Another great addition to the series and the end of this trilogy.
We start this right where we left off and Clare is now ready to finalise her bond with Exos and ascend as his queen.
Elsewhere things are also moving forward with the rest of her mates and I felt that we finally got to know vox and Sol on a much deeper level than we had previously.
My spidey senses here were also abuzz with all the shady behaviour from a certain individual.
I definitely had my suspicions, everything here just isn't as black and white as it first appears.
This was full of action and such an intense and erotic read and I totally believed in the feelings of all involved.
This was such a great finale to the whole trilogy and one I have enjoyed immensely.
So happy Clare got her HEA with all her Elemental mates Cyrus, Exos, Titus, Vox and Sol.
This is reverse harem at its finest, raging hot in heat and with all the romantic feels.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Elemental Fae Academy: Book Three (Elemental Fae Academy #3).

i get it. it adds drama and a little something extra overall. but is it too much to ask for an rh without any mm these days?? i feel like all the newer releases allude to future mm or have it and although i’m not against it, sometimes i don’t want it in my books! i read the bonus mmf scene w/ titus and cyrus and although it was fine i don’t want it!!! let me live my mm free life!!!

I ended up skimming the book after about 25% into the story mostly because I found all the smut scenes so far to be quite contrived. The FMC Claire went missing? Group sex! Claire almost died? Group sex! Parents made you mad? Bonding with sex! And in the middle of that, let's throw in some insta-love out of nowhere. The other big issues I had were all the predictable dramatic reactions, "twists," and plot holes that made me want to finish the book to get it over with. The following rants are only some of the issues I had and certainly not all.

While I was disappointed in the previous book that it seemed to imply that the evil villain was Claire's mother, the twist I was expecting with being the real villain finally came about, which was trivially satisfying. However, after she was exposed, her character became a ridiculous caricature of a Very Bad Person. It was also quite silly that .

The character development didn't improve much - we got some more background on Sol and his history, but I don't recall learning anything more about Titus's family history. In general, I was still so clueless about the importance of the royal fae bloodlines and their link to the source. It was explained more in detail after Claire , but I was so confused for most of the series. Speaking of which, I don't recall ever getting a good reason how Claire ended up with 5 elements when even her mother only had 1 or 2 based on parentage. Exos and Cyrus ended up with two elements because each of their parents had a different element. I can't find it believable that absolutely no other fae had half-human kids.

The men in general were not very attractive to me. Titus, Cyrus, and Sol especially were such needy messes without her physical presence. Really, you couldn't stand being without her for a few days? Sol was a completely child for most of the book - as a final argument, he had threatened to leave, but Sol and Claire had Speaking of mating bonds, Claire decided to fully bond with several of the men , which was not romantic at all.

The world building was incredibly poor overall.

1. I didn't get the logic of transporting by misting or portalling or by conveyance. The misting part was explained later, but there was still no rhyme or reason when each was used. Claire was never explicitly taught to mist, an ability that probably would have been super useful when defeating an evil villain...

2. The telepathy between the bonds was incredibly inconsistent, and the rules of when it was used and how far the two people could be was never explained well.

3. The academy setting was completely superfluous in general, considering that most of the scenes with Claire were in the Spirit dorm for training rather than in group classes. Throwing in some battle classes in preparation for the final showdown didn't help with exploring the academy setting either, and there were absolutely no scenes about why the other students would be willing to get involved in a battle they didn't start to follow people they probably never even met or talked to instead of all just abandoning the campus en mass.

As a last nitpick (for the review), the suggestion of M/M between a couple of the men was totally unnecessary. The ending with what jobs all the characters ended up with and the fact that they all graduated from the academy within months was absurd. The epilogue about Claire being excited to was also totally not my cup of tea.

Overall, I really struggled to finish this series, which was a bit surprising to me since I had enjoyed other writing from the authors. This was not a good example of the quality of their work unless you are a big fan of smutty insta-love reverse-harem with a unexplained magically-overpowered but personality-weak FMC defeating an overly-dramatic evil villain. I'm not too enamored by the thought of trying the other spin-off academy series at this point...

I received an audiobook from the author in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Claire has just found out that her mother is alive and has turned into a dark fae. Her botched attempt to murder Claire, left her bonded to Cyrus as true mates. When Claire and her guys find out that her mother might not behind everything, it's a race to complete Claire's elemental circle before war comes for the Elemental Academy.

I still really enjoyed this book, but damn there was a lot of sex in this one. Maybe like 2-3 scenes too much. I was tired for Claire, lmao. But I'm glad she's being sated by all her guys. I'm really glad we got to see her bond deepen with all of the guys, but espeically Sol. I think he's my favorite. Seeing him grow a special grove for him and Claire made my heart melt.

Another small thing that bothered me was the guys going all overprotective zealous fae male. After Claire wanders off during the Solstice Ball, they're all like "OH MY GOD YOU COULDVE BEEN HURT YOURE SO SMALL AND FRAGILE". Which like no she's not. Claire is more powerful than almost all her guys, except maybe Cyrus, and several of the guys admit this throughout the book. She has control over 5 elements FFS.

Okay but one really cool thing was learning that male fae can control when they actually want to try and have a baby. So if any babys come along, the male can't be like I didn't want one! Hmmm I approve.

I really enjoyed the ending and learning more about the dark fae in the world. It was a really great addition to the world building. Plus seeing Claire happily balanced and strong was the best thing ever. Definitely going to try and read book 4 at some point, I want to know what Cyrus convinced her to do.

Brilliant

This was one action packed, scorching hot and very satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. I loved how all the lose ends were neatly tied up - even ones I hadn't realised existed. Clever writing ensured that the bond between Claire and her guys, Exos, Vox, Cyrus, Titus and Sol, was convincingly portrayed, it was also great to see the guys forming bonds of their own, especially between those who had struggled to see eye-to-eye with each other in the past.

Whilst I really, really enjoyed the book as a whole and couldn't have asked for a better plot, I did find the first quarter quite slow moving. The plot really didn't feel like it moved forward in any significant way. For me there was too much unnecessary sex in this part of the book. I'd already been convinced of Claire's bond/attraction/love with the guys in Book #2 and didn't need more here.

Once the pace picked up, boy was I totally and utterly gripped by this book. Reading it at any opportunity, not wanting to put it down and loving every word of it. Whilst there weren't too many 'bad guy' possibilities, I preferred that to suddenly finding out it was someone we had never even heard of previously. The build up to the final confrontation was brilliant, with both successes and failures along the way.

This is a fantastic reverse harem series that successfully develop 6 main characters, making them feel like individuals and giving them depth. The story is twisted, fast paced and packed with danger, frustration and struggles, as well as love, support and hope. The writing is excellent and it's very much a set of books that I happily recommend.

What an epic conclusion!

I set out on this journey not intentionally devouring this last book. But that is what I did. I regret nothing. Well maybe taking it a little slower would have been smarter. As always everything picks up right where the last book ended. With each turn of the page you see the character grow and change organically. Nothing was exaggerated or felt forced. Especially when having so many personalities all with unique traits that had to be hard to keep straight all the time.

With so many of these kinds of books popular and more popping up everyday. I liked that this one is unlike the others. I would definitely read more!

Favourite book of the series and the storyline was a banger. I loved how everything came together in the end and how all their relationships formed. I think this was an incredible RH series and I’m excited to read the extra little additions… I am a sucker for epilogues and bonus chapters 👏🏼👏🏼

Also these men were talenteddddd🥵😏

‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾☆ 4 stars ☆☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙

this was the most plot driven book in the trilogy and I enjoyed it A LOT. It was also the longest. I think it was my favorite, it was really good. I enjoyed this whole story and world. Each character was very distinctive and I love that in a RH story.

I’m surprised there are series for both Aflora and Gina, i’m not sure i’m reading them right this second, but I think I want to in the future.

This was a good ending to a surprisingly good series. Claire has learnt so much and has finally accepted her powers and fae side. She has turned into a true warrior and a character I can really get behind. Vox and Sol both fight off their demons at last and grow into their full potential. And what can I say about the brothers, Cirus and Excose, I just fell more in love with them.
I really enjoyed this series, it had a good story to tell and the antagonist was very interesting.

I don’t like half of her mates so it’s ruining the book. I also hate when supernatural / paranormal romance books get themselves in some weird hole about prophecies and fate.

Then the whole thing with her mom doesn’t make sense. The communication stuff from book 1 and 2 with one of her mates doesn’t make sense. There’s just a bunch of random holes.

And unfortunately we came to the end, this incredible trilogy had the last chapter, which was great but not as unique and almost perfect as the first two books. The problem was the development, the introduction and the conclusion is literally everything, it’s amazing.
Titus has always been my favourite, he is clearly the best male character, the most charismatic, most interesting and always willing to love intensely, which does justice to his element, which is fire. I love him so much.
What an incredible story, I started reading it just because the name caught my attention a lot, I'm grateful that I'm so curious, otherwise I wouldn't have started this beautiful trilogy.
Although this is the third book, I have to say it's kind of weak, it was a bit tiring the extreme focus about Cyrus, and the book got back to its original essence during the introduction and conclusion. Despite this tiny defect, which forces me to remove a star comparing my previous ratings, I have to say that the ending was incredible.
It was something so beautiful to read, I had the feeling of that sweet farewell to a series of books, everything fell into place perfectly, and seeing the new future that was reserved for them, was so beautiful, so deserving.
This trilogy was my big obsession during this year, and I guarantee that I’ll end up recommending these books to everyone, because they’re incredible. I loved it so much, that I keep thinking about how perfect it would be if it received an adaptation, actually I can guarantee I would freak out a lot, probably I would cry due to my joy. I really got attached to the characters and the story, I'll miss it a lot, but it's part of it, it's a journey and it had its end, which was beautiful.
Now, who’s gonna tell me to relax because Claire almost died twice! I’m still freaking out, I wasn’t ready for that.

Our little Claire is coming into her own and I love seeing her men being put into place, “if you both keep talking about me like I’m not walking between you, I’ll make sure you’re both very unsatisfied.” Isn't Exos a thoughtful man, "...but I’d prefer to live off campus grounds.” His lips brushed mine before drifting to my ear. “Your rapturous screams are for your mates and no one else, Claire. Therefore, privacy is a must.” I loved this series I loved Claire and her mates.

" True family was where I could be free. " - Vox

This picks up pretty close to where we left off.
Claire has grown a lot since this journey started. She still jumps headfirst into trouble but it's done with the best of intentions. We all know how that saying goes.

We get to see a lot more into Sol and Vox's worlds. What makes them tick. Why Sol is so withdrawn and Vox so controlled.
Sol comes across to me as a gentle giant. He has an almost childlike innocence to him at times.
Vox dude your family sucks!

There was a lot more turbulence in this last book - emotionally and in the story itself. The journey takes a darker turn and threatens the circle. Fate confronts them with not only the pain of their pasts but also with the uncertainty of their futures.
Can five very different males find a balance between them before it's too late?

Omg!! The holidays - props to grandpa
And the bacon 🤣
I was right about who was behind the mess (I'm doing the I told you so dance)

I admit as much as I liked the secondary story lines and the main story line Oh! and the unbelievably talented cast there were a few scenes that for me just felt like? Idk overkill?
And... I still have questions
And...Is there going to be a spin off 'cause yeah inquiring minds and all that
And... Why are you still reading this? Do you want suspense? Seriously flaming hot romance with chemistry that's out of this world? Top-notch characters? Fantasy? Five Alpha Males who are devoted to their mate? One very quirky heroine that will have you screaming "you go girl"?
Then you should be reading Fae Academy, not my gibberish - Off you go - one click!

3.5 to 4 Stars

What I really liked about this series was that the overall storyline moved at a great pace, from book 1 to this one. I liked how each book had enough action/mystery to make me want to keep reading. I liked the world building and learning about the different types of fae and their powers.

Exos and Cyrus are my favorites of all the characters. But then that’s because I really gravitate towards a more alpha hero.

Well I'm kinda glad that's over!

Unfortunately I found this book way too obvious and cliched throughout. The story telling was lazy at times, and if you couldn't guess who was going to be the baddie/goodie in the end then you are kidding yourself.

I just cannot get my head around the fact that Claire (our main protagonist), despite being one of the most powerful fae ever - somehow ended up submissive, whiney, uninspiring, and ultimately defined by the men she was with.

I also found a lot of the sex in the book somewhat pedestrian. With the men playing tag team, rather that just getting involved - yes it's hot, but this book was crying out for some M/M action!! It is heavily hinted it, but come on - just get on with it?

The idea that they use sex to distract Claire from her problems annoyed me so much, she should be better than that!

I spent a lot of this book cringing and rolling my eyes, but I did finish it - hence, 2 stars and not 1. This series does lead into others (they are heavily hinted at in this book, so you literally can't miss them), which sound promising, but I think I'll leave them for now.

Now this is how you write a finale!

Packed full of intrigue, suspense, heat and tension, Elemental Fae Academy 3 is temptation personified.

Claire is every women’s dream person. I mean 5 guys to love, caress and spoil you, at the same time? Just wow! I know I have a lot of green envy issues when it comes to this character.

Each character brings something to the table and each character displays his or her own personalities. You can see each person individually and how they also all work together.

I’m so happy that it has finally been wrapped up though so we get it know what the ending is. I’ve been wracking my brain since the last instalment as to what was going to happen and i can tell you that like Claire, I am well and truly satisfied.

I also loved the fact that the universe in which these authors just keep growing and growing and I’m excited for the branch off into the Midnight Fae world that I believe is to come.

Now just to ponder where I can get 5 Fae for my sixsome!

I received an ARC of this book for review and I have to say I am so happy I got a front row seat to the ending of this fabulous series. Lexi and Jen weave such a wonderful story and detail scenes so well that I can picture them in my mind. I was very happy to see Sol and Vox fleshed out more so that I understand them better. I realized I had been judging Sol unfairly. And Vox, such a horrid father.

The characters are in turns intense, thoughtful, sweet, nurturing and even authoritative. All of which makes them come to life and be people we all know and love. I loved that Claire and her Fae Elements got their happily ever after. I was excited to meet new characters and glad that they will get their own stories next. This was a superb ending to a great story. I look forward to more books by these authors.

p.s. I really LOVED the dedication at the beginning. Such a heartfelt note. Congratulations, Baby Thornie! :)

I was loving this series and they ruined it by hinting that one of my favorite alphas would be into M/M which is not my taste. Aside from that the story line is good, but the sex scenes did not make my belly clench. I found it annoying that the author waits until the last book in the series, the last half of it, to make 2 of the supposedly Alpha mates last after one another! Seriously!! I try to steer clear of the m/m in reverse harems because it ruins it for me. I feel like the author snuck it in and ruined one of my favorite Alphas for me. 😞

Was this book super long or did it just feel that way?
Spoilers

Alright. So let's start off with an issue I had in the previous books that never got resolved. I was waiting for this book to put out my opinion so that I wouldn't be proven wrong. Did we really need Vox and Sol? I don't mean I don't like their characters but at times it feels like Titus and them do a lot of sitting around twiddling their thumbs while other people do the work. The only reason I'm not questioning Titus is because he is also flirty with Cyrus and was originally who Claire bonded with on a friend level. We get to see voxs background in this book and I'm glad because before he was just kind of around. I don't feel the same connection there, but maybe it's because he has less FaceTime? Not sure. The same can be said for sol we get his background finally but it just seems like a big "no shit" and then we fast forward through their happily ever after ceremony under the trees. I just don't know if the plot really really needed them. I mean she didn't even bond with Sol before the final battle and she was just fine.

As far as the plot goes I called the bad guy pretty quickly in book one so I won't say I'm surprised, but I was a good plot overall. I think this book tries to tie up a lot of plot parts and things from the previous two books and we just get bombarded with action scenes and an abundance of problems as a result.

I also will say as a personal preference I am all for the hooking up as a group as an ending to a book, but I kinda wanted the epilogue a little further out with just a little more hope for the ravaged kingdoms.

Overall, I still didn't really like Claire's character or her choices most of the time especially in this book, but the guys and the plot kept me coming back

Decent conclusion

-Book 3 of 3, completed trilogy
-RH
-fae (supernatural)

I guess I’m gonna go with 3 stars for this book, and the entire trilogy overall. This wasn’t a bad trilogy, it really wasn’t. But it wasn’t the best either. I found myself skimming quite a bit in this book. Normally, I would have a trilogy completed in 2 days MAX. This one took me a little longer because I wasn’t just completely enraptured with this story. I honestly feel like this story could have been wrapped up way sooner. And one thing that really bothered me was the conclusion with her mom... there really wasn’t one. We know her mom has a lot of crap to work through, but if she’s stable enough to argue and bicker with Mortus, she’s stable enough to have a conversation with her daughter whom she missed the entire life of. Idk, there was a lot regarding their world and their positions of Kings and Queen that I would have liked more elaboration on, personally. I also would have liked to see her actually engage with other fae more, and also see how they reacted to her afterward the big show down. Overall, it was a decent read, but not something I would consider a “favorite”.

Great finale

It doesn't happen to me often that I finish a series in one go, but this one kept my attention as it had a great, solid plot and amazing characters.

The only remark I had during this final book is that I started skimming the smuttier parts in order to continue the storyline, which is for sure not something others will find a hardship. Personally I'm an advocate for variety and I missed it during some scenes. But the plot and characters definitely made up for it.

This book was amazing. I'm so glad she finally completed the mating with everyone. I love that Claire finally figured out that it was Elena who was killing everyone and that there wasn't a plague. I love that they found Claire's mom and that they were able to save her. I was glad when they were able to kill Elena and save all the fae. I love that she becomes queen.
