It is a must read for anyone who cares about the future of life on this earth .
This book is about that thin layer that covers the dry land of our planet , this is where we have evolved over the last millions of years ,evolved together with the unseen world of the soil.
The modern farming practices and our mega cities are destroying it that thin layer of earth faster every days.
Claude Bourguignon ,with no apologies, goes through the causes of this mad and systematic destruction of the support of our life , but then, he shows us how to turn around and regenerate it .
His writing is not just a intellectual essay, it is the result of a life time of studies , physical work and observation of the soil around the world .
This book is not the only one on the subject but it is a ray of hope .
I would like to see Agrologie been taught in schools and certainly to all young men and women who want to work the land .

Translated by a real oragnic farming legend from Auroville India. This book is a must read for everybody who is into organic farming and gardening. With Masanobu Fukuoka - one straw Revolution, my all time classics about argiculture and gardening.
