The path is hard and when she saws a baby goat, Beth tries to save her.
But the goat didn't need to be save, Beth does...
Now, she's hanging on a branch, waiting for death, when her personal reaper appears.
And to save her life, Grim makes a deal with Beth.
There's something about dating death that appeals her.
The reaper is my kind of guy, he tastes like chocolate, so I can understand why Beth is so in love with him.
These stories are fun and ridiculous, for now, this is my favourite.
Though Beth is immortal now, she still goes back to her pastry.
Grim helps her to pursuit her dreams, and they are going to help Sylvia and her personal grim reaper that's in love with his ward too.

What can I say? It was really hot and surprisingly sweet! It was even fun. Who would say a grim reaper could be this romantic? It’s a short erotic book with a nice plot and charismatic characters. I’ll definitely read more books by Layla.

I liked Grim when he first appeared, after that it was along the same lines as the first book. Overused nickname and flavour cum. I did like how they helped the other two. Not so sure on the strangulation though. Again, with the strange epilogue.

Grim is the second in the truly excellent Monster Ever After series, but it was the last one I read. Honestly, in Grim's case the order in which I read it didn't make such a big difference.
I LOVE the MEA series and simply love the way that Layla writes each of her characters, and the ...uhm...flavours of each of her MMCs! IYKYK!
Grim and Beth's story was super-hot and actually very sweet and the bonus story (available at the end of the story) make a great addition to their HEA. And of course, they make an appearance in the bonus story of one of the other MEA characters.
I will always pick up anything that Layla writes in this series and imagining her joy in writing these absurdly funny and absolutely bonkers stories make me so happy!

Beth is trying to get to Sylvia, who has promised her the recipe to her famous cake. The problem is she is in a secluded area that's hard to get to. And when Beth falls, she meets her Grim Reaper.
I love this author and every book they've put out on this series so far. They're fun, full of steam and always end with something to make you laugh. Beth and Grim are sweet and Steamy together and they make the book worthwhile. The writing is fantastic, but the characters in this book are relatable and fun.
I cant wait to see what else the author puts out!
