I reached the end before I was ready..... again!

I find writing a review can be hard as you don't want to put in any spoilers, and there are quite a few for you to find out about in this second installment of Nem, Crimson Shores. I will say one thing, "I didn't know dragons could take human form" and I'm hoping Randy brings this character more into book three. As I will not be adding how or why I will say "I love the fact that Grant has his best friend from home beside him now and I think I have a soft spot for a Dwarf character as they are always goofy, but fiercely loyal to their friends". This is a none stop journey adventure with a few new characters joining the band of champions. It also ties up a few loose ends, but be warned it will leave some new ones to follow. It always shocks me when I turn the last page in a book from Randolph Lalonde. This one caught me totally off guard, again, as I had been enjoying it slowly like a fine wine. I could have read it weekly through Randy's Patreon site, but I tortured myself to wait on the completed book. I've just turn the last page and thought where did the 473 pages of story go? Now the wait is on for book three, and the torture begins staying away from Patreon when it starts as a new twice weekly serial.

Another great read

Randolph L alone is a very talented writer & I have enjoyed everything I've read of his.
When he breaks into this more fantasy role he reminiscent of Terry Brooks.
I can hardly wait for the next installment!
