Becca works long hours at a job she's good at but hates. She longs for a slower pace of life for her daughter. When her aunt and uncle ask her to come to their ranch for the holidays, she thinks it's because it's been too long since they visited. She doesn't know they have a plan and job offer that would bring her back permanently. Then Clint drops a bombshell when he tells Becca the only regret he has in life is not coming to get her when she became a single mom.
Twelve years ago, Clint watched Becca walk away from him. He refused to be the reason she didn't pursue her dreams. Now she's home for the holidays, and he's not letting her leave without telling her everything he wanted to that day. He's determined to give every reason to stay this time.

This was a cute second chance romance. I liked Becca and Clint but I felt like they didn’t quite capture me as much as I had hoped. Perhaps it had to do with the length of the story but I didn’t feel like I really got to know them. I loved Abby, she was the cutest kid. But it was a really well written book and I did enjoy reading it.
The book is a good, and enjoyable sweet small town second chance friends to lovers romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry.

Becca and Clint get a second chance when she goes back to her hometown after losing her fiancee, he has waited for he to come back for the last twelve years. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. The first book in the Holidays in Camden series. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The story about Clint and Becca was sweet. I loved it from the very first page and couldn't put it down. I loved the dual, first person point of view which is always a deal breaker for me. 5 stars.

This is book one in The Holidays in Camden Series and it is Becca and Clint's story and what a great start to a new series. Becca and Clint have history as he let Becca leave without telling her how he felt and always regretted it but now she is back and he is determined to not miss out on a second chance to be with. Becca and her daughter are going back to the ranch to spend the holidays with her aunt and uncle not knowing that there is a reason and plan in place to get Becca and her daughter to come back home to stay. Will Clint get the second chance that he wants with Becca and will her aunts plan work giving Becca and Clint a happy ending that they both deserve or will Becca and her daughter leave again missing out on something special only time will tell what the outcome will be for them. This is the first book that I have read by JLynn Autumn but definitely not the last as it was so well written and a real page turner and I can't wait to read more of her books in the as and I definitely recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed.

"Come home to me, Becca." She's the one who got away, breaking his heart in the process. Becca is home to Camden for Christmas, and Clint is desperate to get her to stay. This is another terrific romance from this author, and a great opener to her new series. The characters make this story, and as always, the author focuses on family and friends. Auntie and Uncle D are ready to do anything for Becca, with the hope that she'll stay in Camden. I love Becca's pro/con lists, and her nickname for daughter Abby (Pumpkin Butt). Clint is a dream, and they make a great couple... eventually. This is not my first book from the author, but is a wonderful example of why I continue to read her books. This is a very sweet second chance romance between best friends and high school sweethearts Clint and Becca. Becca left for college and didn’t think she’d ever move back to her small hometown. Clint always wanted to be a ranch manager so he stayed. No years later, she’s a single mother and trying to figure out her path in life. Clint would love for her to move home but Becca will have to choose what’s best for her and her daughter. Their romance is a sweet Christmas story with great characters and a beautiful ending.

Jlynn Autumn writes sweet romances with sassy heriones. This novella was a departure from her usual style and was closed door romance, although that particular style of romance isn't my go to style. The story was good and the chemistry was palpable. Second chance romance of your first love is my my absolute favorite trope and Jlynn did it justice. Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC.
Becca and Clint were sweethearts but when she went away to college they part ways and she gets engaged to Hunter but he dies before they can marry or have the baby that she is carrying. When she goes back home to Camden to stay for the holidays with her aunt and uncle she connects with Clint again but can she move back without a job and leave her well paying job. This is a sweet second chance romance that will melt your heart.
This was a lovely read about second chance love. Becca and Clint were such a beautiful couple and all the characters were warm and loving, you were just drawn to them all. A fun, romantic, quick read that I could not put down and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.
