Oh, the locket whispered to her too, not only the boys, telling her all kinds of tales, and it had even suggested a ludicrous idea, that she’d take the Horcrux to Voldemort, getting a reward beyond all measure.
Hermione had only snorted, but that idea had set her mind on a new path, with a bold, brilliant idea that could change the war, if only executed right. And … when did she ever fail? This would work, she was positive. She, the Brightest Witch of Her Age, could do this, which no other man or woman would attempt.
the whole premise this is built on is fucking dumb. hermione, brightest witch of her age, has the bright idea to steal away in the middle of the night to take voldemort's wand??? be SO SERIOUS. if you're going to do something stupid then just get harry a new wand or something omg it's that fucking simple.
i need to stop giving fics that have ugly covers/photo manips/collages a chance because they are NEVERRRRR good
I'm still not sure if this was supposed to be a dark comedy or what. Smut, if you can call it that, was very squicky. Also LV fooling everyone that he lost his memory after the final battle and is only preoccupied with brewing the finest cup of coffee..was an interesting choice lol.
This writer does such a good job with Hermione and Voldemort. Loved all the manipulation and how dumb everyone was except for Hermione. I just wish it was longer- could’ve read twice as much to learn more about the bond and what happens to everyone. Such a fun read. Not as good as sink so low but I still highly recommend
