A simple and effective peekaboo book to introduce common dinosaur types to the little ones. The dinosaur characters are well-drawn; the T-rex even has shorter arms that fail to cover his eyes. The large flaps attract babies from 6 months as they start to respond to peek-a-boo games. The repetitive questions, sound words and alliteration in character names make it an enjoyable and interactive experience for parents/caregivers to read along with the baby. It could add a surprise if the last page used a mirror (with a dinosaur costume) for babies to play peekaboo.
