Don’t you just love the smell of freshly baked bread? It’s one of the things that I love about being a baker. Creating something totally from scratch. Giving it the love and support that it needs to grow into something mouth-watering and amazing smelling.
Another thing that looks amazing and absolutely delicious is my new Cake Decorator, Candy.
But there’s a problem. I have a strict no employee dating rule in place, and it wouldn’t work if the boss himself breaks it. Though, Candy is sweet, humble, and breathes a breath of fresh air into my life. I just might have to do something about that rule. It hangs over our heads at every turn and almost kiss.
This is the third installment in the Shaw Family Series and is a complete standalone.

The baker finds his sweet Candy
SOREN is the third book in the Shaw Family Series Book Three and the first I have read of this very large family. Soren Shaw is the third child in a family of twelve and is studied business, culinary and pastry in college in Bowmanville. Three years ago he started Soren's Sweet Treats bakery in his home town of Sandy Cove. The bakery has become a success and they are in need of additional employees to lighten the load on the existing staff, who all work hard and are very loyal to Soren. He has hired a new cake decorator who can also bake. Candy Nelson wanted to move to the small town of Sandy Cove and when the job at Soren's Sweet Treats became available she applied and was hired. She had always wanted to work with Soren as she knew who he was from when she was also studying in Bowmanville and they shared a couple classes. Candy is excited and ready to start but not quite sure what to expect. As soon as Candy walks into the bakery Soren is struck with an overwhelming feeling that she is his, even before she says a word and he knows who she is. Now the only issue is the employee rules....and that one particular one of no employees dating. Soren has always followed the same rules so now what does he do?
I really enjoyed this story and the Shaw family. It is nicely written, has a fast-paced and enjoyable story and very sweet and naughty characters, including the supporting characters. There is a bit of side story to Candy and Soren's secret romance but no real drama in this story, instead it is all sweet butter cream with a kick of dirty spicy at the end. I will definitely read the other books in this series.

Fabulous story in the Shaw family series. Soren knew Candy was his one the second he saw her, she had just walked into his bakery and was his new employee. This posed a problem for him as he had a no dating rule between staff. Candy was attracted to Soren from before she even met him. , as soon as she did it was love at first sight. Their chemistry was amazing. Sweet, hot, steamy, instalove romance with a beautiful HEA. Can’t wait for more Shaw family stories!

Book three in the series brings Candy and Soren's story. Sparks fly at first sight. They have a sizzling hot chemistry but he has a rule of no dating between staff. What will he do? This is a sweet insta love romance with perfectly painted scenes,moves quickly and smoothly and is an entertaining read.

loved it !! love this series !!! love Soren and Candy... this is their story... a fast paced short story... it was love at first sight... but, there's a no dating rule for employees... what is Soren to do ? Candy just got her dream job... and then there's Soren the boss... well... a sweet story...

This is the 3rd book of this series.
It's a standalone but the stories are so much fun you should read about his older brothers first.
He's a baker in need of a new hire in his bakery.
The one he hires - not only good-looking but is a true gem in the kitchen.
One problem - his no-dating rule.

An amazing, engaging, relatable, funny, romantic, and well written workplace secret romance book three in the Shaw Family series! The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is instant and undeniable. Definitely recommended!

It's a cute, short story about Soren - a confectionery's owner - and Candy - his new employee. They feel attraction for each other, but Soren has a strict policy about dating at work, so he has to find a solution for this dilemma.
It's full of companionship, friendship, romance and funny moments.
