Falls of Embers the 6th book in The Fall Mountain series but its the first book for Serendipity - Serei (Dip). 19 years away from her family (who feature in the first 5 books) living in the dragon kingdom only to see them once a year. So shes basically isolated from nearly everyone who loves and cares for her until shes bonded/mated to the Dragon King. Only she hasnt met him yet.
An underhand character puts things in motion that give Serendipity lots of complications. One being her getting captured by humans but that also gets her some new friends in the process. Its a brilliant start to Serendipity's books and i really loved it. Looking forward to the next book

The saga continues, thank goodness
This book 6 continues with Mai’s daughter’s story as she grows up in the dragon kings city. Serendipity has grown up smothered by Draycian’s manipulations and secrets kept from her. She was kept from her mother and pack with no explanation except for being the dragon kings mate. To say the least by 18 she is fed up with all the controlling dragon BS and jumps from the frying pan into the fire.
The book is shorter than the last in the series but this book did not suffer since the world building and story arc was already established and flowed from book to book. I loved all of the new characters as well as the old established ones from the Fall Mountain Pack. I wasn’t surprised that I sat and read this book in one sitting. Now I have to wait a whole month for the 2nd book in Serei’s story. Here’s hoping April flies by fast. Happy reading.

O.M.G.!!
I need more!! I loved reading Serei's story!! Reading about her all grown up is amazing. Due to a misunderstanding, her mother accidentally gave her to the Dragon King as a child. She is his supposed Fated mate, but she has never met him. So when it comes time for the mating ceremony, she made a deal with her shadow friend to get her out of there. Except he puts her in horrible danger when she's captured by humans who enslave supernaturals. After being rescued, she also realizes that her shadow is not her friend but someone who marked her for death. Thankfully, her dragon mate and her dragon guard save her and 3 other enslaved women. One of the women happens to be a powerful witch who has a twin brother. She doesn't understand why she feels so drawn to 3 men! She just be more like her mother than she realizes!
This book is great! Lots of action, fighting, drama... but a little cold on the heat. Here's to hoping that changes in the next book! Lol

This book gives us Serendipity's story, and it was definitely an interesting one but I'm hoping that the storyline turns out to be different from her mother's as I'm noticing some similarities. Serei's bonding ceremony is approaching but she doesn't want to be bonded to the dragon king Draycian. She places her trust in someone and soon learns the true meaning of betrayal along with the value of life. Dray is desperate to get her back under his protection but along the way, Serei meets others that offer her protection as well. Feelings or more like lust is happening with people other than Dray and he's possessiveness is definitely showing. He tells Serei some things about his past but when a blast from the past becomes present, are there motives behind the presence. It's pretty bad timing after all and only time will tell. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next book because I was just as shocked as Serei and I need to know what happens next. I also love that some of the characters in the previous books are in this one.

I love a good dragon romance and this story is really leading up to a great storyline. I love grown up Serendipity and I love that she has a backbone like her mom. I wish everyone would have treated her like an adult, though. If she can know about her fated mating with Dray, she should know everything. She shouldn't be left in the dark, coming up with her own conclusions, the wrong conclusions.
I'm actually really on board with her and Dray. The other potential romance stories are okay, but I always have a Team, and I'm picking the dragon king 100%.
I'm very excited for Serendipity's story to continue and see how everything gets resolved!

Dip
I do not like her "grown up" nickname. She is meant to be Dip, daughter of the Alpha female of the Mounting Falls pack adopted daughter of the four Alphas. She isn't meant to be cursed. She isn't evil like her donor. Being the product of rape should have never been thrown in her face. That was over the line. And to wake up and find the only friend you ever had in a dungeon that was shit. Hopefully the next book will redeem the series. Dip deserved her family after all the isolation.

Wolves, dragons, witches oh my!
This is a continuation of the Fall mountain shifters book set in the future. Serendipity or Dip/ Serei is now 18 and due to be mated to the Dragon King. We learn more about her life in the Dragon City over the years and with some misplaced trust, she has now doomed herself and unleashed a terrible evil.
This is the makings of a Reverse Harem.
I really enjoyed this book, lots of twists and turns and definitely leaves you on a cliffhanger, but it leaves you wanting more, not absolute frustration.

An interesting start to this mew series about Serendipity and her lifecwith the dragon shifters. Too many secrets are the cause of everything that befalls her and she will have to choose a side in the battle ahead. Tarrant seems to be a friend rather than foe but the dragon king is more mystery than confidant and his secrets could get her killed. Although these books have cliffhangers, the stories are engaging and I want to know what happens to her family and her pack.

This is book 6 in the Fall Mountain Shifters and it’s another exciting addition in this series and I can’t wait to read book 7. I loved this story with Serendipity (Dip) who is to be mated to the dragon king but Dip doesn’t want him, I loved the characters, the descriptions and the storyline but sorry guys no spoilers so read the blurb and that will give you the gist to this amazing story and I highly recommend this book/ series.

Ohhh loved 🥰 this book 📖 it was so good to read ……poor Serel gets given away due to misunderstanding as a child her life not her own , trusting the wrong person gets her kidnapped/ captured and enslaved by horrid pesky humans who hate supernaturals ……will her supposed fated mate come find her in time …….?? I have read the previous books in the series and was excited to see where the author would takes us. I have to say I was surprised by a few of the twists in this story and that cliffhanger!
I cannot wait to see what happens in book 2!

Serendipity's story. Even though we see the Dragon King in previous books we really don't know much about him at all. We learn a little bit about him in this one. Serendipity has many that loves her but none that are close to her except maybe her guard. Story is steady paced and leaves you wanting the next one.

Meh, maybe I'm just in a slump but I wasn't a huge fan of the characters and I'm not sure I'll move to the next book.
I find Serendipity to be whiny, she has everything handed to her in a mythical world and trusts a random shadow man.? Why?
Also, there was no character development for the guys. We barely even see them in the book and there aren't enough books in this series to flush them out.

It took me a while to jump back into the series after the first arc, but man, this world is awesome!
It's full of interesting (and yes, also grumpy) characters, tons of action, and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Oh, and I'm totally rooting for you Nimmy!!!
Anyway, I'm already diving into the next book, can't wait!

fall of embers
So many characters, they’ve added to much so quickly in this book. I miss reading about Mai & her mates (Henderson, Silas, Valentine, Ragnar)…going to end the series but I kinda wished they kept the storyline instead of jumping from Persephone & Hades to the Dragon king then to the human world and now a cave.

I love the fact that we get to finally see what happened to Serendipity while she was living with the dragons. This is an interesting book and I rather enjoyed it. I can't wait to see what happens next.
