A paranormal women’s fiction holiday cozy mystery – because midlife can be a real witch (especially at Yule and Christmas)!
A bookstore of my very own and a Victorian house on the beach in the magical town of Miracle Bay means I get to finally relax and enjoy life—right? Wrong.
After a Yule-tide tarot reading goes awry, my best friend Emerald is suddenly overwhelmed by a series of unfortunate events, each one more dangerous than the last. If Emerald and I don’t find the answer before Christmas and Yule arrive, the enchantment tangled around her is going to be the least of our problems.
Join Juniper “JJ” Jones on her a magical escapade and fall in love with Miracle Bay. This is a stand alone holiday story which can be read in any order. You do not have to have read the rest of the series to enjoy this fun read!
This novella originally appeared in Seasoned Magic Paranormal Women's Fiction Anthology. It has been updated with extra scenes.

Shéa MacLeod has dreamed of writing novels since before she could hold a crayon. She totally blames her mother.
Her favorite poem as a child was ‘Jabberwocky’, and Her favorite authors were Agatha Christie and Edgar Allan Poe. Which probably explains a lot.
After a six year sojourn in London, England, a dearth of good donuts has driven her back to her hometown. She now resides in the leafy green hills outside Portland, Oregon where she indulges in her fondness for strong coffee, Ancient Aliens reruns, lemon curd, and dragons.
Because everything's better with dragons.
Shéa is the author of the SUNWALKER SAGA (a fast paced urban fantasy series with a kick-ass heroine published by Montlake) and DRAGON WARS (a post-apocalyptic series with dragons)as well as the Cupcake Goddess novelettes.
A fun novella. In the enchanted town on the Oregon coast the local tarot reader is “enchanted”. And everything goes crazy. She dreams of ghosts, her reading are off and she has turned into a clutz. A quick fun read
I do like this author. Her books are always such fun to read. This one was a very short novella where one of the characters was “enchanted” but the enchantment went wrong and all sort of wacky things happened. Luckily the culprit was found and the enchantment removed and the friends could all celebrate Witchmas at their party.
Enjoyed this short story of Witchmas Spirits from the Season of the Witch series. This us such a fun world and I highly recommend it to everyone. Start at the beginning to enjoy all of the twists and turns of this great series!! Can't wait for the next one!!!
This is the first book that I've read of this series and I instantly fell in love with the setting, characters, and story. I can so relate to Emerald and her Tarot readings with bad news , being a Tarot reader myself. This only endeared this book to me more. As soon as I finished this book, I had to get another one in the series to start. I really enjoyed reading it.
More mystery involving JJ's new town. Christmas brings an enchantment on Emerald. Finding the culprit is the focus of the story. The ladies work with their friends to solve the problem.
Great quick read, it has a good mysterious storyline and humorous characters. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book as a Free copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
I have always been a sucker for sappy Christmas stories, and although this story was snarky, witchy, and had lots of magic involved, it fit the bill quite nicely! I most definitely recommend this story.
It was a cute short story and a teaser for Shéa MacLeodis’ other books. I guess I am going to have to start reading some of her other stories. They look like they could be fun.
Witchmas Spirits is a fun holiday cozy mystery. I love this series and the characters. The story is interesting and the mystery has many twists. I really enjoyed this book.
