About the author

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle, Lin always loved stories in any style and pursued a degree in film production, but she later decided she’d rather write books than screenplays. She currently lives in Luxembourg and is learning to speak very poor French (one of three official languages—and no, English isn’t one of them). The local history, castles, and cultures are enchanting, but her greatest pleasure is obsessing over a fandom whenever the opportunity arises. Sleeping Unruly was really cool to write. While I've read a number of BDSM romances, this was my first time writing one and it was incredibly important to me and Lin that we portrayed BDSM and the kink community in a respectful, and real way. While the entire Dispelled Lineage Series is very speculative, the way we approached the kink aspects of this (and the other stories in the series) is deeply grounded in realism. I'm lucky to have people in my life who are part of the BDSM community and are very open to discussing even the smallest details. Without their input, I'm not sure Sleeping Unruly would have been so successful.

Also, Aaron is a fox. But then, I'm a sucker for angsty, damaged heroes, so I guess it makes sense that he'd be my fave of the men in Dispelled Lineage. 😄😘
