Clint and Brittany had a chance at a future and lost it, but reconnecting at a wedding pulls out all the possibilities. Neither lost the love they had for each other and now that they are older and make their own decisions, it is time for another chance at happiness. Loved the characters, their backstories and the intense feelings. The storyline has happy and so sad aspects to their history during the years that they forged through. Using each others strength and support, the future is wide open to them. Great ending.

I am so glad that Clint and Brittany got their story told, and what a story! I got sucked in and couldn't stop until I got to the end, and then I wanted to keep on reading! My heart broke for both of them for what they had been through individually and together. One of the things I loved the most about their story was that no matter what, they couldn't stay apart, their chemistry, connection and love stayed strong and never died. I loved them together and hope they make an appearance in the upcoming Henley Falls series which is a place that will always hold special memories for them both.

Down to One is an excellent Contemporary Romance about two people finding each other again years after the upheavals of their youth, a heart tugging engaging read.
Leads Brittany and Clint are expertly crafted characters in a well written story that sparks with their steamy attraction for each other.
Both have personal issues to overcome some revolving around family but with fate on their side the outcome is assured as the reader is taken along on their journey and pulled into their complex yet fulfilling story.
I have enjoyed this author’s previous works and this new book did not disappoint.
