She started writing her first novel, No One to Hold, because the characters were screaming at her to do so. The story started coming out in Arell’s dreams and attacking her in the shower, so she took to the computer to shut them up. But they kept talking.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Arell has what some may call a “checkered past.” Prior to discovering her passion for writing romance, she practiced law, was a wedding and event planner and even dabbled in marketing. She lives with a very supportive husband and two mischievous cats. When not in her writing cave, Arell can be found making dinner in the crock pot, working out with Shaun T or hitting the beach.

Vice was the prequel of Sins of the Fathers series, where many characters were introduced along with their roles.
I was very close to having a headache from the plethora of people in this novella and unfortunately I couldn’t connect with any of them.
It didn’t work for me therefore I will not continue with this series.

Embrace the good in your life everyday as you never know when it will take a bad turn...
Xander was on top of the world. Amazing job, check. Gorgeous girlfriend, double-check. He was also in the Speed Skating Race for the annual Tinsel & Tatas charity event for breast cancer. His grandma had passed away from cancer. Theo his best friend and his sister Paige were in the race as well. During this event, Xander sees a change in his girlfriend Darcey. It is also brought to his attention she has her own agenda.
Xander finds himself questioning himself when Darcey seems to be calling all the shots in their relationship. But he just wants to make her happy. Xander's life takes a very wrong turn and it changes all the goals he had wished for his future.

Xander thought he had it all, an awesome job and a beautiful girl friend. Xander, Theo and Paige were in the Speed Skating Race at the Tinsel & Tatas Charity event for Breats Cancer. Xander lost his Grandmother to Breast Cancer. It was after the race that he propossed to his girlfriend Darcey. During the Ball events he learns that Darcey didn't care for the seeting in the Engagement ring and later he found out that she her own agenda. To make things worse the FBI shows up and arrest his dad and uncles on a lot of charges. This short story "Tinsel Bomb by Arell Rivers in the Tinsel & Tatas Anthology" is the beginning of Arell Rivers' new series "Sins Of The Fathers".

Wow!
Now this was a cliffhanger! I figured out early in the story how shallow Darce was but she just got worse and worse. Zander and Theo both have reasons to be devastated with their lives and I'm looking forward to seeing how they end up. I also loved how the author's characters show up in this series.

Arell is one of my all time favorite authors. Vice: A Sins of the Fathers Short Story which introduces us to her new series. Xander and Theo are amazing characters. This short story definitely leaves you wanting more. Xander thought I his whole life was headed in the right direction. Beautiful fiancé and a job he loves. Little does he know it’s all about to change….

I read this story as part of the Tinsel and Tatas's anthology and I absolutely loved. Sins of the fathers looks a very promising series and I cannot wait to see how the brother's/cousins stories unfold!

Xander and Darvey's story is not what it appears at first. Arell is a great storyteller and brings this first in a series to life quickly.
I loved the characters and look forward to book 2.

This story is a good introduction to the authors next series. I immediately liked Theo and can't wait to read his story. Xander has potential but i didn't click with him as immediately.

I enjoyed reading this short story about Xander and his family what is happening and what happens at the end can't wait to the next book in this series Anger I recommend this book!!!!!
