A young girl, thrown out in the cold by the only adult she knows, finds that eventually, things come full circle. In Runaway by C A Simonson, we learn that through hope and faith, prayer is answered. When a heart familiar only with hate and distrust first experiences love and kindness and hears the words of hope, their salvation is assured. It’s a beautiful promise fulfilled in this tale of abuse and neglect and bullies.
Horribly injured, Rose is taken in by two Christian sisters, where she gets a glimpse of her happy ending, but the story takes several twists and turns, and safety seems impossible.
However nothing is impossible if you believe. Will young Rose find the family she desperately needs, and will all those who did her wrong pay the piper for their sins?
If you’ve ever read Guideposts Magazine, you’ll love this tale of salvation and faith.
