of a role model he is he’s a leader telling us too look at our own like and what we’ve done and telling us too get out of are comfort zones and turn too God. I’m addition too that I love the way Tim Tebow states Mark 12:30 “Love the lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” It just shows how faithful a man Tebow is. Therefore there’s one last phrase that Tebow said that stood out too me is “ It’s not about knowing every detail or having an answer for every question it’s about accepting the mission that God has prompted in your heart and following it, one step at a time.” This book I would highly recommend especially if your lost and trying to find meaning I love the way Tebow really is just a role model a selfless and caring towards others as shown in the quotes. Most likely because I listened to this as an audiobook instead of actually reading the book I felt that it wasn't as actionable as I would have liked it to be as far as having clear-cut steps. With that being said, the stories that Tim shared of some of the people he met were incredibly moving and have lit a fire in me that I will not soon forget. The story about the wife and mother whose son had cerebral palsy and husband who ultimately had a chronic disease for which she had to take care of him for was incredibly moving. How the person in the hospital asked who would care for him, she replied it would be her - that they had been together 25 years and she hadn't gone anywhere yet... only for that worker to reply and emphasize "yet". Her last words to her husband were that "yet" hadn't come. Then the story of Ethan - the 9-year-old boy who was diagnosed with an aggressive stage 4 cancer and ultimately died from it 4 years later telling his parents that he wasn't afraid of dying, but that he was afraid that others would blame God. That level of spiritual maturity is something I can only pray to reach... but am honestly scared to given what it cost Ethan. I guess I liked the book more than I realized because I am recounting other examples to myself that I enjoyed and feel challenged/heartened by. My biggest takeaway is that I want to take action for Christ and that it might not be easy, but that I can still take heart.

This was a great book.
Tim's passion and conviction in every word that he says and every story that he shares has one goal: to inspire us to each strive for our mission possible life. There's so much encouragement, so many good quotes, so many things we can put in our pockets and carry with us in life to remember that we matter. This book challenged some of my thinking patterns and my own view on how I live my life. There's no space for excuses, no allowance for self-pity or settling for anything less than our best.
I prayed with Tim's words for God to reveal "the unique calling and purpose God has bestowed on [me] that He has already equipped me for."
Another very big point that I would bring out is Chapter 9, the Purpose of Waiting. Tim says "Don't waste your waiting. Purpose is ALWAYS present, even in the waiting."

I cried at some of the stories that Tim shared, and I was inspired that every moment of our lives, every breath, every heartbeat is for a reason. Our God knows what we are capable of and He is ready to lead us it if we just let Him.
This book was a great reminder that we never have to doubt that today matters. We never have to wonder if we REALLY have a purpose. When it hurts, when we get tired, when everything seems too much and we can't see a way forward, God knows. He's never yet failed us, so why would we wonder if He will now?

Wow! I am just amazed by this book! This is my first book by Tebow, and I really had no expectations. It is a wonderful read, especially for any Christian, male or female, young or old, athlete or not!

Below are some quotes that have special importance to me and my life.

Wow.

The reviews I've read said it has value for people who weren't religious, and I think it is spot on. A lot of people are going to see the authors name and immediately dismiss it, even though the lessons can benefit them greatly, not only professionally, but how they feel about themselves, and treat others. This is a life-changing book. I think this is a perfect how to guide for dealing with depression, how to find that next step, how to cope and put your problems into perspective. How to be fulfilled and happy and have meaning. We have a problem in society of an us versus them mentality, and hating people for no reason, so this review is for the people who hate Tim Tebow for no reason, you don't have to agree like him, you can even block out the God parts if you have to, but this book is going to impact your life. Life-changing book.

An easy read with simple concepts that will help you live a more purposeful life.

They say you should surround yourself by people with good qualities, because you become who you spend time with. What a blessing to spend an afternoon with Tim Tebow. He's one of those people who has a hard time sitting down to relax because there are so many hurting people in the world to help.

I especially enjoyed the story about the boy going through unfathomably painful cancer treatments and still finding joy and hope in the Lord. He wasn't afraid to die--having a full understanding that we all are destined to die--because he loved Jesus so much, he knew that death in the body meant eternity with Jesus, cancer-free.

Excellent read.
