Passionately epic and incredibly spicy! This is T.K. Leigh at her finest, creating a world to immerse yourself in, and characters to fall in love with. No one weaves suspense like T.K. Leigh!

Temptation had me hooked from the very first page! I devoured this book in a matter of hours.
The chemistry between Lachlan and Julia and instant and explosive. I loved the build up of their relationship or agreement in this situation. Both of them have secrets in their pasts that they would like to stay buried and would like to move on from. With passion like theirs they can’t deny it, so why not enjoy their time together. No names, no personal details, just full on passion and fun.
This book does end on a cliffhanger, so be warned. I am DYING to know what is going to happen next and where this story is going to go. There are also many twists and turns and I know that this will just be the start of it all.
If you’re looking for an age gap (older woman, younger man), romantic suspense story this is one to check out!

Temptation by T.K. Leigh was suspense and desires in extremes. It was sinful. It was action packed. It was full of twists, secrets and mysterious turns. You will fall in love with the complex storyline and layered characters.
This is book one of the series and ends in a cliffhanger. Famous baseball player Lachlan Hale just lost his sister and it has dredged up demons of his past. He is a mess and so he escapes to Hawaii where he grew up. There he meets Julia though he doesn't know her name or that she is a famous business woman running her own bakery chain. Julia didn't recognise him either.From the first meeting, they feel this electrifying chemistry. Julia decides it's time she let go of her past and do something for herself. One week. No name. Just passion. But their lives are entwined in a way they have no idea of.

Reverse age gap romance needs to be done just right for me. And the author definitely did justice to Julia and Lachlan. Both characters have deep seated issues making them intriguing. Julia has been hurt badly in past and she keeps her heart guarded. Taking care of her daughter..expanding her business..her dreams are true but she feels this emptiness in her life. And her fortieth birthday in Hawaii seemed the perfect time. Lachlan is a mess of anger, grief and heartbreak and Julia made him feel fascinated after a long time. The push and pull was delicious. Julia resisted but Lachlan is a gorgeous force. It was filthy hot for sure. Be ready to get burnt! But the suspenseful parts were so good and added new exciting dimension to the story. Soon they won't stay stranger and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

I can honestly say that I felt that most of the book was not very good .
Both characters had an intriguing story but it only developed towards the very end , and so it turned out that the whole first book is actually kind of a long prologue, repeating the same themes, and lingering unnecessarily on boring scenes.
Will I continue to the next book? Yes . I'm interested to see what develops next and I hope the story gets more volume instead of the characters' thoughts and especially Julia's about herself , and the sex scenes that were a bit tedious .

This story right here is why I’m obsessed with T.K. Leigh’s writing! No one can write suspenseful steamy romance like she can ! This story is off to a fantastic start Julia and Lachlan’s chemistry is instant and explosive I loved their playful banter this story is sexy fun but also super suspenseful the suspense is sooo good the twists and turns and the steam holy smokes it gets hot between these two I was completely sucked into the pages and that ending omg I need the next book asap!

What I have just read !!! How I like the writing process of T.K.
How she knows how to bring us the twist you do not expect. That's exactly what happened to me when I finished reading the book. I was not interested in the age differences between the heroes, because when there is chemistry age does not matter.
But I was not expecting this end.

“It’s my fortieth birthday,” I declared after a while.
He turned his gaze to mine. Studying. Scrutinizing. Analyzing. Then he handed me the bottle. “Happy birthday.”
“Thanks.” My lack of enthusiasm over the prospect of having completed another trip around the sun was obvious in the melancholy tone of my voice.
Why did forty sound so much older than thirty-nine? Maybe because your thirties were a decade typically marked with several big accomplishments. Most people in their thirties got married, started a family, bought their first home. Your forties were supposed to be the time you enjoyed all those things. I felt like I was starting over again. A daunting notion this late in the game.
He arched a brow. “I’m guessing it’s a tough birthday?”
I thought a moment. “More…introspective than anything. You’ll know what I’m talking about in… What? Fifteen years or so? It just makes you think. Makes you look back on your life and question everything. To be honest, I thought I’d have my shit together by this point.”
“But you don’t?”
I took another long sip of wine, wiping my mouth. “I don’t. Most days, I feel like I’m paddling upstream without an oar, as my meemaw always said.” I licked my lips, the alcohol emboldening me to delve into a deeper conversation than I’d expected to have tonight, particularly with him. “I think I’ve just been suffering from a lifetime of someday I will syndrome.”
He furrowed his brow. “Someday I will syndrome?”
“Yeah. You’re young, so you probably haven’t suffered its effects yet. It’s when you keep saying someday I’ll do this. Someday I’ll do that. But then you blink and you’re forty, wondering where the last twenty years of your life went.”
I exhaled a breath, then quickly shook my head. “Don’t listen to me. I’m just rambling and feeling relaxed from all the wine I’ve had tonight. I’m not usually much of a drinker. Sorry that you have to deal with the ramifications.”
“I like listening to you. Watching your mouth move,” he crooned, voice low and almost sultry. “And it’s thirteen.”
On a hard swallow, I slowly faced him, my pulse kicking up again. “P-pardon?” I stammered, still focused on him saying he liked watching my mouth. There were so many different directions I could take with that, and I doubted any of them were above reproach.
He leaned toward me, eyes alight with amusement. “The age difference. You’re only thirteen years older than me.”
“Oh.” I stared ahead, unsure if I should have been relieved that I’d been off by only two years or horrified that I’d been off by only two years.

T.K. Leigh does it again! Temptation is the beginning of a new series, and it is amazing! An idyllic setting in Hawaii is the backdrop for this older woman/younger man story. T.K. is absolutely my go to author when I want to read about mystery and intrigue. Throw in a hotter than sin younger man, and you have all the makings of a winning book!
I was familiar with Julia and her background from having first met her in the Possession duet, which revolved around her brother, Weston. Julia went through some traumatic and horrific stuff in that duet, but she’s past that now, and her bakery business is going gangbusters. Too bad she hasn’t stopped for one minute to do anything for herself, the least of which is think of a relationship with a man, or even just sex with a man, for that matter. Maybe this trip to Hawaii, and the fact that she’s turning 40 will help give her the push she needs to rectify that.
Lachlan has suffered yet another devastating loss, and his agent has sent him home to Hawaii to take some time to grieve. He’s been through this before, five years ago, and both times the circumstances have been very suspicious. Can he find out what really happened to both women he loved?
I really loved the reverse age gap dynamic in this story. I loved how T.K. handled Julia’s insecurities in her own body, and how Lachlan made all that melt away with his patience and attentiveness to her. I loved the suspense element to this story, on both fronts. What Lachlan is currently going through, and what Julia has apparently been dealing with for quite a long time. Their chemistry is off the charts, they are so very in sync with each other. It’s almost like they were made for each other. But they’ve agreed to no real names, and after Julia’s week in Hawaii is over, they’re parting ways and she’s going home.
This story had me glued to the pages, trying to read into every little twist and turn. And that cliffhanger ending? Whoa!! I don’t know how I’m going to stand waiting for March for the next book!!

This book is brutally interesting and frustrating. I liked the plot and the spice. And because I’m all for age gap where the heroine is older, I stayed up all night to finish it. I wasn’t really surprised by the twist but it didn’t stop the shiver from creeping down my spine. As I said interesting. I really need to know what’s gonna happen next, can’t wait for Persuasion to come out.

This was just really dull. And way longer than it needed to be to set up this series - which I won’t be continuing. The “mystery” elements weren’t interesting to me.
The main problem is the age gap. The FMC is 40 and the MMC is 27 - this is totally fine. BUT why write a 27yo man as if he is over 50. Just write a damn older man. The whole appeal of him being younger is that he is not only “in his prime” but there’s an element of escapism for the FMC. She’s not bogged down by age and experience. She gets to be told that she’s fuck hot not absolutely radiant - and trust as a woman in her 40s there is a difference.
This wasn’t bad, just too much filler, didn’t vibe the younger MMC, and I didn’t really feel the chemistry. Too much talking and build up to the intimacy for something that ultimately read as just ok.

This book had me hooked from start to finish. The story follows two main characters and exploring the deep connection between them and the challenges they face individually but that also just may link them to each other In ways they never would have expected. The chemistry between these two characters is intense! And the interactions between them are very passionate and spicyyyy🌶️🌶️ The author does a remarkable job at building the suspense throughout the book to keep you wondering. And the ending has a completely unexpected twist! I was utterly shocked!🫢 I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a suspenseful, gripping read with romance and some spice.

Holy wow, wow, wow, wow!! TK is the master of cliffies and this book leaves you stunned! I think I need a drink…between the angst, smexy time, mystery and cliffhanger.
Absolutely love the Hawaii setting, suspense and the age gap trope.
Lachlan is a high profile athlete that has suffered a great loss and he is an emotional mess. He’s taken a leave to try to get her his thoughts and has escaped to Hawaii.
Julia is a single mom raising a young daughter that’s is growing up to fast. She is in Hawaii for work and is also dealing with some personal history that has left her on edge. Not necessarily looking for a relationship but actively thinking about her future and maybe taking some chances.
These two characters will make you laugh, swoon and smile. TK has done an amazing job giving these two so much depth along with keeping the reader on their toes with the storyline.

I just finished reading the first installment in this series. I loved the instant chemistry between Lachlan and Julia. Julia met Lachlan on the beach in Hawaii when she was stung by a jellyfish and he came to her rescue. She was shocked that he was 27 and she had just turned 40! They give one another fake names and agree to spend a week together and afterwards to not see one another again because neither wanted a relationship. They were secrets between them and they didn't know where they were from nor what they did for a living. This book ends in a cliffhanger! I cannot wait for the next book! I loved this book!

Temptation is book one in the series By T.K. Leigh. A perfectly crafted Reverse age gap romance! T.k. knows exactly how to grap her readers attention and keep us turning the pages so fast! Julia and Lachlan are just EVERYTHING!!! I need to see what is going to happen. Be prepared this book leaves on a huge cliffy. I am soooo excited to see where this action packed adventure takes us next.

Julia and Lachlan meet in Hawaii when he saves her from a jellyfish attack. Julia is a successful business woman, with a daughter whom she adores but an ex-husband who still provokes episodes of terror in her.
Laclan has returned to the island due to the death of his sister, which may be related to a horrible event that he has to do with Lachlan's deceased girlfriend. But they don't know each other's past, what's more they don't know their real names, they only know that they are attracted to each other and that they want to spend a few days together.
Very entertaining, I love to see how the past of both seems to intertwine even if it is for something tragic. I love to see how her relationship evolves, how Lachlan seduces her and Julia begins to gain more confidence in herself.
I'm dying to know how the story continues.

Very entertaining, I love to see how the past of both seems to intertwine even if it is for something tragic. I love to see how her relationship evolves, how Lachlan seduces her and Julia begins to gain more confidence in herself.
I'm dying to know how the story continues.

I am hanging off a Cliff and loving it. I have never enjoyed a cliffhanger like I am loving this one. I made the mistake of staying up and reading the rest of Temptation. Why, you might ask. It is simply because I stayed away, staring at the ceiling just thinking of all the possibilities. So many possibilities.
Lachlan, baseball pitcher, is home in Hawaii trying to cool off after the police declared his sister's death a suicide. He doesn't believe it. He refused to believe it. He is home trying to deal, surfing, sulking, being alone finding salvation in the surf.
Julia is questioning everything. Her past haunts her. Her future daunts her, no longer sure what she worked so hard for is what she wants. Walking on the beach is peaceful. Wading in the water becomes painful as a jelly fish latches on bringing Lachlan to the rescue.
Two strangers, both searching for anonymity. Two strangers, struggling with their pasts. Two strangers, not recognizing the other. What harm is there in a week of noncommittal sex. This book is #1 in the newest T.K.Leigh Series and as usual ends in a cliff hanger. But, she does them so well, you’ll be begging for more!

Oh my goodness! What a way to start a new series. And it’s Julia’s story. She is a secondary character in the Redemption series. No need to read that series before this one. However, it does give a little bit of a background of Julia’s life. T.K. Does explain some of her past in this book though, so you’ll get the picture. Julia is in Hawaii to promote her bakery. But something’s missing. She’s happy, but is she really? She has a past that she wants to disappear, but it’s always on her mind. Plus she’s turning forty. But with the help of a jellyfish she meets Lachlan. Lachlan is lost. He’s angry. And he’s also hiding away from the spotlight. He doesn’t understand why? Why did it happen? Why her? He wants answers. But when this beautiful, southern belle crosses his path, he sees light. Julia helps the darkness. And he is so intrigued by her. She’s older, but that is not an issue for him. And she can’t believe he wants to spend time with her. So, they make a pact. One week, no real names, and no talk of what haunts both of them. Just a week of passion and companionship. And after a week they walk away. This book has some twists and turns, mystery and explosive chemistry. Oh, and it ends in a cliffhanger! I cannot wait for Persuasion. It cannot come soon enough!

I love everything T.K. Leigh writes but now that she's giving us a new suspense filled series, I feel like my world is right. Lachlan Hale is a major league baseball pitcher who has just lost his sister, and the cops on the case won't listen to him about his sister so he reacts with anger which lands him in some hot water. Now he's gone back home to Hawaii, and it's time to really start at the beginning to see if they missed anything that got them to this point. Julia is a woman who is in Hawaii for work, and she's got her own mean demons she battles. She & Lachlan keep running into each other and the sparks are flying, but there's one problem, she's a bit older than him. They end up making an agreement to just have some fun for the week she's there without giving any details away about their lives, and no real names. I'm not going to lie, I'm not a big fan of older women/younger men, and I know that sounds terrible but it's a personal preference. With that being said, I couldn't get enough of this couple as the sparks are potent & totally came out of my kindle. Of course, the twists are coming in hot which was my favorite because this author never fails to shock me, and that cliffhanger ending certainly did that in spades. I CANNOT WAIT for the next book as I'M HERE FOR IT ALL so yeah, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have a love, hate relationship with T.K. and her cliffhangers…. Let’s just say Temptation didn’t disappoint. Page turning from the first page.
Lachlan only 27 at the top of his career you’d think he’d have everything he’s ever wanted. But life changing circumstances have jaded him, made the future he once wanted something he now never wants. Going home for a week while waiting for a career decision sounds innocent enough but not when home is where your past and future have unanswered questions and the perfect distraction…
Julia has success, everything she wanted professionally just a personal past she wished she could forget. Demons that won’t let her move on… Until several chance meetings with a very attractive younger man and a night out with her best friend. What a birthday gift to yourself, to allow yourself to do exactly what you want to do, to have no regrets or a need to look back. And boy does she find that in Lachlan…
Oh and the chemistry Lachlan and Julia have is amazing right from the beginning. A natural pull, a connection that can’t be ignored. I can’t wait to see what happens in book two when we find out they’re more connected than they even imagined.

Oh. My. Goshhhh!! I literally have no words for how I’m feeling after finishing reading Temptation. All I can say is that this is TK Leigh’s best work to date. Temptation is the first book in the brand new series, Temptation and it is hands down going to be one of my absolute favorites of the year. Ms. Leigh is known for her cliffhanging, thought provoking, and incredibly written characters and Temptation was no different. When I got to the last page I honestly wanted to scream.
Lachlan and Julia are two phenomenal characters that stole my heart from the very first page. The chemistry between the two is off the charts hot. Like super hot. Their lives are not smooth sailing and the trauma they both carry is heavy. They promise each other a one week break from their lives. But that’s not possible…
I honestly don’t know how I am going to wait for the next installment to get here. These characters embedded their way into my heart already. Ms. Leigh is incredible at world building and once you add the twists and turns-it’s game over. So extremely excited to read book two!

Julia is in Hawaii for work and also celebrating her 40th birthday. She's a single mom with some heavy baggage and trying to regain control of her life. She hasn't felt light or free in a long time.
Lachlan is a 28 year old MLB pitcher who is home on bereavement leave due to the death of his sibling. He has not been home in quite a while because of a tragedy and he is having trouble wrapping his head around it all.
Julia meets Lachlan when he renders aid to her on the beach, then they bump into each other again. Neither can deny the attraction, but Julia fights it because of the age difference between them. As Belle and Chris, they were adorable.
I love Age Gap Romance and Ms Leigh does this one just right with the slow burn that heats at just the right temperature. You will feel all the feels with these two because even though Julia may be the older, she is by far the more innocent. I loved the way these two interacted together and enjoyed watching their relationship grow. I can't wait for the next book!

What a mind blowing start this was to the new series by T.K. Leigh! From the start the chemistry between Lachlan and Julia was explosive and had me fanning myself more than once! I love older women younger men age gaps so I especially loved getting a new one to read, and read it I did, totally unable to put it down.
There are so many layers to peel back in this story and T.K. does this bit by bit teasing us all the way to the end. Lachlan and Julia make a pact to not use their real names or reveal any details about themselves but just to spend the having amazing sex and a good time together. But those are not all the secrets they are keeping, both have a past that haunts them no matter how much they try and forget it.

Julia is a successful baker with her own bakery chain. She's a single mom and her past relationship has her very cautious of men. It's her 40th birthday and her and her friend make a list of things she needs to experience and do.
Julia and Lacklan keep running into each other and can't deny the chemistry between them. Maybe he's the perfect distraction to help her with the list. So they make a pact. One week. No names. No expectations.
